Read Looking Out for Lexy Online

They fell on the bed together as he pulled her legs around his body. He entered her as she exploded toward him, raking her fingernails across his back. He rode her smoothly and deliberately at first, watching her moan and cry out, trying to mold her body to his. She wailed his name as he began to ride her harder and faster. With a final thrust, he crushed her to him, with an exultant shout. Jack rolled her over on top of him, crushing her breasts to his chest. They didn’t speak for a few minutes, totally spent.
“If anyone would have told me a few years ago that I would meet you again and get married, I would have laughed in their face. You are everything to me Lexy, angel. I love you more than life itself. Don’t ever leave me.”
“I knew you needed me the first time we met, Jack. I never intended to give up on you. I’ve been in love with you for years. And I’ll never leave you, darling. You’re stuck with me now.”
Disengaging their damp bodies, Jack and Lexy gazed lovingly at each other. Jack heaved a sigh.
To think I almost didn’t have you Lexy. That I almost blew my life.
“I didn’t know it could be like this Jack.” She held her hand up gazing at the ring on her finger.
“Me neither, honey. I’m so glad you showed me the way.” He touched her face gently, the gold band on his finger caressing her cheek.
“You always knew the way, Jack. You just had to find it for yourself. I just helped you along.”
“I’ll be there for you and the kids, Lexy. Always. Count on it.”
“I know you will Jack. You are a good man. My kids are a good judge of character. They like you.” She gave him a teasing, playful look. “Of course, they don’t know how good you are-at other things.”
Jack growled and held her close. “But you know, baby. That’s what counts. Want me to show you again how good I can be?’’
Lexy giggled. “Okay, my darling, daring, rebel. Show me.”
He grinned a wicked grin. “That I will, my sexy Lexy, that I will. For the rest of ours lives.”
Epilogue
(Five years later)
Alex Wyatt glanced up as she heard the sounds of a motorcycle roaring up the road. She shook her head, smiling. The man would always have a little of the rebellious youth in him. It was what made him special.
The door slammed as a small whirlwind flew down the steps.
“Mommy, mommy, it’s daddy. Do ya think he will gimme a ride this time?”
The door slammed again as a beautiful young taffy-haired woman emerged, flying after the small, dark haired angel.
“I’m sorry, Mom. The little imp got away from me again.”
The small urchin turned and glared at her older sister. “I’m not a imp. Ask daddy. He says I’m just like him.” Small, chubby hands went to her tiny hips in defiance.
Lexy had to keep from laughing at the sight. Her four year old daughter, Isabel was the spitting image of her father. And such a rebel. She sighed.
I certainly asked for this.
The old Harley shot into the huge front yard and up to the small angel waiting for him. Hopping off, the dark haired man steered it next to a newer model already parked. The helmet came off and Jack looked down at Isabel. She stretched out her arms.
“I want to ride, daddy. Please. Please.”
“Maybe next year, my little angel. You aren’t big enough yet. Soon, though, soon.” He looked up and grinned at all of his women. All his. He glanced back at the two motorcycles sitting side by side. A satisfied smile settled on his lips, replacing the grin.
“I see my son is home from college too.”
The small child tugged at his hand. "Wyan gave me a ride, daddy.
He
didn't think I was too small."
Jack looked at Lexy and rolled his eyes.
Lexy smiled sweetly at her husband. "He’s in the back with Charlie. He’s been out here at least a hundred times, to see if you’re home yet.”
Jack's hand ruffled the little girl's tangled mass of raven-colored hair. "Daddy will have a talk with your brother. You are still too little, Isabel. No matter what Ryan says.
A tall, handsome dark haired, dark eyed young man came bounding around the side of the house.
“Dad!” Father and son hugged each other.
Lexy looked on with misty eyes. It had been rough going at first, for both Jack and Ryan. When she had announced another baby was on the way, they had made a truce. The truce had slowly turned into an alliance. A strong bond had eventually formed. By the time she had Isabel, they were completely father and son. Lexy didn’t know how much better her life could get. She finally had it all.
Jack picked up
Isabel, swinging her around as she giggled. He secured her in one arm, while the two men walked with their arms around each other’s shoulders. Lexy and Jess linked arms with them when they vaulted simultaneously onto the porch, laughing in union. The husband and wife gazed at each other with unabashed love. Lexy Wyatt and
her
rebels stepped into their home, closing the door, new memories waiting just for them.
