After writing out your 12 Forgiveness Statements for Day 10, the specific money forgiveness issue(s) that you want to work on are becoming increasingly clear. Give the issue a name. Now on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 represents “complete freedom from disturbing thoughts” and 10 represents “these thoughts are driving me crazy,” rate the intensity of the thoughts, judgments, and beliefs you have about your relationship with money.

The Reversal Statement neutralizes any subconscious resistance you have to releasing any thoughts, judgments, and beliefs you have about your relationship with money. It acknowledges your resistance and moves you forward anyway.

Since money is one of the greatest societal measures of status and security, our relationship to the energy of money cannot be taken for granted without being subject to a very high price. This is what we are all still learning from the aftershock of the 2008 U. S. financial crisis.

Use the Reversal Statement provided below (or one that you’ve written yourself) and repeat it three times while tapping continuously on the Karate Chop point.

 
  • Even though I’m stuck in the false belief that I can’t have money, and there’s no way out, I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself.

The Set-Up Statement helps you focus on the issue that you’ll be addressing during your tapping session.

Choose one of the Set-Up Statements below (or use one that you’ve written yourself) and repeat it three times while tapping continuously on the Karate Chop point.

 
  • Even though part of me believes it’s hard to make money and I can’t figure out why it has to be that way, I love myself totally and unconditionally.
  • Even though there is never enough and I can’t seem to change my relationship with money despite my wanting to, I love myself and accept how I feel.
  • Even though I always work too hard to get money and I’m never paid fairly—maybe because I haven’t really earned it or maybe I don’t deserve it—I choose to love and accept myself anyway.

Shake your hands out and have a few sips of water. Take a deep breath through your nose. Release the breath slowly and softly through your mouth, making the sound “Ahhhhh” as you do so.

For Tapping Rounds 1 through 3, tap 7 times on each of the 10 meridian points while repeating the Tapping Script that follows, or create your own script using the Forgiveness Statement entries from your daily journal work as your reminder phrases. Using your own personal Forgiveness Statements will keep you laser-focused on your tapping intention as different dimensions of your healing process unfold.

ROUND 1

Tap 7 times on each meridian point while repeating out loud either the statements below or your reminder statements.

 

 

Eyebrow:
Making money is hard work!
Side of Eye:
It’s hard to get money, and it’s hard to keep money.
Under Eye:
I’ve believed this for so long that it has actually manifested in my life.
Under Nose:
It must mean I haven’t really earned it or that I don’t deserve it.
Chin:
In order for me to have money, I have to pay a high price.
Collarbone:
Making money always involves some kind of discomfort, challenge, hustle, or struggle.
Underarm:
Lots of people who make lots of money don’t work as hard as I do.
Liver:
What if having money and abundance is easy to do?
Wrists:
What if I choose to believe that making, having, and keeping money can be easy?
Crown of Head:
What if having money and abundance is actually in the cards for me?

ROUND 2

Tap 7 times on each meridian point while repeating out loud either the statements below or your reminder statements.

 

 

Eyebrow:
Making money is easy? Really? That can’t be true!
Side of Eye:
What if I’ve been holding on to an old distortion?
Under Eye:
What if having money is really about changing how I think?
Under Nose:
What if it’s about believing I deserve to have what I desire?
Chin:
What if I need money, and God wants me to have it?
Collarbone:
Everything is energy.
Underarm:
What if money is just energy and I open my mind to the energy of money?
Liver:
Can I accept the truth that God wants me to have money and be abundant?
Wrists:
Is it possible to release the false belief that I am unworthy to receive?
Crown of Head:
Can I release all unconscious resistance to abundance and prosperity?

ROUND 3

Now tap 7 times on each meridian point while repeating out loud either the statements below or your reminder statements.

 

 

Eyebrow:
I now choose to release all false beliefs about money from every tissue, cell, and muscle in my body.
Side of Eye:
I am now choosing to have all of the money I need and desire.
Under Eye:
I am no longer afraid of money.
Under Nose:
I am now open to having money come to me effortlessly.
Chin:
I am willing to have money.
Collarbone:
I am willing to receive money.
Underarm:
I now gratefully and joyfully allow more money and prosperity into my life.
Liver:
I am now open to having money to spare and share.
Wrists:
I now expect abundance and everything good to come my way.
Crown of Head:
Money is my friend! I have a terrific and healthy relationship with money.

Recheck your intensity level on holding unforgiveness about yourself. If the level is at 8 or higher, repeat the entire 3-Round Tapping Sequence outlined in the Bonus Tapping Script (or your self-created script.)

If the level is less than 8, tap on a Modified Set-Up Statement, then perform the 10-point Tapping Sequence on the Forgiveness Statements from your daily journal work.

MODIFIED SET-UP STATEMENT

Use the Modified Set-Up Statement below (or use one that you’ve written yourself) and repeat it three times while tapping continuously on the Karate Chop point.

 
  • Even though I still have some stubborn judgments about myself and some resistance to letting them go, I am willing to let them go, and I love and accept myself totally and unconditionally.

After you complete the Tapping Sequence on your Forgiveness Statements, recheck your intensity level on holding unforgiveness about money.

Depending on your level, continue to repeat the sequence described above until you are at a 0 level of intensity.
