I was staring at him blankly, I wasn’t sure that he was serious.  Then I saw Jorge’s face, he was beaming at me, and I knew it was true, he didn’t want me to leave, and he was offering the job to Ron and I.

Suddenly Ron had his arms around me and was gazing down into my eyes.

“What do you say, do you want to co host this show with me next season?” asked Ron, his sly smile was infectious.

“Do you want to do it?” I asked, I wasn’t sure that hosting this show was quite his style, or mine for that matter.

“Here’s my only condition.  I’ll only do it, if you do it,” said Ron.

“Okay, I’ll do it,” I said, nodding at him.

“Hey all right! cried Zach, excitedly.  I now pronounce the two of you co hosts, you may kiss the co host,” he told us with a smile.

Ron lifted me up in his arms and kissed me again.  I was so happy, I had waited so long for the show to be over so I could let him kiss me.  It was even better, now that he had word that his divorce was final.

In moments the crowd was surging around us again.  Usually being in a crowd like that totally freaked me out.  I would get claustrophobic and have a bit of a meltdown, but for some reason just having Ron’s arm around me was strangely comforting, I felt like I was safe for the first time in my life.  I plunged into the crowd and our sea of admirers fearlessly.  I’d been welcomed home to Hollywood with open arms!
