Epilogue

Three months later

“If you could read my mind at this very minute, what do you suppose you'd discover?” Harry asked as he began unbuttoning Suzanne's white silk blouse.

“Hmmm. Let me see now. You're thinking that was the longest wedding dance you've ever attended.”

“No.”

“You're thinking what a fabulous crime-fighting aid your new wife will be.”

“No.”

“You're thinking you drank too much champagne and you want to go to sleep.”

Harry's large hands caressed Suzanne's neck as he slid the silk blouse from her shoulders. “No.”

Suzanne shivered as she locked her arms in back of Harry's head, bringing his mouth close to hers. “Harry,” she whispered seductively. “I have a news flash for you.”

“What's that?”

“A person doesn't have to be a psychic to know what you're thinking right now!”

“Is that so?”

Suzanne pulled him down on the bed. “Yes, that's so.”
