Reten and I are going to
strip our cellular strands of essence so our Psionic emanations
cannot be tracked and then put into a deep sleep. The invaders feed
on our immense energies and it only makes them stronger
collectively and we must lure them to an empty dimension, but just
before we do, our people will lure them all with the largest use of
Psionic energy this universe has ever seen. It will be felt from
one end to the other and be felt by all living creatures. The
invaders will come for the feast and my calculations are never
wrong. My people will make sure all current races and future races
have a chance to grow before the invaders become completely
unstoppable and suck all life from this dimension and move onto
another as they did in their own.

If our people do not
overcome, Reten will wake in ten thousand years and restart our
civilization through her own womb. I will do my part to restart my
people, but she is implanted with over two billion eggs from our
brightest minds and strongest warriors. The final failsafe. All are
fertilized so all she must do is bare them when she is ready.
Unlike her, I cannot awaken on my own. My mind must sleep with no
way to open on my own. My sleep must be near as death as I’ve ever
faced because the creatures are drawn to me like no other. If I do
awake and my brother succeeds, only I can reassemble the obelisks
and reopen the portal to rescue my beloved people. I’m the only
technical failsafe for my people and if they fail to win, Reten is
the only one able to restart our civilization should my worst-case
prediction come to pass.”

But what if you two are
hurt while you sleep and hope the king overcomes the killers? What
if you die in slumber? You will be alone correct or are the Creelin
going to watch over you?”

Reten smiled up at the insectoid queen.
“We’re going to an undisclosed world rich in iron sand. Where there
is minimal chance to be woken prematurely. The Creelin may find us,
but have been warned to stay away. Our stasis rooms are dangerous
to silicone based life forms. One drop will kill a million
Creelin.

To your other worry about
being killed during sleep… I sent mine and Mantiv’s genes to all
the history cubes the king sent to every galaxy we settled and
planted the seeds for life. With the blood of a carbon life form
descended from us, it will reveal the truth so the invaders will
never realize what we’re planning. Each and every cube is attached
to our biorhythm already through a subspace catalyst. If either of
us die in our sleep the cubes will rearrange itself to make the
genetic pattern to create an identical clone of us… if the
discoverers have any geniuses able to decipher the hidden text that
is.” Reten smirked. “If I die, my clone will be instinctively drawn
to Mantiv when she attains her peak strength and the same will
happen if he dies. His clone will find me.

Our Psionic minds will
subconsciously lead to each other. And if we both die, it’ll still
happen if our genes are revived despite distance. And each cube
will have a map that will lead them to the world far away to find
us.”

And should my sleep be
extended and mind forget the dangers or if my clone finds you”
Mantiv began in all seriousness. “make sure you tell me and
Reten
never
to open
the dimensional rift. If we do not return in approximately four
thousand of our cycles, consider us dead. If it happens know we
have thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and finding so much about each
other.”

Stay…” Reten began and
every one of them turned when a strange noise came from over by the
ship.

A small creature made seemingly of pure white
light picked itself up off the ground. It was barely a meter long
and appeared like a slug of all things. It was made of pure energy,
Renee could see that much immediately and it made her feel the
terror White Blossom felt at that very moment in the memory. Terror
so bad White Blossom messed her ‘past’ self.

Gasps came from everyone there, including the
ship’s crew returning from somewhere in the distance and before any
could react, the slug was shooting across the ground like an arrow
loosed. It flew faster than Renee could believe possible, but the
memory was as real as seeing a holo-vid. The details were too
lifelike.

The invader was faster than Renee knew even
she and Oliver could run. Speed somewhere around two hundred
kilometers an hour. Faster than even a Liger. Even Nova. And its
intended target was clear. White Blossom.

Being the closest fount of power.

Reten jumped between them out of reflex and
out of eons of battle she threw up a barrier, but Renee watched as
the Invader didn’t even slow as it passed through it as if it
wasn’t even there to slide inside the woman’s body. White Blossom
watched in horror, the same horror Renee felt even with a block to
keep her sanity as an observer, as Reten was ripped apart from the
inside as the creature fed too violently. It was seriously the most
awful thing Renee had ever seen and to make matters worse is
Reten’s blood curdling scream lasted and eternity of seconds before
her head exploded.

Mantiv roared in mental agony as his match
was destroyed and Renee could see the sanity slipping from those
ocher eyes, but then he reached out and touched White Blossom a
split second before all reason left, who then found herself
floating in space above the planet her hive was put as originally
temporary.

And that was the last time
I saw either of them.” White Blossom said solemnly, still floating.
“A month or so later the king told me what occurred and how he put
his brother asleep before the entire Solarian race vanished. Did
that answer your curiosity?”

Yes. Too clearly also.
Let’s return.” Renee drifted back into her body and removed the
sucker to find her hands shaking like a leaf in a tornado. “I
thought the Invaders would be more intimidating to look at. Like a
Thunder Lizard. I’ll never look at slugs the same way again. That
was horrible. I won’t forget that experience anytime
soon.”

Neither shall I.” Renee
looked over to find Oliver and his Pride sitting together. “Sparky
acted relay and showed me all you saw. I know now why they couldn’t
be killed and why I’m glad White Blossom stopped me from doing
something irreversible. My ignorance would doom us all if just one
could do what I just saw.”

So you believe everything?”
White Blossom was hopeful.

Yes, while the two of you
were gone for two hours…”

Only two hours!” Renee
shouted as it felt like she was there for almost an entire
day.

I studied this neural
network you’ve made to store your memories.” He didn’t stop his
explanation while looking at the alien hostess, but nodded to his
woman confirming that was all the time she was away. “Mapping this
room was straightforward and my scans indicate real memories are
present. Nothing in the neural matter suggests anything is
falsified. In fact I’m quite certain White Blossom is incapable of
lying?”

Incapable? How can you be
sure?” Steven said as he came walking right in drinking something
out of a glass, feeling right at home like he always does. He
leaned against the wall with his trusty sparkling spear and mace
hung at the hip.

Her species hierarchy is
absolute like all known insect colonies from Earth. She is in
absolute control of their behavior and dictates how they live. They
are bred for loyalty and cannot conceive deception. Their evolution
had no reason to lie if one ruler is in control. It is bound to
have an effect on their psyche. Since She controls, why lie? It is
an evolutionary absolute. I had suspected Keptl we know today were
different, but certainly not Feral as we’ve discovered.

Like we cannot survive
without ingesting water without dying from dehydration. They can’t
lie. White Blossom rules here, what reason would she have to keep
secrets from her brood being as intimately connected as they are?
They may have some free will, but when she seizes control, they are
helpless. We cannot fit her ideals into the Empire’s because she is
so different. Like Drakes, they cannot hide their memories and
don’t often bother. In fact, I wouldn’t think it would be much of a
stretch if Drakes were once influenced by the original Keptl. If
White Blossom’s mind and power is so great, it could have a lasting
effect on developing minds evolving light years away. Especially if
there were many natural Queens rather than Feral evolved. It could
be why Drakes today can’t stop themselves from attacking Keptl. A
subconscious reaction to right a wrong. But without extensive
research it is all conjecture.” Oliver shrugged. “Renee, I know
you’ve just experience something traumatic, but can we go fuck
hard? I need the release.”

Same here. Harder you can
do me the better.” She shakily stood. Nova grunted and one of the
females got up and moved over to give their master’s female a hand
to steady the shaky limbs. “White Blossom, I’ll return tomorrow. I
need to go mate and publish everything for others. My daughter
Vikki will be more than available to opening diplomacy…”

No, I want you and Mantiv…
I mean Oliver. I will not open a dialogue with any bipeds till you
get me away from this part of space and let me rest in safety for
awhile. That is my only demand. While you were in my mind I know
you are trustworthy. I Read you earlier too remember? Just you. No
one else.”

The firm set of White Blossom’s jaw was
adamant. “Fine. I’ll do it. If you can deal with my people while
I’m away I’ll be grateful.”

I want you back in five
hours for the feast. It should be plenty of time to do your mating
and acknowledge all in need. Please?”

Weeelll… since you said
please I guess I’ll look like a real bitch to refuse. Okay, fine.
We’ll return in five hours. I’ll even bring some of my Papa’s
select brews.” Renee smiled before leaving.

Together everyone left White Blossom in her
chamber to return to the City of Fire and waiting in the throne
room was none other than Emperor Markeese Coleson, Empress Trinna
Coleson and the renowned reporter Amanda Lockwell.

Can you all give me an hour
or two before diving into what you saw from my suit’s transmission?
I need my lover to help me relax?”

The emperor smiled knowingly. “Go ahead.
Whatever you saw must have shaken you up badly, My Friend. We just
arrived actually. Took the teleporter as soon as we got a break
from dealing with a mining claim dispute in the Milky Way. We need
to unwind too. Shall we meet back in let’s say… three hours?”

That would be wonderful…
but do I look that bad?”

Renee, even for you, you’re
as pale as a ghost.” Trinna spoke. “I’ve never seen you this
scared. Go calm down and help your husband too. Both of you are in
turmoil and though he’s good at hiding it, he’s barely holding it
in.”

Renee didn’t have to look to know the gentle
empress hit the nail on the head. They separated and Sparky went
his separate way to go be with Rose and his new younglings almost a
year old now. Soon as the doors closed to their bedroom Renee was
panting as he filled her to exquisite bliss again and again.
Connected as they were telepathically she could feel his pent up
need for release. Playing with the moon like putty had barely
helped him from losing all hope so she used her body to make him
forget about everything except her in the here and now. She kissed
and ran her nails across his broad back and she moaned when he
fondled her large breasts with those strong, calloused hands.

Neither spoke till they reached the shower
two and a half hours later and he finished filling her womb with
his cum. His forehead was on hers as he slowed his breathing and
watched her heaving breast try to do the same. “I don’t know what I
would do without you.”

Renee opened her sparkling green eyes and
kissed his smooth cheek. “You would masturbate.” The attempt at
humor failed. “Hey, don’t worry. I know you feel terrible about
blowing the shit out of the gateway and thinking you’ve doomed our
people, but after what we witnessed, we can’t take such a chance.
You would have woken long ago if your brother won against those
damn glowing slugs…”

That is a small part if why
I feel so empty. I watched Reten get torn apart from the inside.
Reten is nearly identical to you as a twin and when she was ripped
apart I could see your face in that agony. It felt for a moment
that I lost you… had White Blossom not put a barrier between you
and her full emotional memory I very well could have believed you
had just died before my eyes and I could feel the insanity Mantiv
felt. I know I’d need to be killed immediately without you, just as
I know Mantiv would have wanted.” Still his head didn’t move of
hers as steaming hot water beat against their naked
flesh.

I know.” It came out as a
whisper. “For a few moments I felt like I was being shredded by
that monster. White Blossom’s emotions are almost too strong.
Emotions and memories are clear as if they were happening at that
very moment. And we do not need to worry about those energy
creatures… unless you didn’t destroy the field
generator?”

No, I did. The gate’s fuel
can’t open a hole in the fabric of our space by itself. My field
generator can, but without the gateway’s resources it is useless
even if it was activated. Don’t worry, it is a pile of crystal and
heavy metal in my workshop. But now I need a way to remove the data
from our grandsons’ minds so they don’t try to do it one day. The
knowledge must be destroyed. The risks are too great someone
ignorant might unleash the most dangerous creatures into our
dimension.”
