Tears continued

flow

Meeka
washed
up
and

the
closet.

he wandered
back to
the bed
and
grabbed
the
pillow
his head
had rested
on. Hugging
his pillow,

he carried
it
back
to
his
bedroo
m
, even
though

he
knew
he
wouldn’t
be
there.
Catz
looked
up
at
her as
s
he
entered
the
roo
m
. Meeka
looked
at
Catz
and
broke
out
sobbing.

Catz
patted
the
bed
with
her
paw.

Meeka

ed
across
the
room
and
dropped
the
pillow
to
wrap
her

around
Catz. “You
love
the
big
goof,
don’t

Catz
asked

wiped
the
tears away
from
her
cheeks,
her
sobs

ettled to
hiccups.

“Well,

could
be

love

said

sarcas

. “So

tears
started
flowing again.

Meeka
stared

sat
silent
for

she
continued.
