“Oh! Sorry, just thinking, that’s all.”

“About what?”

“You, me, us.” he sounded serious, Sienna started to get a little worried.

“What about us?”

“You said earlier that I had made you the happiest girl in the world.”

“And you have, is that a problem?”

“No, not at all.” They stopped walking and sat down on a bench that located next to the walking track.

“What is it?” Sienna asked, slightly concerned.

“I know we’ve been over this already, but are you sure you're really ready for all this? I’m a rock star, every day of my life is just gig after gig, song after song, tour after tour. There are going to be times when I’m going to be away for long periods of time, weeks even months. I just want to make sure that you're prepared for all of this.”

Sienna was almost ready to cry. He was the best thing that had ever happened to her and there was absolutely no way she was going to let him go, EVER.

“Fuck, I love you,” she said, throwing her arms around him as Lukas tried to hold balance and avoid falling off the seat.

“What was that for?” he asked, pulling away.

“For being you and for loving me the way you do. Lukas, I already told you that you make me happy. You're the only man that I have ever wanted, and now that I finally have you, I couldn’t be happier.”

“But wouldn’t you prefer to be with a guy whose life wasn’t so, you know…busy?”

“Lukas, my whole life is busy. Before I met you I never knew how to slow down, it was always just about work. I was avoiding my family and friends, and that was taking a major toll on my life. There were many times when it was even putting a strain on my relationship with Jake, and I live with the guy. You're the one I want to be with, and no matter what, I know this is going to work.” She leaned forward and kissed him again, Lukas reached for her neck and covered it with kisses.

They stood up and slowly started making their way back down the rock again. “So, how is Jake?”

“Huh?”

“Jake? You haven’t mentioned him the entire trip, is everything okay between you two?”

“Oh! Yeah, things are great. He knows that I’m with you and that this is the first real vacation I’ve had, so I think he’s just letting me enjoy this time with you.”

“I really need to thank him.”

“For what?” Now Sienna was really confused.

“Well, if the two of you hadn’t of had that huge argument, you and I may never have got together.”

“How on earth do you work that one out?”

“Well, you did say to me that he was jealous of me and I was the main reason why the two of you had the argument in the first place. So in a way, if you and Jake hadn’t of had that fight, you wouldn’t have been angry with him and you probably wouldn’t have come to meet me that day. I owe the guy a beer,” he laughed. In some strange way, he actually made sense. Sienna also had Jake to thank, if it weren’t for their argument, she never would have went to Lukas in anger and the two of them probably wouldn’t be together right now.

“Do you see your family much?” Lukas asked.

“What do you mean?”

“You said that work kept you away from your family.”

“My family live in Arizona. It’s a little hard to get away and see them,” Sienna replied.

“Do they come and visit?”

“Not as often as I would like, but when the occasion has called for it they have flown out here to see me.”

“Do they know about me?”

“Not yet, no! I haven’t told them. I just haven’t had the time to have that conversation with them, yet. I realize how that sounds and I apologize,” she said.

“There’s no need to apologize, but they’re your family. I’m a part of your life now so one day, I would love to meet them,” he smiled and Sienna looked into his eyes.

“You know, your eyes get me every time, there’s just something about them that’s so-”

“Hypnotizing?” Lukas asked.

“Yes!”

“I get that all the time. I meet heaps of fans who keep telling me that they can’t stop looking at my eyes.”

It was starting to get dark by the time they finally got back to the hotel. Sienna was absolutely exhausted. She had just had the most beautiful day with the man that she loves and she couldn’t ask for anything more. She changed out of her clothes and into her negligee, Lukas ordered room service for dinner before changing out of his clothes and into his underwear. The two of them lay in the bed, Sienna was so tired, and she couldn’t stop yawning.

“Someone’s tired,” Lukas said.

“I’m sorry, but today took a lot out of me.”

“It’s okay, you don’t have to apologize, you did very well.” He rested her head on his chest and kissed her on the forehead, there was a knock on the door as the room service arrived.

“I’ll get that,” he said, walking over to the door.

He grabbed the room service from the waiter and handed him yet another tip to add to the one he had given him earlier that day. After closing the door, he turned and looked at Sienna, she was lying down on the bed, sound asleep.

Lukas quietly put the dinner on the table, he walked to the bathroom and quickly showered. When he finished, he walked out of the bathroom and over to the bed. He pulled the covers over Sienna before crawling into bed himself. He lay there for a couple of seconds, gently playing with her hair before he turned out the light.

He leaned forward and kissed her gently on the cheek.

“Goodnight, beautiful,” he whispered before closing his eyes and falling asleep himself.

Sienna's vacation week had sadly come to an end. She stayed in the hotel room to pack while Lukas finalized the bill at reception and ran some last minute errands.

It had been the most amazing week she had ever had and she was a little sad that it was all coming to an end. It had been the longest time that she and Lukas had spent together as a couple. Now, in a few short hours, their wonderful rendezvous would all be over and they would both return to their everyday, working lives.

A small part of her also missed Ivy and Jake and she couldn’t wait to see them both again when they returned home. She couldn't wait to catch up with both of them when she got back and tell them all about her vacation.

She decided to message Jake and let him know that she would be coming home some time that evening just in case he had made any plans.
Hey, Jake. I'll be leaving Canada in a few hours, so I’ll be home later tonight. Just letting you know in case you have made any plans.
She continued packing and waited for Lukas to return.

After a couple of minutes her phone alerted her of a message, as she read the text, Lukas returned.

“Good morning,” he said, acknowledging her with a kiss.

“Good morning,” she replied returning the compliment.

“All packed?”

“Huh? Sorry I was just reading a text from Jake.”

“I said, are you all packed?”

“Almost,” she replied.

“Has something happened with Jake?”

“Oh, no he's fine. I just sent him a text to tell him I'd be home later tonight in case he had plans.”

“You're very considerate, aren't you?” Sienna couldn't tell if he was being serious or sarcastic.

“What time do we leave?” She smiled.

“Whenever you like, the jet's ready to leave whenever you are.”

“Maybe we can get some lunch before we go?” Sienna asked.

“Sure, if you want.”

She finished packing her suitcase, Lukas did the same with his and they slowly made their way down to the lobby. They left their bags at the concierge desk and headed out to one of the restaurants, they sat down and one of the waitresses took their orders.

“What’s the matter?” Lukas asked, noticing the sadness in Sienna’s face.

“Oh, nothing! I’m being stupid. I’m just sad that this is all going to be over soon and then tomorrow, you and I will both get back to our normal, everyday lives.” She was silent, she sat there and couldn’t help but get slightly emotional.

“You're worried that we’ll never be able to spend time like this again, aren’t you?”

She nodded.

“Babe, you and I have been through this.”

“I know! And I know that this is what I signed up for, but I guess a small part of me was kind of hoping that it wouldn’t happen. No matter how slim that chance was.”

Lukas stood up and walked around the table to her, he lifted her out of her seat and kissed her passionately on the lips. The tears trickled down her face and onto Lukas’s lips.

“You're amazing, you know that?” Lukas said.

“Amazing? Yeah, right! More like a crazy chick who is constantly having mood swings.”

The waitress returned a few minutes later with their meals, Lukas helped Sienna back in her seat and the two of them sat down and enjoyed their lunch.

“So, what happens when we get back home? How soon before you have to jet off again?”

“We don’t have any other tours this year. When we get home the band and I will be writing some more songs and getting ready to produce a new album.”

“Another album?”

“Yeah! You sound surprised.”

“Shocked, I guess, not surprised. You just never mentioned to me that you were starting work on a new album.”

“Well, that’s because I never mix business with pleasure,” he leaned forward and kissed her again over the table.

“I don’t know whether to be surprised or worried whenever you do that?”

“Do what?”

“Kiss me so suddenly. Not that I’m complaining, but a lot of the time it comes so unexpected and I just wonder if you're going to throw any more surprises at me.”

“But you like surprises, right?”

“That depends, do you have something else planned?” she replied.

Lukas didn’t say anything, he quietly sat there and ate his meal. Sienna looked at him, curiously.

“See? This is exactly what I mean. I ask you something and then you go all quiet, it makes me nervous.”

Lukas couldn’t help but smile, Sienna felt a little intimidated, but also intrigued at what else he may have in store for her.

“I promise, no more surprises,” he smiled.

The two of them finished their lunch, Lukas made his way inside the restaurant and after tipping the waitress, he headed back outside.

“Shall we go?” he asked, pulling her chair out and helping her to her feet. He grabbed her hand and the two of them started heading back to the hotel.

“Wait!” Sienna said suddenly.

“Something wrong?”

“No! This is probably the only chance I will ever get to come to Canada. I want to get a souvenir so that I can remember this place.” The two of them stepped into a souvenir store and Sienna grabbed a few items. She placed them on the counter and took out her credit card, Lukas was ready to place his card on the counter, but Sienna stopped him.

“Lukas, please! I can pay for things myself, and besides this isn’t for me, it’s for Jake, Ivy and Dick.” She said it a little louder than she would have liked, and her tone didn’t exactly help, either. She paid for the items and placed them into her bag and she and Lukas both headed out of the store.

“I’m sorry,” she said.

“For what?”

“Raising my voice in there.” Sienna thought for a moment and then continued, “Lukas, you and I have been together for three amazing months and I know that you love buying things for me. But, I can buy things for myself too. Actually, sometimes, I need to buy things for myself.”

“I’m sorry, I mean, it’s been a long time since I dated and I really enjoy pampering you.”

“And I love being pampered, really I do.”

“So what’s the problem, then?”

“Nothing! Sorry, I’m just being stupid.” She hugged Lukas and rested her head against his shoulder as they continued walking back to the hotel. When they arrived, they collected their bags from the concierge desk and made their way outside, where a car was waiting for them. The driver put their bags in the trunk and they headed off.

After about thirty minutes, they reached Banff airport, Lukas’s jet was still parked exactly where he had left it when they landed a week ago. Sienna hated flying, she never admitted it to anyone before and she only ever caught a plane in an extreme emergency or if the occasion called for it. If she hadn’t have won the tickets to Vegas for the concert, she and Ivy would have driven.

Louis, the pilot, greeted them outside the jet, Lukas helped Sienna board the plane and secured her safely into her seat. After she was secure, Lukas made himself comfortable in the seat opposite hers. He picked up the intercom and notified Louis that they were ready for take-off. Louis confirmed and Sienna could hear the engines start as she made herself comfortable in her seat.

####FRIENDSHIP####

It was well into the evening when they finally arrived back in New York. Joseph was waiting for them at the airport when they arrived. He took their bags and loaded them into the trunk of the car as Lukas and Sienna sat down.

“Are you alright? You've been really quiet since we left Canada?”

“Sorry! I'm just really tired and still a little sad that this is all over.”

Lukas pulled her in and kissed her, “I know you don't like it when I do that randomly, but babe, I can assure you everything is going to be fine. You and I will have plenty more vacations together, I promise.”
