pun

hers,

her

the
grief
she
felt

Kerrigan
looked
puzzled
at
her
resistance.
He
wiped
a
tear

from
her
cheek
with
his thu

b.

beautiful
face—the
steel

giving
him
a
chance
to respond,

he
quick

y
opened
the
door
and
closed
it
behind
her.
The
tears
fell
free

floor.

up

the
bed to look
at her. “What’s

She

the
door

the
bed
