smile as I trace my fingers along her perfect heart with my fingertips.

She
loves me.  All of these weeks of drama had been worth it.   We
would go to college together, we would be roommates.  We had so much to
look forward to.  
So much more to grow.
 
With Alex by my side, anything was bearable.

I
can’t wipe the silly grin from my face as I dive back into my bed, the smell of
Alex enveloping me.
