“Hunter! Stop!” I yelled at him and he tilted his head and smiled, exposing his teeth.

“I am going to enjoy this,” he said as he grabbed at my panties and I screamed and then it dawned on me. I relaxed and looked at him as he leaned forward getting ready to shove himself into me.

“Hunter…I… I love you,” I said and he stopped and looked at me, his face relaxed and he stared at my lips and them my eyes.

“You love me?” He said as he leaned back slightly and loosened his grip. I slowly rose up, the blood dripping from my back and the numerous cuts and he sniffed the air as he smelled me. I touched his face and he closed his eyes as I watched his face relax and reached over to a stray piece of glass. He opened his eyes and smiled at me.

“I wanted to hear that, for a long, long, time Vanessa. I love you, I have always loved you and wanted to be with you but the hunger makes it hard to focus on such things.”

“I know Hunter,” I whispered as I leaned up to him and hugged him. I then raised the sharp piece of glass behind him and blinked a few times as he whispered my name and held me. I slammed it towards me and deep into the back of his neck, pressing as hard as I could and he screamed out, causing my ears and eyes to start bleeding for the sheer volume of it. He stumbled back and I lunged on him, knocked him and pressed against him, forcing the glass to make its way all the way through and cutting through the front of his neck. I then grabbed it as he gurgled on his own blood and pulled it through. He kicked his feet and thrashed as I stood up and then I dropped onto him and sawed the glass back and forth until I removed his head. I coughed and grimaced as I stood up and dropped the glass, blood dripping from my hands thick and dark. I kicked his head away from his body just in case some sci-fi bullshit thing might happen like spidery pieces of flesh popping out and snapping his head back in place, but no. He just laid there still and his head did nothing, but the mouth was moving, so I walked up to it, knelt down and tilted my head. I placed my ear to his lips and heard it.

“Vanessa…” all drawn out and creepy. I stood up and shook my head, ran to my kitchen, grabbed a garbage bag and wrapped it up tight, along with the body and the man in the tub. I stood in my shower and let the blood roll off of me and down the drain and then decided to get rid of everything, including the apartment. In fact, it’s time to move, time to be someone new altogether.

I stood there with bodies wrapped in black plastic and duct tape binding them and a knock came to the door and I freaked for a moment as my stomach once again did something new, it sent a sharp pain up my spine and it connected with my brain this time causing me to fall on my knees and spit up yet more thick blood. I shook my head and stumbled to my feet as I looked down and had to take a second take at something in the blood. I lowered to my knee and placed my hand in the mess and moved the thick blood and flesh around and felt something hard. I pulled it out and wiped it on my leg and then turned it over in my hand and dropped it to the floor as I realized it was the necklace Rachel was wearing. I backed up shaking my head and tried to steady myself. “I did not kill her, I killed no one, it was Hunter.”

“You so sure?”

I turned and screamed as Hunter stood there, cracking his neck from side to side and blinking a few times.

“What the fuck?” I yelled at him as I backed up and fell over the man from my tub.

“Vanessa, I am sorry about before…you will find that hunger can be a bitch and make you act a fool, not unlike you did with Rachel and Zack. You know I forgave you for Zack, shame though, he could suck a mean dick…but anyway, you got a bit crazy there and I brought you home and you snatched up the doorman and once again you just bitched out…messy really, but after that you slept.”

As he spoke I stumbled and saw it all, Rachel holding her hands up to me, Zack screaming on his back, the doorman in my tub as I ripped through his throat. I looked at Hunter and started to cry, it streaked through the bloodstains on my face.

“Vanessa, do you love me? If so allow me to show you how to control it, it is not always possible but mostly…minus a few slip ups.”

“Slip ups?” I screamed at him.

“Yes, it happens.”

“I killed people, I killed Rachel and Zack and the doorman, and then you…but you deserve it you rapist fuck!”

Hunter shook his head and stepped towards me.

“You cannot rape the willing Vanessa.”

I laughed.

“Seriously? That is your excuse for trying?”

“I would have never.”

“You were going to!”

“I would not! Did I? Or did you cut my head off?”

“I…”

The knock came again and I bent over, clutching at my stomach as another sharp pain rocked through me. Hunter shook his head and started to walk towards the door.

“You need to eat,” he said. “In fact I do too, I apologize for the whatever that was…” he said as he waved his hand at the glass on my floor.

“I…I am not a monster Hunter,” I said and Hunter stopped and turned back to me just before he whipped the door open, snatched the woman standing there with a binder in her hands and she dropped it and it slid across the floor towards me as I glanced up, with blurred vision and Hunter held her by the throat above the floor. I took a breath and tried to stand up straight and she made a noise, something gurgled as Hunter tightened his grip.

“Come,” He said as he held his free hand out to me and I started to walk, slowly at first and then quicker as my teeth ached, as well as my stomach and I coughed and whipped some dark thick blood from my lips. I stopped and tilted my head as Hunter grinned at me.

“You know I love you Vanessa and now you are just like me, pills will not work any longer. You have all of my disease in you, but honestly I see it as blessing, with a slight inconvenience.” He looked at the woman whose eyes started to roll in her head and her arms fell at sides. He lowered her to the floor and I looked at her and then fell to one knee as Hunter lowered too and pulled my hair back as I leaned forward. The woman moaned and moved her head slightly and then I looked at Hunter.

“I hate you,” I whispered and he touched my face.

“Accept,” he said and his words calmed me, not unlike they had over a hundred years prior when he had stolen my virtue and my life.

I lunged at the woman’s throat and tore it open with my teeth, sharpened like razors. I sucked as the heartbeat filled my mouth and made my body hum and my pussy become wet. Hunter moved behind me and with a quick thrust he was inside of me, fucking me slowly at first, with hard jerks and then he moved faster and faster as I swallowed the warm blood and as the heart started to fade, I leaned up, drunk on blood dripping from my lips and screamed out his name as he came inside of me and the intensity if the orgasm rocked through me.

I dropped to the floor, rolled onto my back and Hunter laid on top of me, pulling my legs up and shoving himself into my ass with no remorse. I hissed and tried to catch my breath but my heart slowed, one beat at a time and my breath left me as he fucked me harder and harder until the true death came and my heart stopped beating in my chest. He shuddered on top of me as his cock twitched inside of my ass and I blinked a few times as a new vision came into view… a new world to me, one filled with nothing but pleasure and one smell, one noise filling my head… that of blood and a million beating hearts ready to be eaten.
