The burst of muffled
laughter made Seth frown, and he looked back into Dom’s face.
“You’re kidding, right?”
Dom asked.
“Go on, laugh.” Seth wrapped
his arms on his chest. “Is that really so funny? Being so scared you’d be found
out that you can’t even watch porn on the Internet? Everything was fucking
monitored in that house.”
Domenico was quiet for
such a long time that Seth had to swallow his pride and look up at him, just to
see a small smile spreading on the handsome face. “Shame I didn’t know.”
“Oh God, if I’d known
back then and saw you, I’d have fucked your brains out.” Seth bit his lip,
pushing the thought of being half-brothers out the window.
Domenico grinned at him
like an idiot. “Yeah, that would have probably happened.”
Seth smiled back, happy
to be the cause of such a sincere reaction. “Man, I was so clueless about anal.
I had to research everything when I came to the US.”
“Oh, I’ve been taught in
practice all about it.” Dom’s amber eyes twinkled at him.
“Oh yeah? How old were
you when you started?” Seth inched closer and kissed him, reveling in the fact
that he could. No one could tell him not to, and Dom wouldn’t push him away.
“Fourteen.” Dom sighed.
“And he was seventeen.”
“Oh wow. I was rotting
away at that age.”
Domenico let out a sharp
breath. “I imagine being a fourteen-year-old Seth Villani was miles away from
being a fourteen-year-old Domenico Acerbi.”
“Yep. You were free from
me and wasn’t watched as carefully.”
“True, nobody cared but
my mother. And she wanted me to obey the Don, so I did.”
“How did you meet your
first?” Seth laid on his side and pulled Dom’s T-shirt up again, just so he
could stroke his stomach.
“Training.” Domenico
shrugged, watching the darkening sky above them. “We kept drinking wine in the
vineyard, talking all the time, and it always ended up with us making love.”
Seth kissed his cheek.
“Aww, ‘making love’. Little Mimmo was romantic.”
“Fuck you,” chuckled
Domenico. “Did you go at it like a rabbit right away?”
“Nah, I had an awkward
encounter in a darkroom. As far away from romantic as you can get.” Seth
stroked Dom’s stomach.
“Shame on you. I liked
doing it in the vineyard.”
“Who wouldn’t?”
Domenico sighed and
patted Seth’s chest. “At least you now have the German woods to remember.”
Seth laughed and put a
hand over his face. “Daddy wouldn’t be proud. Two sons and both fags.”
“He’s not my father.”
The sudden fall of Domenico’s voice was like a bucket of cold water.
Seth quickly looked at
him through his fingers. “I know it’s crappy, but it is what it is.”
“No, it’s not. He was
never more than a sperm donor.” Domenico’s nostrils flared. “He made himself
clear about this years ago.”
Seth swallowed, never
stopping to pet Dom. “Uhm, I’m sorry. He kind of pushed you away because of
the
thing
, didn’t he? I didn’t even know all these years.”
“Pushed me away?”
Domenico frowned, tensing under the touch. “He fucking shot me, beat me and
locked me away for a month.”
Seth’s breath caught in
his throat. “That’s… oh my God, that’s so horrible. You were fucking
eleven
.
He shot you?”
Domenico pursed his
lips, looking at everything but at Seth. “Yes.”
“Where did he shoot
you?” Seth put his hands on Dom’s cheeks to make Dom look at him. Domenico’s
skin grew hotter within seconds and on his fingers, Seth could feel his
laborious breathing.
“Just here.” Dom patted
his left shoulder. “He didn’t call a doctor for several hours. Maybe that’s why
it’s so ugly at the back.”
Seth looked into Dom’s
eyes, feeling like a moron for all the things he didn’t know. He had never been
close with his father, Mother always seemed to find a way to keep Seth safe,
deaf, and blind to what happened around him. He slowly pushed Dom’s T-shirt
farther up. “I want to see,” he whispered.
Domenico bit his lip,
but nodded and sat up, pulling the shirt over his head. “But I can still
perfectly use the hand,” he said as if it was any kind of redemption.
Seth moved closer and
sat next to him. “Your hands are steadier than mine, and I have never been
shot,” he agreed and bowed to kiss the scar on Dom’s shoulder. The back of
Domenico's shoulder really was far from pretty, with an uneven mound of flesh
where the bullet left the body. Who would have known. Domenico Acerbi wasn’t
just a killing machine and a sex demon, but a breathing, bleeding man as well.
“I am strong. Never got
a wound infected.”
Seth moved in front of
Dom and sat with his legs wrapped around the other man’s hips. “What about this
one?” He pointed to a scar on Dom’s side, under the ribs.
“Knife. Barely got out
alive.” Domenico grinned as if it was a funny story, and Seth smiled back,
tracing the scar with his fingertips. He couldn’t help but be fascinated.
Domenico was the human equivalent of his motorbike. Fast and dangerous, yet
impossible to resist taking a ride on, even at the risk of getting hurt.
Seth only took a moment
to tuck his dick back into his pants and pointed to a scar above Dom’s navel.
It was broad and irregular, as if something ripped the skin to pieces before it
was sewn back into place. “This one?”
Domenico glanced at it
and pulled in his belly. “Those are burns. I was tortured for information, but
I didn’t tell them a thing,” Dom said with a generous helping of pride.
Seth licked his lips,
wanting to say something, but in the end, he leaned forward with an animalistic
growl and crushed Dom’s lips with his. He wrapped his arms around Dom’s neck
and tipped them over to the ground with his weight.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
He
was drawn to Dom like a feline to catnip and couldn’t get enough. “Of course
you didn’t,” he whispered in the end, against Dom’s lips.
“Fucking snitch blew my
cover, but he didn’t last long after that.” Domenico’s whisper burned Seth’s
skin, making him want to hump his way to orgasm, even though he’d just come.
Seth smiled into another
kiss. “I want to be Domenico Acerbi when I grow up.” He tightened his embrace,
loving all of Dom’s tight muscle.
“One needs to strive for
greatness.” Dom petted Seth’s head.
Seth laughed. “Fucker!
You were supposed to say: ‘No, Seth, you’re great just the way you are’.”
“I don’t know you well
enough.” He poked Seth in the ribs and let out a content groan.
For a moment Seth was
speechless and taken aback. It was true. It was him who was getting in way over
his head. “Maybe you need to see one of my scars then?” He tried to turn it
around and pulled away to show the long scar on his forearm where Dom had cut
him as a child. “This one kid tried to stab me for putting him in a trashcan.”
The handsome face
relaxed. “It wasn’t because of the trashcan. I was jealous.”
“Of me?” Seth raised his
eyebrows.
Dom sighed, looking
between the trees. “I think I thought Father would start talking to me if you
weren’t around.”
Well, that didn’t turn
out so well, did it?
Seth thought, but
kept it to himself. “I suppose we’re even then, because now I’m jealous of
you.”
“What are you jealous
of?”
Seth sighed and put his
chin on Dom’s shoulder to avoid looking into his eyes. “You know how to get
shit done.”
A gentle pat on his arm
was just the encouragement he needed. “We’ll work on that.”
“I’ve made something. I
was planning to keep it for myself, but I suppose I could share…” Seth kissed
Dom's ear and put a loose strand of hair behind it.
Domenico’s eyes lit up.
“You have food?”
“I do.” Seth leaned away
to his backpack. “Are you hungry?” he asked, though the answer was obvious.
“You got me tired.”
Domenico snuggled his face into the crook of Seth’s neck.
“You were the one who
wanted a blow job.” Seth grinned and sat on the grass, pulling out the cooled
down frittata.
“I’m not complaining.”
Seth felt Dom’s body
against his back, chin hooked over Seth’s shoulder.
Feeding Dom was
partially an egotistical act, as Seth wanted to hear compliments on his creation.
He smiled and put a piece of frittata against Dom’s lips. His stomach fluttered
when Domenico swallowed it with a pleased groan, sucking on Seth’s fingers.
Seth leaned back and rubbed his cheek against Dom’s.
“Good?”
“My mother would love
this.” Domenico grinned and accepted more food.
Being able to cook for
someone was different than just messing about with recipes. Seth wanted someone
to acknowledge how good he was at it. “Wait till you try my lemon cupcakes.”
“We’ll see to it once we
get a new apartment,” said Domenico with his mouth full. “I’ll make sure it has
a well-equipped kitchen.”
It was a test, and Dom
passed. Seth was afraid Dom would laugh at his excitement over things so much
less serious than guns and Family politics, so he couldn’t help but grin at his
words. He got more frittata for Dom and had some as well.
“After we’re done, I
think you will be ready for a more advanced exercise.”
Seth gave a long sigh of
discontent. “Can’t we just call it a day?”
“You can’t waste time
resting.” This time, there was no humor in Domenico’s voice. “What if I gave
you a prize for good performance?”
Seth straightened his
back with a spark of interest. A carrot sounded better than the constant stick
he was getting.
“What reward do you want
to get?” Domenico scratched his head, unconsciously loosening his ponytail.
Seth smiled at how messy it was anyway after what they’ve done.
The answer was so easy,
Seth didn’t even hesitate. “I wanna fuck you. Wanna nail you to the bed and see
you squirm,” he whispered, leaning his head back to Dom’s shoulder. Holding his
breath, he watched Domenico’s brows rise.
“Deal.”
Seth smiled so widely,
the grin was about to break his face in half. He sprang up to his feet and
closed his fly. “Yes! So what’s the challenge?”
Domenico rose to his
feet slowly, like a sated tiger and yawned. “You’ll run from me through the
woods. If I don’t get you with a paintball till dawn, you win.”
Seth pulled in his
bottom lip and frowned. Being shot at, even with a paint bullet, didn’t sound
all that good. He swallowed and nodded though. He could do this.
“Deal.” He grabbed his
backpack from the ground and without any fussing about, he was off.
Domenico’s voice stopped
him halfway to the trees. “Seth, not yet.”
“No?” He turned around,
eager to win Dom’s ass. It always looked so good he wanted to bite into it.
Domenico was already
halfway to the car. “I need to show you something first.”
“Yeah?” Seth looked at
the forest, but then started walking back to Dom. He felt like the situation
was prolonging his misery. His foot froze over the ground when Dom emerged
holding a shotgun. It didn’t look like a paintball gun.
“That’s real!” Seth took
a few steps back.
“No.” Domenico looked at
it with a small smile. “Don’t worry, I won’t kill you.”
“It’s not funny, you
jerk!” He tensed up when Domenico turn the safety off the gun. “You said we’re
not starting yet!” Seth yelled at him and took another few steps back.
“Relax, I’m not trying
to cheat. Have you ever played paintball?”
“No.”
“Stand still then. You
need to know what you’re running from.” Domenico frowned at the gun and raised
it for a shot.
“No!” Seth squealed, and
his eyes went wide, but it was too late. A spray of red splatter to his cheek
came even before his mind registered the crippling pain in his shoulder.
The strength of the shot
made him stagger back. “Motherfucker!”
The next two weeks
passed in relative peace, though Seth would risk saying that it was almost “nice”.
Dom didn’t push for anal so that took off some of the pressure as Seth’s poor,
sore ass healed. They did get to fool around though, since, as they say, a blow
job a day keeps the doctor away. They watched Vera at all sorts of different
times, at her home, at university, when she went to a nightclub. At other
times, they worked on Seth’s combat skills and did a lot of target practice.
Oh, and Seth didn’t get to nail Dom’s ass. What he did get though, was a whole
set of painful bruises from the paintballs. It wasn’t a satisfactory outcome.
And since watching Vera,
training, and sinning in a bed too small for two grown men, didn’t fill up all
their time, they also went out a few times. Once, to a nearby cinema. Seth
complained about the
Twilight
movie marathon, but when he realized Dom had
no idea what
Twilight
was, he couldn’t help but drag him out there.
Domenico was unimpressed in general and just listening to his comments was more
fun than Seth could bargain for. In the last movie though, Dom complained so
loudly about the childbirth scene that they were asked to leave the cinema. Oh
well, at least Dom got a taste of pop culture.
In return, Seth obliged
to go see an opera by Puccini. Yet another part of “their heritage” Dom kept
raving about. But before they could go, Domenico forced Seth to shop for a suit
at Armani’s. It felt stifling to wear, but seeing Dom so happy to pay over a
thousand Euros for it was priceless. He had that ‘look-at-me I’ve-got-money’
attitude about him. A proper
nouveau riche.
In combination with his
pig-like table manners at home, it was a sight to behold. But at the opera, in
a restaurant, Dom was walking, talking class. Seth actually wondered if Dom
just considered it another acting assignment, but he didn’t seem to fake-like
opera. He talked lively about it in between the acts and even chose one that
Seth didn’t hate. The storyline was quite bloody and left Seth thoughtful that
day.
Even though they watched
Vera at different times, there was an unofficial routine when it came to food.
Seth would usually make a simple breakfast, and they’d eat and get ready for
whatever Dom had planned for the day. For lunch or dinner, they always went to
a different Italian restaurant, since there were many to choose from in Berlin.
Some were average, some good, but in one of them Seth had the best sardines he
had ever tasted. He also liked having meals, as it was always relaxing to talk
about food and learn some tiny details about Dom. It was like having quick
peeks behind a thick dark curtain.
Even the few fights they
had were nothing major. Just silly things like Seth touching Dom’s guns without
permission, or Dom insisting to pay for both of them each time, as if Seth were
his lady friend. Seth putting spicy curry powder into Dom’s omelet, and then
Dom pointing a gun at him for it. Seth not cleaning their weapons while
claiming that he did, or Dom throwing out all their dishes instead of washing
them when it was his turn.
Minor things, forgotten
as soon as both of them were overtaken by passion and tumbled into bed. Or the
floor. Or—on one occasion—the stairs. Being with Dom was like being in heat.
Seth couldn’t help himself, arousal always on the tip of his tongue, waiting to
be coaxed out. At one point Dom fucked Seth’s thighs, and it was so
overwhelming to be under him that Seth almost asked him to slide in his dick.
But before he could make up his mind, afraid it would hurt and embarrassed of
what Dom would think of him, Dom came and the moment was gone.
Exploring Berlin without
Domenico wasn’t as nice as when Seth had him by his side. There he was, sitting
on a neat bench under a tree, protected from the intense September sun by the
glass buildings above him, and he kept thinking about the bastard. With Vera
Salieri chatting to her two girlfriends over steaming bowls of pasta in a
modern restaurant nearby, he treated himself to an iced coffee as he watched
tourists and locals walk past him in an endless stream that was an everyday
occurrence in Potsdamer Platz.
Just looking at the big
brand clothes on the rat made Seth’s gut twist, but during the last two weeks,
he’d managed to control the urge to strangle her to death. It wouldn’t be
practical if they were to watch her, though to tell the truth, there wasn’t
much to watch. Salieri didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, except for not
going to work despite having expensive taste. It made him sick to think that he
had been the job to sponsor her extravagant lifestyle.
It took a moment for him
to realize that the buzz accompanying his fantasies of smashing Vera Salieri’s post-op
nose with a saucepan didn’t originate in his mind. The source of the noise
entered his vision like a black viper and captured all of his attention in a
split second. The rider wore a body suit so black it seemed to suck in the
light as he dismounted his sleek motorcycle in a move so graceful it reminded
Seth of Domenico. But then again, the man looked nothing like the sharp edges
of Dom’s body. For a short moment, Seth wasn’t even sure if he was looking at a
man or a woman, but the male gender became clear when the rider took off his
helmet.
Seth leaned back on the
bench and enjoyed the view. Tight ass in leather and wider shoulders created a
perfect V-shaped back. A part of him, the smooth pale skin and perfect lips,
reminded Seth of Peter, but then again, Peter was all bones and campiness while
this guy looked as though there was muscle in that smaller frame. Before Seth
could inhale again, the biker was off to a newsagent, and when Seth’s gaze
followed the line of his body and descended all the way to the narrow hips, the
pull to follow was like a leash on Seth’s neck.
Would the guy speak
English? He seemed pretty young so it was probable. Whatever would happen, at
least Seth was happy for some variety in this, so far, boring day. He slid to
the other side of the bench to ogle both the rider and the bike. The machine
reminded Seth of his own Suzuki, which was rotting away in Peter’s garage in
New York City. Seth tried to lean forward to see more of the man in leather,
whose face was hidden by a stand with postcards of Berlin and a figurine of a
standing bear.
He had short spiky hair,
the perfect frame for such a well-chiseled face. And even though the guy
probably barely scraped eighteen, there was something about him that drew Seth
like a moth to the flame. He had one of those faces that struck you so hard you
couldn’t make yourself look away. Now that Seth could see the man from the
side, he could take in the beautiful legs, strong and graceful like a dancer’s.
Seth downed the rest of
his coffee and threw the cup into the trash. He looked around once more, to
make sure Dom wasn’t coming, and got up from the bench. The bike would be a
great conversation starter if the guy spoke English. The Kevlar plates on the
driver's back made him look like some kind of futuristic outlaw, who would
travel through wastelands and work as a gun for hire. The whole outfit seemed
like something you could kill zombies in.
Heat stirred in Seth’s
throat when the stranger walked out into the sun and made his way to the black
machine with sharp white highlights that only added to the impression of its
capability to reach lightning-speed.
Seth gave the guy a
smile and searched his mind for any German words he knew. “
Schön
,” was
all he could come up with as the equivalent of ‘nice’. He’d add ‘bike’ but had
no idea how so he just pointed to the motorcycle. He wouldn’t be able to say
the word even if he suddenly remembered it because when the stranger looked
straight at him, Seth was sucked into the bottomless pit of his black eyes.
They seemed almost matte, as if light strayed from them out of fear of being
sucked in. But before Seth could as much as feel uneasy, that beautiful,
sharply-cut mouth spread into a wide, toothy smile.
“Do you speak English?”
asked the biker in an accent that could not be German.
Seth exhaled loudly and
grinned back, already feeling more at ease with a fellow alien in the German
capital. “God, yes!” He stroked the seat of the bike in a way he wanted to
stroke the guy’s ass. He couldn’t deny himself a bit of moto-molestation if he
couldn’t touch what he really wanted to. His breath caught when the driver
followed the move of his hand only to raise two straight eyebrows, as if in a
challenge.
“It’s mine.”
“I know.” Seth smirked
and ran his fingertips along the leather. “Where are you from?”
The dark eyes narrowed,
but it didn’t affect the wide smile. “Rome. How about you?” asked the driver,
fluently switching to Italian. He moved his hand and rested it on the seat, so
close to Seth’s fingers it made them tingle. Oh God, Seth hoped the guy was
legal. What was the age of consent in Germany anyway? He bet Dom knew, even if
he didn’t care.
“Sicily. A small town,
you wouldn’t know it. What are the odds, right?” Seth’s smile widened, and he
tried to hypnotize the guy with his own gaze, but the flat stare betrayed
nothing. At least until it shifted lower, and Seth realized the guy was
watching his mouth, which only prompted him to talk.
“I’m Seth by the way.”
He held out his hand over the bike. “I’m here in Berlin on my own, and I’m
bored out of my mind. You know any good places to eat or something? I don’t
speak German so it’s hard for me to find entertainment. What’s up with the
dubbing on TV, right?”
“Are you gay?” asked the
driver, but it wasn’t malicious, just a straight-to-the-point question of a man
in need of information.
Seth hesitated and
licked his upper lip. “Uh, yeah,” he said in the end. “Sorry if I made you
uncomfortable.”
“I’m free for the
evening,” said the man, slowly leaning forward, and in the same moment, soft
leather trailed up Seth’s hand on the motorcycle seat.
Goosebumps bristled all
the hairs on Seth’s forearms, and he mirrored the guy’s body language with his
heart picking up its pace by the second. “I’m in a hostel, I’ve got an annoying
roommate. You have a place?” He inhaled the scent of leather, fantasizing on
how he could put his hands on those sharp cheekbones, slide them to the spiky
hair. Maybe take a shower together?
The driver nodded and
put on the helmet. Seth stared, suddenly realizing those perfectly black eyes
matched the matte plastic. His heart skipped a beat, and he looked back to Vera
Salieri, the woman who deserved to have her little finger cut off with a spoon,
and he realized he didn’t care. He would go with the handsome stranger and have
some fun for once. Real fun without Dom putting him down all the time. With a
normal hot guy, who just had to be legal. Otherwise, the world would be too
cruel.
Seth wanted to say
something more, but he decided asking the guy for his name could wait. When the
stranger pointed to the seat behind him, Seth eagerly took the invitation. He
just hoped the police wouldn’t stop him for the lack of a helmet. Fuck the
rules. Seth wrapped his arms around the surprisingly small waist. It had to be hanging
around Dom that made him notice the difference.
“Hold on tight,” said
the guy and pushed Seth’s hands harder against his chest before kicking back
the support stand.
That was an order Seth
was happy to comply with. He couldn’t help a silly grin when he squeezed his
groin against the driver’s ass. He would fuck him in that suit. Maybe the
helmet even? As soon as they got to the room, wherever it was, Seth would have
him wear that helmet and just pull his pants down for a nice, long fuck.
As they rode through the
city, Seth was progressively lost in the scent of leather and the muted aroma
that had to be the guy’s own. So addictive. If it weren’t weird, he’d gladly
press his nose beneath the back of the helmet and take it all in. As much as he
enjoyed the wind in his hair, the speed, the power of the machine between his
thighs, the handsome driver, his unbelievably sensuous body and odd but
beautiful face occupied Seth’s whole brainpower.
And he didn’t even have
to try God-knows-what to hook up. They’d spend a few relaxing hours together,
and Dom wouldn’t even know. He hugged the stranger tightly with his eyes
closed. As he inhaled the leathery smell, his mind subconsciously drifted to
Dom and the fresh scent of his hair. He didn’t want to compare two men who were
clearly so different, but he thought about the biker’s eyes again. Looking into
them was like gazing into twin black holes that pulled you in. Looking into
Dom’s was like being naked, like Dom could see into Seth’s soul and prey on it.
They drove into an
underground parking lot, and the moment the helmet was off, Seth could gaze
into pure blackness again. The driver stepped closer, broke Seth’s personal
space, and pulled him into a kiss so forceful and confident that it denied the
existence of pre-set boundaries between two people. Seth was breathless, but
reciprocated, trying to find his ground in a kiss that didn’t belong on the
lips of a teenager. A teenager so much shorter than him at that. He slid his
hands over the sides of the biker’s body and to his ass. A groan of
satisfaction joined the kiss as Seth squeezed the man’s buttocks.
The biker pushed on his
chest, biting his lip with a grin so wide Seth found it a bit out of place in
this situation.
