Relaxation and Rejuvenation

Chelle rolled over in her hotel bed and looked at the clock it was 9:18 am and she felt like she had just lied down two seconds ago.  “Damn, let me get up.”  She said aloud moving in slow motion, as she stretched she yelled “ouch!”  Her shoulders were hurting from fighting the night before.  She looked around and decided to call Ash.  “Hey girl, you up yet?”  “No, not quite, what’s up?”  “Nothing I will see you when you get here, tell my big headed cousin I said good morning and to take care of my friend.”  “Alright” Ash said laughing a little.  Chelle called Tera and Neese to see if they were up, they both were knocked out neither of them answered the phone. 
Damn those bitches can sleep all day long, literally.
  Chelle thought to herself while packing her clothes.  She laid a black and white Guess sweat suit on her bed, with black underwear, a tight white-tee, some white socks and her black Converse.  She threw her hair in a ball and took her clothes off placing them in the target bag with all of her other dirty clothes.  She put on the robe from the hotel and continued to pack her clothes making sure everything she brought with her was back in the suitcases.  Then she brushed her teeth, and circled the room making sure she had gotten everything, she heard Ash dragging in the room.  “Hey honey, you sound like you’re moving in slow motion” Chelle said joking to her friend.  “I am child, I need some help pulling myself together, I feel like I just laid down” Ash responded.  “Me too girl, but I will sleep when I die” Chelle said laughing.  She grabbed her Johnson’s baby lotion body wash, her baby lotion, and her deodorant.  She ran the water and turned the shower on trying to stay alert.  She got in the shower, washed her face, lathered her wash cloth and showered, she took deep breaths as she let the hot water run down her back.  After lathering her body with the soapy wash cloth she massaged the muscles under her arms because they were sore, she then massaged her arms because they too were sore.  After washing good, she rinsed off and got out of the shower.  She took a moment to lay across the bed with the bath robe on and relaxed, while she let everyone else wake up.  She gazed up at the ceiling asking herself what took her so long to talk to Chip. 
I made him chase me, and he didn’t give up he must be ready for a long and real ride; I hope he isn’t being fake with me.  I just might learn to love him one day.
  In the middle of her thoughts, her phone rang “Yo” she answered as if she had fallen back to sleep.  “Yo nothing, wake up” Neese said into the receiver.  “I’m up, what the hell are you and Tera doing?”  “Girl she’s still asleep, but I am getting up right now, come over here.” “Okay.”  They hung up and Chelle slipped on her Jordan flops and walked across the hall to Tera and Neese’s room.  “Open the door” Chelle said waiting for Neese.  She opened the door slowly, “hey girl” Neese said moving like she was 83 years old.  “Damn move so I can sit down” Chelle said aggravated, she moved Neese out the way and sat on the sofa in the living room. “What’s up girl?”  Chelle said as Neese walked over to sit on the love seat across from Chelle.  “Girl Tera hasn’t moved since she laid down, I think she’s dead.”  They both started laughing, “Girl I hope Nika learned her fucking lesson” Neese said rolling her eyes.  “Girl I don’t care one way or the other I’m just glad Tera finally got her” Chelle said laughing.  “I know right, my arms are really sore.”  “Mine too, I tried to massage myself in the shower but that did nothing at all girl”.  “Oh, hold up I got the perfect idea lets go get a deep tissue massage at the Spa today.”  Neese suggested.  “Okay girl, I think I might have a business card in my wallet, let me go to my room right quick” Chelle said.  Chelle went to her room, scanned through her wallet until she found the business card for Mind and Body Day Spa of Midtown.  The girls spent lots of time in Georgia so they were sort of familiar with all of the attractions.  She walked back across the hall and called for an appointment for all four of them, she asked if they gave group discounts and the lady told her that for all four of them they could receive sea scrub pedicures and manicures, cucumber peel facials, along with one hour deep tissue full body massages for $900.  Chelle booked the appointment for 3:30p.m. Neese and Chelle decided to split the price and treat their girls to a day at the Spa.  They were so excited about the surprise so they woke Tera and Ash up, made them get in the shower and they all went to Casa Grande Mexican restaurant for lunch.  Neese met the limo driver at the door before the rest of the girls came down and told him that they were going to the Spa right after lunch and she explained to him that it was a surprise for the other girls so he made sure not to say a word.  As the girls got in to the limo, they were all tired and Tera actually fell right back to sleep as soon as she sat down.  Ash drifted off soon after.  Neese and Chelle just talked about how crazy the night before had been and how exhausted they all were.  As they arrived at the restaurant, they put on their lip gloss and went in to be seated.  They sat down at the table and began to look over the menus before the waitress came to take their orders.  “Man, I am so sore from last night I can hardly move.”  Tera said stretching her arms out slowly.”  “You will be alright by the end of the day” Chelle said winking at Neese, they both laughed silently.  “So what actually happened?”  Ash asked as if she were confused about everything, so Tera gave her the rundown about the whole situation and how it originated.  The waitress brought the food out right as Tera was telling them the full run down of what happened the night before,  “Girl, to start off Nika is the bitch that is like 35 years old fucking with Cory, my fucking boyfriend.  She walks up talking shit saying I am a dumb bitch for staying with him, and how he wants her and they fucked a couple of nights ago and before I knew it, I had whaled off on the bitch.”  “I hate that bitch so bad man, she makes me so fucking sick why can’t she go get her own man or is she just too played out with all the niggas?”  “That bitch has been run through by all of the dudes her age.  She didn’t decide to fuck with just one or two niggas on the side, she made it her business to fuck with every nigga that hollered at her.”  Tera continued to go on and on about this broad while the rest of the girls sort of drifted off into their own thoughts.  “Oh, before I forget, sorry to cut you off Tera but when are y’all trying to catch a flight because clearly we have missed the first one” Neese reminded the girls.  “Well, we have to call the airline to see when the next available flight to Greensboro is, we can just catch the latest flight, I think it’s a lot later” Chelle said.  “Okay cool, so call and check the flight times.”  Neese suggested, so Chelle did just that.  They decided to leave on the 7:11p.m. flight that would give them enough time to relax for the day without rushing.  The girls finished eating their meals and asked the waitress for their checks.  They all paid cash and left the change for tips.  As they got into the limo, Chelle and Neese tried to keep Ash and Tera occupied with conversation so they wouldn’t notice that they were going to the Spa.  “So, did y’all have a good time for the holiday?  I know I did.”  Neese said, waiting for everyone’s response.  “Girl I had a blast, but my freaking boyfriend wouldn’t let me out of his sight for the most part.”  Ash said chuckling.  “I finally got to beat her ass, so I am totally satisfied.” Tera said as if her main goal was accomplished.  “Well, I finally gave in and gave my number to Chip and we had a good time together he is a lot nicer than I thought, so what did y’all enjoy the most?” Chelle added.  “Hmm, I enjoyed Visions my nigga it was crazy I loved it that night minus kicking Nika’s ass and being sore as a result, I enjoyed it I also enjoyed spending time with my baby.”  Neese said.  “I had the best time at 112, it was laid back for the most part it was just too packed.” Ash added.  Tera couldn’t wait to reiterate what she had just said “Man y’all don’t know how long I have been waiting to get at that bitch, she got everything she deserved and now I can wash my hands with the whole situation.”  Chelle smiled and said, “I enjoyed every day, I partied to the fullest, I met my new babe, I went shopping, I ate good and most of all I brought in the New Year with my girls, I love y’all!”  “Aww” they all said in unison hugging each other side by side.  As they were hugging, the limo driver pulled in at the Spa, Neese and Chelle looked at each other nodded their heads and said “SURPRISE!”  The girls looked out the window and dropped their mouths in amazement.  “This is just what I needed.”  Tera said so thankful that her cousins were thinking of her that much.  “We all need this, come on y’all.”  Chelle said opening the door and scooting out of the limo.  They walked into the Spa, it was beautiful the front room had deep teal color walls, with nature music playing, the receptionist was a beautiful young Asian, she spoke in a soft and pleasant voice; “Hello, is your reservation for 3:30 p.m.?”  She asked the young ladies.  “Yes, Neese replied as she told Ash and Tera to have a seat.”  Neese and Chelle pulled out $450 each and paid the receptionist.  They went to have a seat with the other girls they sat and talked about how nice the Spa was.  The girls decided to cut their cell phones off to make sure they got total relaxation the whole time.  “The color scheme is soothing itself, I feel like I am under water somewhere, but I can breathe easy.”  Ash said.  “I know it’s so nice and relaxing in here, we should do this at least once a month, and what do y’all think?”  Chelle said.  They all agreed saying yeah and shaking their heads.  “We will have to check on some S
pa’s back at home” Ash said.  They all admired the pleasant aroma of refreshing cool water, the beautiful colors throughout the Spa of deep teal, soft yellow and white, the pleasant sound of birds chirping and the ocean flowing, and the pleasant attitudes of the staff members that worked there. They all put their minds at ease for a few moments before a young lady came out to greet them and explain to them the services that they would be receiving for the day.  “Hello, my name is Aimi, I will be taking you to the back room to undress and slip on the robes and slippers provided for you, walk this way.”  As she motioned them to follow her, they walked into a room that was deep blue with a light steamed mist, she told them undress fully, and put the solid colored white swimsuits provided for them, and place the robes over the swimsuits.  They all took off their clothes and folded them neatly placing them in the cubby’s next to the robes and swimsuits that were hanging up.  They put on their swimsuits, robes and slippers, and Ash went to ask for hair bows so they could put their hair up.  Soon after, Ash returned with Aimi and she handed all of them barrette’s to pull their hair up.  She showed them to the Jacuzzi, and placed a 30 minute timer in the room with them; she also provided warm, plush, moist towels for each of them to place over their faces.  They took off their robes and slippers placing them on the rails near the Jacuzzi, they slowly stepped into the Jacuzzi and each of them sat in the corners, the Jacuzzi was marbleized with teal and white, it was about 15 feet wide and 15 feet long, so they all had a lot of room to stretch out.  They stretched out, leaned back and placed the towels on their faces without saying a word.  This was the first time they all were together for thirty minutes in complete silence, they were relaxed, their minds were at ease and they enjoyed each moment of pleasure. Before they knew it, the timer went off and Chelle had dozed off.  “Wake up honey” Neese said tapping her on the shoulder.  Chelle slowly got up and stepped out of the Jacuzzi, taking a deep breath in and smiling to herself already pleased with the relaxation that they had experienced.  Aimi came back into the Jacuzzi room and told them that they could take the swimsuits off if they wanted to, and place their robes back on.  Chelle took her swimsuit off and so did Neese, but Ash and Tera decided to keep theirs on.  Aimi gave them plastic bags to put their swimsuits in and told them that they could keep them.  Then they followed Aimi to the next room which was yellow, she told each of them to sit in a chair and to recline the chairs to fit their comfort zone.  As soon as they got in their seats, four young Asian ladies came into the room and one of them began to speak to them.  “Hello, I am Hana now you will receive deep cleansing facials, since your pores are opened now we will start with a deep moisturizer, followed by a facial scrub made with fresh orange peelings and other natural ingredients, and then a self warming mask made of cucumbers, oranges and other natural ingredients.  You will leave the mask on your face for ten minutes and we will peel the mask off and remove the cucumbers from your eyes.”  The girls looked at each other and smiled showing their interest.  They all leaned back and the four ladies begin their facials. When the moisturizer was being put on their faces, they got plenty of massage as well.  They ladies massaged their temples, their cheeks, their chins and their noses.  After the moisturizing, the ladies washed their faces off and put the scrub on their faces in a circular motion, allowing the scrub to sit on their faces for just a few moments before their faces began to tingle.  Soon after they were washing their faces again and getting the mask, after the spa professionals put the mask on their faces they placed cucumbers on their eyes and let the masks sit for ten minutes.  After the ladies peeled the masks off the girls’ faces, they placed a small amount of light oil onto their fingertips and rubbed it on their faces to make sure all excess mud was removed.  The ladies were told to wipe their faces off with the warm towels that were behind them on the countertops.  Then Aimi came back into the facial room to lead them into the nail salon.  Each of them got simple manicures and pedicures, nothing major.  Chelle got clear pink polish, Ash chose light pink, and Neese got dark pink and Tera, a neutral colored manicure.  The manicures and pedicures didn’t take long at all, but they did receive plenty of massage while getting them too.  Again Aimi came back into the room, this time to lead them into individual rooms where they received their deep tissue massages.  Tera was lead into room 3, Ash was led into room 2, Chelle was led into room 4 and Neese was led into room 5.  As Tera entered her room she looked around in amazement, it was the perfect temperature and it smelled so refreshing in the room she sat on the table and wrapped her head with a towel that was on the counter next to the table.  The massage therapist Akemi came into the room and instructed Tera to take off her robe and lay on her stomach with her arms beside her.  She covered herself with the covers and the massage began. Akemi immediately began surprising Tera massaging every tender kink out of Tera’s body.   Ash’s therapist came in and instructed her to do the same.  She enjoyed every moment of her massage from beginning to the end, her therapist Sera started at her ankles rotating them in a circular motion followed by massaging her ankles and moving up.  Chelle walked into her room and immediately grabbed the towel to wrap her hair up because it was damp.  She sat on the table and her massage therapist Yuri walked in and instructed her to take off her robe and lay on her stomach, so she did while covering herself with the blanket.  Chelle enjoyed her massage so much that she sighed whenever Yuri would massage her most tender muscles, she was surprised by the amazing relief it was just right for her bruised muscles.
