Joseph Staten is the Writing Director for Bungie Studios where he helped create
Halo®: Combat Evolved, Halo® 2
and
Halo® 3.
A graduate of Northwestern University’s Theater Department and the University of Chicago’s Committee on International Relations, Staten worked as an English teacher in Japan and helped tend grapes on his family’s Northern California vineyard before joining Bungie Studios in 1998. He currently lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
