Mia said a silent prayer of apology to her country, but there was no one she wanted to root for more than him. She hoped it was a forgivable offense supporting Gunnar. Brazil was known for its passionate people, and that gave her confidence and pride as she kept her eyes on him.
Seeing all of his competition go first made her restless. The first few athletes failed to clear the bar, and two had knocked it over. What if Gunnar couldn’t get over that height?
No, she couldn’t think of anything negative stopping him from reaching that goal. He was stronger and faster than those who failed.
Mia leaned forward in her seat as Gunnar took the long pole to his starting position. Her palms sweated as she gripped the rail, and she rubbed them together and gripped it again.
While she had seen Gunnar do this on the internet, and several times that day until his competition had fallen, this would be her first opportunity to see his live performance of a record-breaking vault. Part of her wanted to close her eyes until he finished, but she refused to miss seeing him work in the sport he was made for, one that was a part of the biggest global competition possible.
She inhaled as he ran and thought of how he described it to her the night before. He called it a split second of heaven. She zoned in on that beautiful image as he planted the pole in the ground and soared up in the air.
In those few seconds, she stopped breathing all together. When he cleared the bar and went through the air, time stopped for her. She was right there with him, feeling what he was experiencing as he moved. She knew it only lasted for a brief moment, but she savored the flight as if she vaulted through the air herself.
After he landed on the mat, Mia jumped up from her seat as the people around her applauded. There was no way she could sit still, even if she tried to. She was thankful his parents had stood up with her to cheer for their son.
It took forever for his name to appear on the leader board, but when it did, his full name glowed there in first place as the announcers spoke the same out loud. He won the gold medal, what he’d spent most of his years training for, and she reveled in the victory with him as he fell to his knees. She didn’t see him as some famous track star or a gold-winning Olympian. Mia saw Gunnar Kingsley for who he was to her: the man she loved.
She wanted to go to him and tell him that and more, but she couldn’t move from where she stood. He made his way past the athletes congratulating him and patting him on the back until he came up to them. He hugged his parents before making his way over to her.
Mia leaned over the banister and hugged him with everything inside of her, all the years of caring for him and sharing her life with him breaking through in that one loving embrace. She couldn’t speak, because she knew she’d cry, but as she looked into his eyes she saw so much carnal promise in them as she felt his lips graze her ear.
“That run was for you, Mia,” he whispered. “All for you.”

G
rowing up, L.V. Lewis wanted to be an internationally known rock star, but unfortunately, lived in the wrong part of the country to pursue that career (and neither American Idol nor The Voice were available then). An early love for the written word gave her the plan B she sought. Now she pens romance novels that let her live vicariously through rock stars, Olympic athletes, witches and other fascinating archetypes she’s fortunate enough to create.

IFTY SHADES OF GREY to the second power meets Keisha and Jada from the Block.
If you’ve wondered how an ethnic girl from the hood might’ve handled an arrangement with an experienced white Dominant, this is your book. If you’d like to see the sexiest TWIN DOMS in a contemporary romance series in interracial relationships, this is most definitely your book.
Aspiring recording studio owners, Keisha Beale and Jada Jameson, score a rare meeting with venture capitalist Tristan White and are thrust into a world beyond their wildest imaginations.
Street-wise Keisha is startled to realize she wants this rich white man, despite the certainty that he is out of her league. Unable to resist Keisha’s sassy, irreverent, and fiercely independent spirit, Tristan knew from day one he wanted her, too—as his first African American submissive.
Upper Class Jada of the Springfield Jamesons has traveled in almost the same circles as the White brothers, and has had a secret crush on Nathan White, the point guard for the Chicago Bulls, for quite some time.
Both brothers have succumbed to jungle fever and want a little coffee in their cream.
Lured by Tristan White and his offer of fronting the capital for her business in exchange for kinky sex, Keisha finds herself with no other option. Keisha is also tortured by a demons from her past, and her inability to come to terms with them threatens to undermine the future of her business and her tumultuous, unconventional relationship with Tristan White.
Erotic, amusing, and in places hilarious, the Ghetto Girl Erotica Trilogy is a parody with a unique take on a Fifty Shades-type story that will take you even further into the BDSM world, and promises to make the vanilla original Fifty Shades Blacker.

he Highly Anticipated Follow-up in the Ghetto Girl Romance Quadrilogy!
Ex*it Strat*e*gy (noun) 1. A preplanned means of extricating oneself from a situation that is likely to become difficult or unpleasant. 2. The method by which a venture capitalist or business owner intends to get out of an investment that he or she has made in the past.
Will Keisha and Tristan exercise their elaborate EXIT STRATEGY and end their unorthodox arrangement?
Assailed by demons she thought she had conquered, Keisha Beale has uttered the words to end her tumultuous relationship with Tristan White. Separated, they grapple for a time with their personal demons. However, when their lives apart become unbearable, a credible threat brings them back together prematurely.
As they seek to discover who is responsible for the threats, several seemingly unrelated incidents throw them into a tailspin. Will Keisha’s youthful indiscretions or Tristan’s un-reconciled feelings for an ex derail their tenuous arrangement?
In the meantime, trouble in Nathan and Jada’s paradise send dramatic ripples that hint of future difficulties in the idyllic pairing.
Nothing Ventured...
Tristan uses his vast wealth and connections to correct a gross miscarriage of justice, while Keisha makes herself utterly vulnerable to Tristan and fears he has chosen to exercise his own exit strategy.
...Nothing Gained!
Will this be the end of the indecent proposal that became a fairy tale? Or will Keisha and Tristan reveal the trauma from their pasts so they may heal and completely embrace their relationship?
Sensual, suspenseful, and still infused with the riotous levity of Triple-G and Fairy Hoochie Mama, the Ghetto Girl Romance Quadrilogy departs from full parody with a distinctive take on love, loyalty, sacrifice, redemption, and acceptance.
