“Relax! We got this, sis! When he called and told me you all were coming, he told me that he was going to marry you when he gets here. I then told him to bring all your originals and copies of your Passports, your birth certificates, and then asked if we would be your witnesses.”

“Well getting my birth certificate was easy for him I know, because he knows where all my important documents are. So this was a perfect set up for him. We shared information like that with each other just in cases of emergency when we’re out on a special mission.”

“Yeah, about that, sis. Are you going to continue in this line of work now that you’re having a baby? It’s too dangerous! Please, don’t be like mommy and daddy. Don’t do this to your child.”

Monica turned around and caressed Leah’s hand. “I know. I don’t plan to. I want to enjoy the addition to my family.”

The time came for Monica to be carried to the altar, which was located on the other side of the resort. Monica looked as the door opened. The whole resort was adorned with festive decorations for the wedding. Flower pedals were all over the grounds. Everyone’s hair and faces were painted in various colors and designs. Moe wore no shoes on her feet. Her full wedding attire was decorated in many shades of lilac with silver sequences all over. Her feet and hands were painted too. Her carriage had no wheels, but was carried by six strong men. They all were barefoot, wore white pants, and was shirtless with white designs paint all over their backs and chest. The carriage was clothed with white sheer linen. Music was sung by the women and children, and drums and flutes were played by the young boys. Monica felt like she was dreaming and living a fairy tale. She could see Colin from a distance. Her heart beat fast and the baby began kicking.

Thank you LB for confirming to me that we are finally on the right track. I never thought I would ever be this happy in my life.

Monica stepped out of the carriage after she was lowered and walked up to Colin. He was dressed in all white with silver and white beads around his neck. His countenance was full and smiles covered his face. His shoulders looked larger and his chest appeared to be much broader.

Oh my, he looks so good. Damn, I can’t believe this! He’s about to be mine, all mine, and am his. The way it should’ve been a long time ago. Yes, this is good. After this, home to have our baby. We also have to prep for the move and baby’s room.

Monica walked to Colin’s side. Justin and Leah stood behind them. They walked in front of them and clothed them both with leis. The minister walked them all down to the water to baptize them all. Everyone followed as they continued to sing. When they returned from the water more flowers were thrown on them. They both were then carried on the carriage to their honeymoon suite and was instructed not to come out until the following evening.

“Mr. Bradford.”

“Yes, Mrs. Bradford?”

“I just wanted to say thank you and that I love you immensely!”

“Likewise, Mrs. Bradford. Likewise.”

Colin and Monica laid in each other’s arm for hours.

“Do you think we can last in here for hours?”

Colin leaned up and rested on his elbow as he stared over Monica and gently rubbed her belly.

“I know we can. We made love twice, we have all the food we need, there’s a small bathroom in the next room with all the essentials, and to top it off, we have air conditioning. So I really don’t mind staying in here.”

Monica laid on her back with pillows to support her from different positions. “Yeah, as long as I’m with you my husband, I don’t care either.”

“Oh, yeah! Are you ready for your wedding present?”

“Wait, me first! Look in that closet. I asked Leah to hide it for me.”

Colin opened the closet door and took out a box. He opened it with anticipation. It was a picture.

“It’s another sonogram. I see the head, arms, and legs… but…”

“Say hello to your son! When I went into town, which was occasionally, I’d stop at the walk-in clinic and get a checkup since we’re not in the States just to make sure the baby was OK. So I asked for a sonogram.”

“Man! Babe, you give the best presents and they cost you nothing. I see what you mean and I think I can match that too. Wait till you see my gift. I think…well I’m trying anyway.”

Monica sat up in the bed held out her hands and closed her eyes. “OK, let’s see. Where’s my present. Put it here in my hand.”

“Well, your present is a gift of love. Not to you, but from us, to someone else.”

“What? I don’t understand.”

“Well, on the behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Colin Bradford I wrote a check for one million dollars to the Kuwasaidia Watoto Organization:
Help the Children Organization
.”

“Aw, babe! That’s so awesome! Yes, you did very well. This blows my mind. I love it. That’s the best present I ever had.”

“That’s not all. When we get home I want to start our own foundation to help anyone who’s in need of any type of assistance. And when and if you’re ready this could be something you could run, if you decide to stay home with the baby.”

“This would be right on time. I do plan to stay home with the baby. You’re the best husband a wife could ever ask for. What would I do without you?”

Colin and Monica continued embracing each other and making love throughout the night.

“Aw, sis, I love you. I hate this time. I don’t like good-byes,” Leah said with tears in her eyes. “We did have a beautiful time together, but we’ll be down for the holidays I promise.”

“Lele, you know I can’t control my emotions right now. Don’t make me cry. I don’t want to leave either. But Colin has to get back and we have to get ready for the baby.”

Colin and Justin embraced and gave Leah and Monica hugs as well.

“I want to thank you guys for your donations. It’s going to really make some nice changes and improvements for the children.” Justin gave them another hug.

“Well, I can honestly say that you guys are serious about your mission and that not only touched me, but it changed me. I see things differently and I want to make a difference. I may be joining Monica and retiring myself. We’ll see.”

“Yeah, Colin, that would be good too because Moe’s going to need a lot of help with the baby.”

“That’s why I want to get back too. Moe still needs to get back to physical therapy so she’ll have full strength to handle the baby. Oh yeah, I’ll be there to help with my son!” Colin expressed as he gather all the luggage.

Monica shook her head in amazement at Colin as she laughed. “OK guys, we have to go check in. We love you much. Good-bye.”

Colin and Monica walked through the gates to get ready to board their plane to head back to the States on a long flight. Colin upgraded their tickets to first class to make sure his wife and unborn son had the most comfort. He even requested a wheelchair to take the weight of the baby off her back and shoulders. Monica knew that she had the man of her dreams. For her dreams had finally come true.
