“Nothing too weird. Or wicked. Although, wicked would have been nice.”

“You’re a bad girl.”

“On a good day,” she smiled, enjoying the ease in which they could converse about something kind of bizarre.

“I think I sleepwalk almost every night,” he said so softly she could barely hear him.

“My father once tried to mow the lawn in his birthday suit.” She smiled at the memory.

“You’re kidding.” He whipped his head in her direction, shock etched in his intense eyes.

“You’re not the only person to ever wander around, dazed and confused. After that incident, my mother put a bell over their bedroom door so she’d wake up before dad scared all the neighbors.” She chuckled. “Even my brothers talk in their sleep. Growing up they’d fight and yell at each other from different rooms. I’m a really light sleeper because of it.”

“What about you?” His facial features softened as he rose and reached his hand out to her. “Do you talk in your sleep?”

“Not too sure. My mother said she thought I might have a few times, but it was hard to be heard over five brothers, even awake. My ex-husband never said anything.”

“You were married?” Chad rubbed his thumb on her sensitive inner wrist.

“Well, on paper. But he was never home.”

“What about college roommates? They ever hear you talk?”

“I went to an Art school near home. I didn’t move out until I got married. Now I live alone.” She laced her fingers through his.

“I live alone, too, which isn’t smart, considering my problem.” Chad had managed to close the gap between them until only a few inches separated them, then he pulled her tight against his firm chest and wrapped his strong arms around her waist. She had no choice but to rest her hands on his shoulders. Not that she minded.

“What problem?” she asked.

“You know?” He rolled his eyes and nodded toward the door.

“You think walking in your sleep is a problem?”

He shrugged. “It can be when you walk into the girl’s shower in college and no one believes you’re asleep. Or climb into bed with the wrong sister.”

“You didn’t?” She giggled, and then nuzzled her lips against his neck, trying to stifle her chuckles. “I’m sorry.” She looked at him. “I suppose that’s not funny.”

“Just don’t let me fall asleep again tonight, okay?”

“Are you propositioning me?” She rose up on tiptoe, pressing her stomach against his hard cock. “Oh, I guess you are.” She smiled, then shoved him to the bed.

Chapter Five

Angie’s heart thumped behind her ribcage and echoed in her ears. Warmth spread from her nipples to her clit like hot syrup being drizzled across her skin. A combination of fear and desire swept through her like a raging river. She’d never been big on one-night stands. Her ex-husband had enough of those to last her a lifetime. But this wasn’t about him. It was about her and it was time she took charge of her own life.

Chad scooted back on the bed, fluffing a few pillows and smiled at her with desire so hot it ignited a fire between her legs. He clasped his hands behind his head. His muscles twitched ever so slightly. She watched his chest rise and fall, putting her in a trance-like state.

“Have you ever been on the other side of the camera?” he asked.

“Not really.” She stood there for a moment, debating on what to do next. “Before this goes any farther, I just want to say thank you.”

“For what?”

“Everything.” She rolled her pants down her hips and thighs and stepped out of them. She stood before him in the tiniest thong she’d ever bought and a see-through camisole.

Chad hissed through his lips and rolled to his knees. “You’re beautiful.” He waggled his index finger in a come-hither motion. When she reached for her top, lifting it to reveal her belly button ring, he shook his head. “No. Not yet.”

“Okay.”

“Come here.”

She knelt on the bed. Her muscles weak in anticipation of his touch, caress, and tender kisses. Something about him made her insides purr like a kitten. “Kiss me.”

He raised his brows playfully. “I intend to.” His fingers toyed with the hem of her shirt while his thumbs rubbed gently against her skin. Goosebumps shivered across her body. “Let’s get rid of this,” he mused, lifting the cotton up over her head. Her hair fluttered about her face, but he smoothed it away.

“Thought you wanted to wait?”

“Nah. I just wanted to remove it myself.”

“Then take it off me.”

His lips hovered next to her ear, his hot breath tickling the inside. “Amazing.”

The intense heat pouring from his body to hers nearly burned her skin. She shifted back a bit. “Touch me.” She cupped his face and stared at his full lips.

“I will.”

The intensity of his eyes kept her captivated while his fingers toyed with her nipple. Pinching. Tugging. Sending shock waves down her belly. “More.” Her body trembled from the inside.

“Cold?” he asked, gliding his tongue down her neck.

“God, no.” She guided his hand down her stomach. “Touch me here.”

“All in good time.” He lowered his mouth to her breast, sucking her nipple into his hot mouth.

“Please. I’m begging. Take off my top.”

Slowly, he lifted her top and pulled it over her head. A violent need to have him inside overtook her as she grabbed his hand and shoved it into her panties. “I’m on fire.”

“So you are.” He laid her down and shifted the cotton fabric down her legs, all the while planting kisses on her thighs, knees, and ankles. He knelt on the edge of the bed, lifting her legs over his shoulders.

“Oh, dear God.” She fisted the sheets in her hands. She looked down at him. His head nuzzled between her legs had to be the most erotic thing she’d ever seen.

“Oh, God.” She tightened every muscle in her body. She wanted to make it last, savor the moment, but when he rammed his fingers inside her while kissing her swollen nub she lost all control.

“Chad,” she whispered clutching at his hair. Her body quivered over and over again. She almost feared it wouldn’t stop. His tongue touched her intimately, and his fingers stroked her into shear madness.

Moments later, she took in a deep breath and cradled his head in her belly. His hands still roamed her body, tickling her skin, sending signals to the parts of her body that no longer demanded a rest. They demanded more. “My turn.”

“I’m all for taking turns.” He rolled onto his back. “Have your way with me, woman.” His erection pushed hard against the fabric of his underwear, causing a gap between the elastic and his supple skin.

Her erratic heart flurried into a near spasm. Holding her breath, sliding his underwear down, she stroked him with her hand. “What happened to my shy model?”

“First, I’m not a model,” he said behind a clenched jaw. “Second, I’m only shy when ... ah, Angie.”

“Yes,” she cooed, sliding his boxers to his ankles, brushing her lips across the tip and down the length of his hard cock.

“Look at me,” he said.

For a brief moment, time stood still and she thought she might have fallen in love. “I really like you,” she said, then brought him to her mouth.

“I like you, too.”

A flood of emotion swelled inside her head. A powerful need to please him engulfed her being. She was lost in his body, listening to his groans, feeling his muscles tense then relax with each touch and kiss. Every problem she had fizzled into the outer recesses of her mind. The only thing that mattered right now was Chad.

“Angie.” He gripped her wrist, yanking her hand away, then glided his hand to her neck, pulling her toward him. She reached for his dick, but he laced his fingers through hers. “Stop, or this...” he whispered between breaths, “will be over before it starts.”

“I want you inside me.” She leaned over and kissed his nipple as he tortured hers with his thumb and forefinger. “I need you, Chad.”

“Condom,” he mumbled.

“I do have one of those.”

“Thank God.”

She leapt from the bed. “No, thank Kirk.”

“Excuse me?”

She paused at the bathroom door. “He thought I might need one tonight, since he wouldn’t be.”

“That might kill the moment.”

She chuckled, then reached into her purse and snagged the condom. “I get honors.” She flung herself on the bed, ripped open the package, and rolled the rubber over him.

“My turn again,” he said.

“For what?”

“To drive you to the edge but not quite over.” He shoved her onto her back. This time he kissed her hard and wet. His tongue jaunted over her lips and into her mouth . His hands roamed her body, seeking and finding every erotic pressure point she had, even the ones she didn’t know existed. He didn’t let an inch of her body go without some kind of attention.

“Now,” she begged, trying to shove him on his back.

“Nah-uh.” He smiled like the devil and tugged her to her feet. He turned her to face the mirror. “Look at me,” he whispered in her ear.

She swallowed, gripping the dresser and stared at their reflection. Bodies beaded with perspiration. Hot passion filled both their expressions. Nothing in her life had ever been so exotic. So passionate. So real.

She felt him press against her, opening her wider until he slowly inched himself inside. “Oh, God.” Her eyes rolled.

“No, keep them open.” He moved inside her with slow, deliberate strokes. He cupped her breast, kissed her neck, and slid his hand down to her clit. His finger felt like a soft feather floating across her clit.

“Yes.” She covered his hand and showed him the motion as she grinded against him.

He rode her hard and fast,.then sweet and slow, each stroke more intense than the last.

“I can’t take it anymore.” Every nerve ending exploded with delight. The muscles in her stomach convulsed with extreme euphoria. “Now.”

With his head nuzzled in the crook of her neck, he rammed his cock deep inside her. He held her tight, whispering her name. His hands gently caressed her skin as the motion of his hips slowed.

“I like you a whole lot,” she said.

“I like you too.” He lifted her off the ground, carryied her to the bed, and pulled the covers over her naked body. “Wouldn’t want you to get cold.”

“Then get into this bed and keep me warm.”

“Scoot over.”

“Nah. I’d rather watch you walk to the other side of the bed.”

“Fine by me.” He strutted to the foot of the bed and flicked on the television. “Any requests?” .

“You’re not going to watch TV.”

“I’m sure as hell not going to sleep.” He climbed under the covers and pulled her close.

“Why the hell not?”

“I have to explain that one?”

She giggled. “The last time you walked in your sleep you got lucky. Consider this, it might happen again.”

He didn’t say anything, just kind of looked back at her, almost as if he were hurt or something. His forehead wrinkled like one of those ugly dogs that was so ugly it was cute. “In only a few hours, I’ll have to get up and catch a plane.”

Her heart nearly stopped beating. “What time is your flight? Mine’s around eleven.”

“Eleven-thirty.” He tucked her head back into his shoulder and turned down the television. “If it really bothers you, let me know and I’ll shut it off.”

“No.” She snuggled closer. “Just make sure I’m an awake by five thirty.” She felt his muscles tense. She patted his chest. “I’m really a light sleeper. If you get out of this bed, I’ll know it.”

“I love this movie. I should be fine.”

And with that, she closed her eyes tight. She hated herself for thinking this could be the one. The man who would change her life, rock her world. She pushed those thoughts away and let herself drift off to sleep. But she didn’t stay there long when she felt the bed shift.

She reached out, but Chad wasn’t next to her. “Come back to bed,” she whispered. He stood in front of the window with the curtains pulled back, hands on hips and beautifully naked. “Chad.” She whistled. “Over here.”

“I was looking for you.” He had that same washed over glaze to his eyes the last time she’d seem him up and about, but not really up.

“I bet you were.”

He climbed into bed and wrapped his arms around her, then kissed her temple. “Sweet Angie,” he whispered. “I think I’d like to like you more.”

She held her breath for a moment before speaking, “Are you awake?”

And then he snored.

She snuggled in and once again let her body drift of into a subconscious state, dreaming about being liked, maybe loved.

Chapter Six

Chad bolted up in bed, blinking his eyes and scanning the room. “What the…oh shit.” She wasn’t next to him, or in the room, and then he heard the water running. He glanced over the side of the bed and let out a sigh of relief when he saw her tiny thong still dangling from the chair’s armrest. At least he knew he was in her room.
