Astragalus for general immunity. This will speed recovery.

Supplement with L-lysine (take on an empty stomach 20 to 30 minutes before meals) and vitamin C with bioflavanoids.

Zinc citrate.

EXTRA TIPS

Apply a cut garlic clove to the sore twice a day. Garlic has antiviral properties. It is also beneficial to include raw garlic in the diet.

Do not share towels or facecloths. The virus is contagious.

COMMON COLD

Keeping colds to a minimum is about strengthening immunity, especially through the winter. Runny noses, stuffy noses, sneezing, dull headache, and sore throat are some of the symptoms of a common cold. Feeling under the weather and lethargic goes with these stuffedup symptoms.

Poor immune system.
