“It’s wonderful.

wonderful.” She wrapped her arms around his neck and beamed up at him, pure rapture shining in her eyes.

It made his heart do somersaults to think he’d put that expression on her face. “You know, there’s something to be said for this surprise business after all,” he murmured, lowering his head and settling down to the task of discovering new ways to surprise her further.
