already. I figured when we headed out, you’d go back home—wherever
the hell that is.”

“Home’s near Philly but I’m not going back.
I’m staying with you. Unless you don’t want me?”

“F*** yeah,” I said pointing to my raging
hard-on. “But don’t you have a life to get back to?”

I watched the emotions slide across her face
as she rubbed the blue stone she wore around her neck.

“Nah, I’m between shit right now, and I
figured I’d see the country this way. I haven’t gotten around
much.”

Something about what she said didn’t seem
right, but when she reached for my cock, I stopped worrying about

“Uncle Mickey! You’re here. Uncle Hunter is
grounded and can’t play games with me before dinner and Uncle
Booker is talking with daddy about something,” Milo squealed.

“What about mommy, little man?”

“In the kitchen with Aunt Shelly, Mommy is
complaining about no coffee. I don’t know what she had; it smells
gross and tastes bad. So will ya?” He practically bounced up and
down with excitement.

“Sure, let me put this away and talk to daddy
and mommy for a minute then I can. How about you play a practice
round and then we can play, okay?”

“Awesome,” and like that he raced down the
hall to the game room. Mickey went into the kitchen to find Sky in
tears and Shelly consoling her.

“Ladies, oh, Sky honey, what’s wrong. Did
your big old husband mess up and you decide to come to me now?” he
joked. Sky’s eyes looked up at him and he couldn’t resist but bring
her into a hug.

“It’s nothing, damn hormones. But the doctor
said my blood pressure was rising and I need to try to stay calm or
I’m gonna be put on bed rest. I told him that’s not possible with
Milo, and you guys, but he didn’t listen. Said the band wasn’t as
important.” She sniffled again.

“Listen, Sky, I’m not an expert, but I think
the doctor knows what he is talking about. Maybe we should hire
someone to come help around the house until the babies are born,”
offered Shelly.

“Yeah, I could look into that, but who would
do that?”

“We can find a company, don’t worry,” Shelly
chimed in.

“Here are the pies and some éclairs. Oh and
Gabby said something about yoga being good for stress,” Mickey
stated.

“How is Gabby?” Suddenly the weeping Sky was
perking up.

“Good, I guess.”

“Really, then why are you blushing?” Shelly
pressed. “Oh my, she said something to you, didn’t she? You totally
like her, I knew it!”

“Not like that, well, she did say something,
you know.”

“What, she wants you just for sex or
something?” Sky joked, and suddenly he had to turn around and look
elsewhere.

“Oh my God, she does. She totally wants you
to rock her world but that’s it. Hell that should be a good thing,
Mickey,” Shelly said sweetly, but Sky was still laughing.

“What’s so funny?” The other guys came into
kitchen.

“Nothing” he grumbled.

“Oh wait until you hear this,” Sky
blurted.

“I’m gonna go play with Milo.” With that, he
left the room just as everyone burst out laughing. He wasn’t going
to live that down. But suddenly her number on the tiny piece of
paper felt like a ten-pound weight in his pocket now. No matter
what, he couldn’t start anything with her. Nope, he wasn’t. Heading
into the game room, he sat down on his normal seat and grabbed a
controller waiting for his turn.
