“Will you marry me?” He repeats in more of a question form, and it isn't until now that I see how nervous he is.
Reaching out, I pull him to his feet and do the only thing I know to do. I push to my tip toes, wrap my hands around the back of his neck, and kiss him so passionately, I swear the people watching can feel it.
This man is everything to me. He is my light, my comfort, my heart. Without him, life would never be complete. The crowd erupts in applause around us and only then does it dawn on me that I never answered him.
Pulling away from his mouth, I peer up into his beautiful eyes and say the one thing that feels more right than anything else I have ever said or done before.
“Yes.”
