Book 4 in the Geek Kink series.

Dade is painfully aware Tony and
Genevieve are perfect for one another. He also knows he doesn’t belong in their
life, home or marriage. But they are unlike any couple he’s been with before.
They welcome him with open arms, determined to convince the broody Dom their
relationship has plenty of room.

It was supposed to have been one
night of unimaginable pleasure between three consenting adults. However, when
morning dawns, a loving twosome has evolved into a scorching menage.

Time stretches on as, night after
night, they come together in an incredible power exchange that leaves them all
craving more. And burning hotter than they ever imagined. Even as secrets are
exposed, the triad becomes an indestructible unit where the sex is twice as
satisfying. And the love is three times stronger.

Chapter One

Torture wasn’t one of Dade’s specialties but he certainly
had been doing enough of it lately. What he needed to do was stop staring. He’d
been doing a lot of that as well. Not that Genevieve and Tony would notice.
Especially with the way they were wrapped around each other just feet away. Why
Dade had thought coming to Genevieve’s restaurant was a good idea was beyond
him.

Because you want to fuck them.

“Another slice of pizza?”

Dade smiled at Elena as she slid another piece onto his
plate. “Sure.” Always the doting mother hen. Marriage sure hadn’t changed her
nurturing ways. In fact marrying Alex Conners had made her caring nature even more
pronounced.

Though Dade usually enjoyed these monthly gatherings with
his friends, he barely tasted the food tonight. He usually loved the variety
the Southern Ridge Grille offered. No doubt the meal was just as fabulous as
always, but tonight everything seemed dull.

Much like his mood.

Ten minutes ago, just as the pizza had been served, the
couple sitting across from him at the large table had moved to a secluded
corner shadowed by an artfully arranged lighting pattern. As the ultimate
restaurateur, Genevieve knew how to set a mood so the restaurant appealed to
the couple celebrating a romantic night or their child’s fifth birthday. As the
owner of one of the few table-service restaurants in Gatlin Falls, she knew how
to appeal to the tourist and local alike.

From Dade’s vantage point he had a clear view of the couple.
And of Tony sliding his hand between Genevieve’s legs. She shifted closer,
parting her thighs so Tony could delve deeper. The muscles of his biceps flexed
and bunched as he worked.

Dade’s cock sprang to life.

Great.

He adjusted, draping his napkin across his lap in hopes that
no one would notice. That was the last thing he needed. Despite his state he
continued to watch the couple because there was something that enamored him.
Something about their chemistry and passion that drew him in.

Genevieve clutched Tony’s arm, digging her fingers into his
sleeve. Dade wanted that. But he didn’t want just Genevieve clinging to him
while he pleasured her. Didn’t want to hear his name spill from her lips. Dade
also wanted Tony there. Not just watching. An active participant. He wanted
Tony under him, Dade’s cock plunging over and over between ass cheeks he’d seen
outlined by faded denim too many times to count. Genevieve would be there,
pussy level with Dade’s face so he could savor her while fucking himself blind
into Tony.

God, the things they could all do together.

Sheer heaven.

Except for one tiny detail.

Tony and Genevieve were married.

Dade wasn’t about to step all over their vows. This whole situation
was his own fault for getting infatuated in the first place. Damn brain. Yet he
couldn’t stop watching. Couldn’t stop imagining spending more time with them.
Couldn’t stop a lot of things he shouldn’t waste his time on.

But here he sat, like some lust-filled teenager bent on
fulfilling his wildest desires.

Torture indeed.

There wasn’t enough lighting to see their faces but he
didn’t need it. He’d known them for a long time. Even before Tony had brought
Genevieve to one of these monthly dinners for a date. He’d been friendly enough
on the street to each of them. Small towns like Gatlin Falls made it hard not
to see the same people over and over. It hadn’t been until that fateful group
gathering that he’d felt as though he’d gotten hit with a ton of bricks.

Various conversations going on around him faded into the
background as he watched Tony use Genevieve’s sweater to cover the fact he’d
slipped his hand under the fabric. As Tony cupped her breast, Dade saw her
breathing hitch.

What Dade wouldn’t give for Tony to lift her sweater. To see
the gorgeous blush of Genevieve’s nipple. To watch Tony work the bud as he
drove his wife wild. Her sweater hitched higher as Tony worked her harder and
faster.

Just a bit more. Go on. Give me a peek.

“Dade.”

He tore his gaze away from the darkened alcove to find Beth
smiling sweetly at him. “Did you say something?”

Her gaze flicked toward the corner where Tony and Genevieve
thought they had complete privacy and then back to him. “I wanted to know if
you wanted another slice.”

“I’m good.”

“No, you’re not.” Beth Flynn slipped her hand over his and
squeezed. “Do you want to talk?”

Dade heaved out a breath, grateful someone knew what had
been churning deep in his soul for so many years. He thought he’d feel better
but as his best friend’s wife squeezed his hand again, Dade realized absolution
only brought more pain. His heart felt just as heavy as it had for the past
four and a half years.

Maybe even heavier.

“Just have a lot of things on my mind right now.”

“You know I’m here if you need—”

“We’re going to take off.” Dade looked up to see Tony and
Genevieve had decided to join the group again. Pink flushed Genevieve’s cheeks,
her sparkling jade eyes wide with mischief. Her lips were red and swollen and
what remained of her lipstick was smeared. Even with the distance of the table
between them Dade could feel their bodies vibrating.

They might leave but Dade knew they’d never make it home.
They would try. But their arousal would get the best of them and they’d pull
off to the side of the road somewhere. Probably get caught by the town sheriff,
who would be amused at catching a married couple going at each other like
teenagers.

As Tony held Genevieve closer, cradling her against his side
as he pressed a long kiss to her neck, his erection was evident. He didn’t even
try to cover up the fact he had one. Of course he didn’t feel the need to hide
the fact he was head over heels in love with his wife. Not when he was with a
group of close friends.

“We really need to go.”

“Ah, young love.” Ryan smirked as he lifted his beer and
pulled Beth closer. “Maybe we should skip the movie too. Take advantage of the
childless night while we can.” He leaned over, pushing back his wife’s hair to
whisper into her ear. The town disc jockey flushed pink then red as Ryan
continued.

Tony’s friend Scott rolled his eyes as he stood. “Whatever.
I’m going to the theater to watch Harrison Ford kick some ass. And scream like
a little girl whenever there are snakes near.” Tony’s other friends, Cooper and
Mark, followed Scott out of the restaurant.

As Dade finished off his beer he noticed Patrick Conners had
pulled his wife Allison closer. Patrick’s older brother Alex had done the same
with Elena. As the only single person at the table, Dade suddenly felt like the
odd man out. Given the way he chose to handle his sex life as nothing more than
a casual way to pass the time, he should have been at ease with the love fest
taking place around him.

But he had never felt so obvious and uncomfortable.

“Enjoy the movies.” The Fitzgeralds strolled away, making it
only a few steps before Tony reached over and cupped Genevieve’s ass. She
returned the gesture. As the couple clung to each other, Tony’s low growl
vibrated the blood in Dade’s cock.

Christ.

The sooner he escaped this madness, the better. Dade tossed
his napkin on the table, disgusted. “Catch you guys later.”

“Wait!” Beth clutched his forearm as she looked up at him
with her expressive eyes. “Are you still coming to the theater?”

Dade glanced toward the doors where Tony and Genevieve had
disappeared. He could go home, beat this annoying erection off and spend the
rest of the night drowning in his pathetic sorrows. Or he could go to the
theater and spend the next six hours getting caught up in the mindless
adventures of Indiana Jones.

He sighed. “Yeah. I’ll meet you guys there.”

Getting lost in a few crusades sounded a hell of a lot
better than thinking about how much of a coward he was because he couldn’t
admit he was in love with the Fitzgeralds.

* * * * *

It wasn’t in Dade’s nature to wallow. But for the past few
weeks that was exactly what he’d done. However much he hated how he felt, he
couldn’t stop. Couldn’t find the fortitude to put his feelings behind him. So
he’d done what any other self-respecting man would do. He’d gone about his life
as though nothing was out of place. As though he wasn’t tearing himself apart
inside for harboring silly notions and unrequited feelings.

“Feeling any better?”

“No.” He smirked at Beth’s hopeful expression as she slipped
into his workshop. He’d done his best to avoid being alone with her since the
dinner. She’d made it clear she wanted to discuss the storm raging inside him.
Fact of the matter was, how fucked up he’d gotten was the last thing he wanted
to discuss. But like all the other females in his small group of friends Beth
was tenacious. “Not as though I can go shouting how I feel from the rooftops.”

“You could.” Beth set the long tube she’d brought with her
on top of the paper littering his desk. “Because you know as well as I do that
they deserve to know.”

“Can’t say I agree with you.” Dade pushed away from the
desk, disgusted with himself.

“You think I’m wrong?”

“You were at dinner. You saw them.”

It still stuck in his gut that the couple was on his radar
in the first place. He’d always been prone to falling for people whom it was
impossible to love but this situation certainly took the cake.

Nothing Beth had to say would convince him otherwise.

Not one damn thing.

Opening the long tube, he extracted a thick roll of
blueprints. Time to get on with his life. “Plans for the new Sanctuary?”

“You’re closing off again.” Beth growled and clutched his
arm. “Don’t shut me out, Dade. Not about this.
Especially
not about
something like this. I let you slide at the dinner because it was clear you
were distracted, but now that I have your full attention we really need to
talk.”

Dade cleared off a large space, opening the prints so he
could get a closer look. “Hot off Elena’s desk I take it? Her efficiency is
scary sometimes.”

Beth brushed her long bangs to the side, shaking her head.
“Fine. You don’t want to talk about this, I get it. But don’t think I consider
this matter closed at all. I will hound you constantly until I see a crack in
your armor.” She straightened her
Goonies Never Say Die!
tee and tapped
the blueprints. “Patrick just approved Ryan’s modifications yesterday. Said
everything is a go. Your sketches are in here too. He said everything looks
good to him and wants to get started right away. I suspect the glasswork is
going to take a while given your obsession with perfection. But it’s only fair
the four of you have your hand in all the pieces.”

His part of the work would take a while, considering the
fact he hadn’t been able to make anything mesh recently. His concentration had
never been this horrible. This out of focus. Maybe moving forward on rebuilding
Sanctuary would take his mind off everything else. Give him tunnel vision. That
or he’d ask the contractor he’d hired to renovate the main building on the
ranch to smack his head with the hammer a few times for good measure. Maybe it
would even knock some sense into him with the whole Tony-and-Genevieve
situation.

“When is Ryan planning to break ground?”

“Patrick had to grease a few wheels with the planning
commission but they assured him he’ll have the permits in hand by the end of
the week.”

“Which means he’ll be lucky to have them by the end of the
month.”

Beth frowned. “They aren’t exactly jumping in the air at the
thought of Patrick rebuilding the warehouse after the accident a couple of
years ago. Not once the fire exposed what was really going on inside the
building. That’s why it has taken so long to get to this point.”

“Nothing but a bunch of healthy adults exploring their
healthy sex lives.” He smoothed his hand over the blueprints, eyeing a few
details Elena had added.

As a former architect Elena Conners had a good eye for
ensuring certain areas flowed with the design she’d originally developed years
ago. Now the four of them—himself, Patrick, Elena and Ryan—had the flexibility
to customize. A detail that hadn’t been an option years ago when Patrick
initially bought the building. The highly functional warehouse would belong to
them even more so once it was completed.

Too bad Dade had no interest in the space anymore. Had lost
interest several years before the warehouse had been blow sky-high. Four and a
half years to be exact…

No, I won’t think about it. Them.

Turning from the desk, he noticed a few spots of something
he couldn’t identify on the sleeve of her shirt. Toddler Flynn strikes again,
no doubt. He’d been a victim of a few lobbed spoonfuls of strained peas thanks
to Ryan and Beth’s three-year-old son Malcolm. Given his own dislike for peas
he couldn’t blame the kid.

“How is Mal?”

“A holy terror. The latest and greatest thing to scare Mom
is he’s developed his father’s fascination with water. So Ryan is building a
fence around the lake at the house. Which reminds me, I need to get home to
pick Mal up for swimming lessons.” She cradled Dade’s jaw, her expression
softening. “He misses his uncle. You should come out for a visit.”

“Maybe next weekend. Have a lot going on up at the house.”

“Braving the big, bad world of home renovation, I see.
Seriously. Come out to the house. Spend some time out of your own head. We’ll
grill steaks or something.” She lifted her other hand so she could pull his
face down to hers. “Promise me you’ll say something.”

“I can’t do that.”

“Then promise me you’ll at least think about it.”

“I’ll consider it. But only because you’re so damn
loveable.” He kissed her lightly and turned away. He’d always shared a special
bond with Beth since the night he’d watched one of her panic attacks. She’d
come to town looking for a new start and had found it with his best friend Ryan
Flynn.
