Still, she was doing her best to think about other things. Her dad and Sam were a much better topic to think on than her throbbing back-hole and the fact that, more than likely, she would get the plug back in some time tomorrow. They genuinely seemed to like each other. She’d never wanted her father to like any of her boyfriends before, but somehow, it was different this time. Sam was special to her and knowing that her dad liked and respected him meant a lot to her.

Despite the too-full feeling of her behind, she was in a lighter mood than she’d been when Sam had first picked her up. That was probably because he’d given her a few long, hard kisses that had left her blushing all the way from her cheeks down to her pussy. Well, it was either blushing or horny.

Then they’d joined her dad for a leisurely dinner and had even played cards before the men had decided to tackle the car. She had come outside as to not be alone, but also because she wanted to see with her own eyes that the damn thing was in, once and for all.

“Well, that ought to do it,” Sam said, coming up from the hood and slapping his oil-streaked hands together.

“Really?” she asked eagerly. Too eagerly—she caught the amused glint in his eyes as he looked her way.

“Looks like,” her dad agreed. “You did a fine job, Samuel. Thank you.”

“It’s my pleasure, sir. Always happy to help.”

“Did you know that my Georgia has promised to pay me back for the oil pump? She’d been helping kids at the high school with their college essays.”

“Really? That’s nice.”

“It sure is. I have to say, I don’t know what you’ve been doing, but you sure seem to be a good influence on my girl.”

Georgia couldn’t help but blush, and it wasn’t all from pleasure. If only he could see Sam’s handiwork—she was wearing some of it right now!

“She’s a sweetheart.”

“She sure is. But I mean it. Spending time with you has been good for her.”

“I appreciate you saying so, sir.” Here, he locked eyes with Georgia and she squirmed at the look in his eyes. She was worried by the twinkle in his eyes that he might spill the beans then and there, but thankfully, the moment passed. He gave her a wink, and she couldn’t help but smile back at him.

Chapter Seven

“You don’t sleep in, even on your birthday, do you, Samuel?” Gran grumbled lovingly as he trod down the stairs at five a.m.

“No, ma’am, but you sure don’t have to be up. Sun’s not even in the sky yet.”

“Sure I do. I wanted to make my grandson a special birthday breakfast.”

Sam had hardly sat down before she was setting plates in front of them. There were piles of her famous biscuits—some dripping with honey, some slathered with gravy, some stuffed with sausage and fluffy eggs. He took a deep inhale and when he’d let his breath back out, he was grinning ear to ear.

“You sure know how to make a guy feel special.”

“Well, you
are
very dear to my heart, Samuel. You know that.”

He nodded but didn’t reply. Gran preferred to leave mushy sentiments to daytime soap operas, and on the rare occasions she said such things, he knew to leave well enough alone.

“What have you and Georgia got planned for this evening?”

“Nothing much. I think she might stop by.”

“Might
stop by
,” she echoed, the disbelief in her voice evident. “Well, I thought she might plan something a little more… festive. Seeing as it’s your birthday and all.”

“Oh,” he shrugged as he took a long gulp of sweet tea. “I might have forgotten to mention it.”

“Forgot,” she scoffed. “Samuel, I swear, you owe it to that girl to let her spoil you every now and again. She’s going to be mad if she doesn’t get the chance.”

“I like to have the spoiling the other way around.”

“Well.” She huffed. “Have it your way then. Anyhow, my bridge club is meeting tonight instead of Friday. So I’ll be staying in Delouth tonight.”

He arched a brow as he bit into his second sausage biscuit. Gran never stayed out of town.

“It’s going to be too late to drive,” she said aloud, her tone slightly defensive as though she knew what he was thinking.

“Yes, ma’am.”

“I just wanted you to know, so you wouldn’t worry. Now, I’m going back to bed.”

“Night, Gran. Thanks for the breakfast.”

“You don’t work too hard now, Samuel. It
is
your birthday, after all. You know, if it was up to me, you’d just stay in and have a day of rest, for a change.”

“Then I’d have double the work tomorrow.”

“Maybe so,” she sniffed. “All right then. I’m going.” She made it all the way to her bedroom door before she turned back to look at him. “By the way, since I’m going to be gone, you don’t need to be all alone in this big house. You could have Georgia stay, if you like.”

She was gone before he could reply. Not that he could have right away, anyhow—he darn near choked on the bite of biscuit he was chewing and had to take several long gulps of sweet tea to wash it down before he’d recovered. But when he finally stopped coughing and spluttering, he was back to grinning. He knew, without her having to say so, that that was his real birthday gift this year.

* * *

He didn’t see or speak to Georgia until she came over that night. By the time she was finished for the day—most days she didn’t finish up until well after six, since most kids who needed help with their essays were in school at least until three—Gran had already left for her bridge club. If that was even where she went, Sam thought with an amused smirk. He thought he knew everything there was to know about his grandmother, and yet, she still managed to surprise him sometimes.

Sam was on his feet the minute he heard her familiar soft rap-rap-rap on the door. As soon as he opened the door, he was mesmerized by the sight of her. Her beautiful copper hair was in twin braids that rested on her pale chest. She was wearing a short, flirty sundress. It was cream with tiny red roses and brought out the wonderful tan of her long legs. Her eyes were twinkling at him as she smiled.

“Well.” It took him a minute to find his voice. “You look… stunning.”

She batted her eyelashes at him and said in a low, seductive voice, “Why, thank you, Sir.”

A few more of those coy looks from beneath her lashes and his semi would stand at full erection. God, she was gorgeous. He pulled her inside and set to kissing her before the door had even been shut behind her.

When they’d come up for air, Georgia was glowing even more beautifully than she had before. “Happy birthday, Daddy,” she murmured.

His eyes widened in surprise. “Thank you. But how did you know?”

She tilted her head and looked at him quizzically. “Well, you mentioned it a few weeks back.”

His brow furrowed as he tried to remember. He rarely talked about birthdays. They just didn’t matter to him the way they seemed to with everybody else. “Wait, you mean two months ago?”

She nodded.

Sam just stared at her, both pleased and shocked. “I hardly mentioned it at all. I can’t believe you remembered that.”

“Well, I did confirm it with your gran,” she admitted with a little giggle. “Did she show you the cake yet?”

He shook his head, mystified.

“Oh, goody, that means I get to be the one!” She disentangled herself and went scampering to the kitchen, leaving him starting after her.

He was beaming when she came back in carrying a white frosted cake. His girl was something else. Yes, she got into trouble from time to time, but he knew that her heart was in the right place. He was proud to call her his.

“Your gran and I’ve been working on it for the last two days,” she told him.

“Really? When?”

“I’ve been coming in after you go to work and leaving before you come in for lunch. The first day we prepared the batter and baked it. Then yesterday we made the frosting.”

His smile widened. “Well, my grandmother doesn’t let just anyone in the kitchen with her, you know. You should feel honored.”

She gave him another of those smiles as she looked at him through lowered lashes. “Oh, believe me, I do. Now, you just sit down and I’ll cut you a slice.”

“Yes, ma’am,” he said with irony, making her laugh. He loved the tinkling, innocent sound of her laughter. Sam led the way into the kitchen with her following closely on his heels. Then, when he’d sat down, she set the cake on the table and a cake knife next to it. “What are you waiting for, woman? I’m hungry.”

“First, I have to sing ‘happy birthday.’”

“You know, baby-girl, I’m not that big into birthdays.”

“Oh.” Her smile glimmered at him. “Lucky for you that
I
am.”

“That’s sweet, but—”

“Uh-uh.” She shook her head, making her braids dance, and climbed onto his lap. “It’s your birthday, so today
I
call the shots.”

He laughed incredulously. “Is that right?”

“That’s right. Now, sit back and let me celebrate you.”

He didn’t see how he could argue with that. Besides, she was too adorable to refuse. He sighed, as though he was just enduring it to make her happy, but the truth was, it was nice that she’d taken an interest. In his last relationships he’d always said the same thing, and had been met with shrugs. He told himself that he didn’t mind, and he hadn’t, but somehow, knowing that Georgia cared enough to make a big deal of it regardless of what he said made him feel special.

Then she began to hum, a tune he dimly recognized as ‘happy birthday.’ As she hummed on his lap, she swiveled her hips to the tune, giving him her best seductive stare as she swayed. Talk about a happy birthday. Then when she began to sing, her voice was low, melodious, and sweet.

“Happy birthday to you…” she crooned. “And many more…”

He leaned forward and kissed her warmly on the lips. “Thank you, baby. That was very sweet.”

Speaking
of sweet…” With one arm still around his neck, she turned and deftly cut a piece of cake. She picked it up with her fingers and, grinning mischievously, she began to feed him.

It was vanilla, his favorite. He smacked his lips appreciatively at her and they kissed again. She giggled as she licked frosting off her own lips.

“Thank you,” he said again once the cake had been eaten. “That was very thoughtful of you.”

“Oh, you haven’t seen anything yet.” He arched a brow, but before he could inquire, she clapped her hands and squealed, “Present time!”

Now he truly was surprised. He had no idea when she’d planned all this.

She leapt off his lap and walked back into the living room. Then she removed a package that she’d apparently set beside the couch. He hadn’t noticed it, but then again, Georgia was showing a propensity toward secrecy. He’d have to watch that, he mused with a grin.

His little girl was clearly very excited as she put the blue gift bag in front of him. “I had some extra money after I paid Dad back, so I was able to get you a little something. Go on, open it.”

Obediently, he took out the thin, crisp layers of white tissue paper and reached inside. He pulled out a tissue paper-wrapped package and took his time breaking the tape while Georgia bounced eagerly beside him. When he saw what lay inside, he looked up at her in surprise. It was a long, braided horsetail decorated with pink ribbons and matching pink roses. On the end was a thick rubber butt plug.

“Do you like it?” she asked, apparently unable to stand the suspense a moment longer.

“Of course I like it. I’m just surprised, since you made it clear that you’re not a fan of the, ah…”

“I’m not,” she agreed. “But it isn’t
my
birthday.”

“Come here.” He reached for her and she obediently allowed him to pull her close. “You’re very thoughtful, you know that?”

“Is that a precursor to ‘bend over’?”

“I don’t know, what do you think?”

Without a word, Georgia came to stand in front of him and bent over his lap, flipping up her dress as she went. He didn’t think there’d ever been a sexier sight on God’s green Earth. And then when he saw her other gift—a pale pink thong that left both of her plump cheeks bare to the naked eye—his cock rose to say hello.

“You know, first I think I’ll have my birthday spanking.” He grinned.

“And by
your
, you mean…”

“Yep.”

She groaned, but didn’t protest. At this rate, he was going to come to like birthdays a lot. He put the tail on the table and rubbed his hands together, staring at her beautiful, perfect orbs. He took his time, drinking her in as his cock strained against the zipper of his pants. Then he began to rub his hand across her cheeks, getting the blood circulating.

“Remember, birthday spankings are not supposed to hurt,” she threw out nervously.

Sam chuckled. “Whose birthday is it again, little girl?”

“Yours,” she groaned.

“That’s right. So I think this spanking is going to be whatever I want it to be. That’s only fair, isn’t it?”

She agreed with a nod of her head, but when the first swat landed, it was feather soft. He could hear her sigh of relief.

Don’t be too relieved yet
, he laughed to himself.
We still have twenty-six to go
. He made a game of it, mixed it up a little bit, interspersing soft, light slaps with medium spanks that turned her skin the faintest shade of pink before it faded away. “See, this isn’t so bad, is it?”

“No, Daddy.”

He could tell she was still tense, waiting. And frankly, he was loving every minute of it. He would love it even more when he could unzip his jeans and free his aching cock. The thought of sinking it into her, only after he’d taken his time enjoying the sight of her with that tail… But it would have to wait. They were nearly finished up here.

“And one to grow on,” he reminded her before giving her a nice, sound spank on each cheek. He grinned as she yelped, enjoyed watching her creamy skin show his handprint.

“Hey! You said
one
.”

“I had to even things out,” he reasoned.

She turned her head around to glare at him, but he could tell she wasn’t really mad.
