He gave me a look that
gave nothing away. “If there’s more it would be a surprise so you’d just have to wait and see.” He gave me a quick kiss before digging into his breakfast.

There was
a plate of eggs, bacon, sausage with pancakes, a bowl of fruit and a glass of orange juice on my tray. I was feeling too excited to eat much so I nibbled on the fruit. I was taking a drink from my juice when I almost swallowed something that was in my glass. I popped it out my mouth and realized it was an engagement ring. A fucking princess cut diamond that was approximately five carats set in a platinum band, just like I told Tyga when we were in Miami. I was out my seat and in my man’s lap raining kisses all over him as tears streamed down my face.

I’m happy you like It.” he took the ring from me and placed it on my left hand ring finger. “Does all your excitement mean you’ll marry me?”

Damn right I will.” I gave him a slow deep kiss.

Good, cause we’re getting married today.”

I gave him a skeptical look.
“You’re kidding right? Don’t we have to get a license and shit?”

Already did that,” he announced as he retrieved his cellphone from the table and started texting someone. “Those papers you signed our first day here. The hotel took care of everything.” At my look of disbelief he chuckled. “You should probably read before you sign on the dotted line next time.”

I punched him in the arm playfully for being right.
“You were damn sure I’d marry your ass weren’t you?”

Got that pussy on lock, you know that,” he teased. I hated when he was right.

Someone said a bitch was getting married today,” my cousin Daisy announced walking onto the balcony with Delco beside her and surprising the shit out of me. In the blink of an eye I was on my feet and we had our arms wrapped around each other while we screamed like some crazy bitches.

What the fuck are you doing here?”

You didn’t think you could get married without a maid of honor now did you? Your man flew Delco and me out,” she explained. “Now let me see the ring.” I flaunted my rock for her. “Damn girl it’s tight.”

Congrats Angel.” Delco gave me a quick hug. “I knew this fool would make an honest woman out of you.”

Thanks,” I told him with my now permanent smile, then gave my soon to be husband a kiss. “And thank you for flying my cousin here.”

You’re welcome. Delco and I will be in his room, your girl knows the details of where you should be and when, don’t be late.” He gave me a peck on the lips, slapped me on the ass, and then he and his boy left me to my preparations.

Where is my baby and who did you leave him with?”

I left him with my mama so don’t worry about him; what you need to worry about is getting ready for your big day.”

Oh shit I don’t have a dress,” I realized in dismay.

Girl please you think I would come all the damn way to Jamaica for my girl’s wedding and not bring her wedding dress with me. Your man gave me the money and I hooked you up,” my cousin announced leading me inside. She knew my taste so I trusted she got me something that was my style and looked great. “We have an appointment at the spa and the salon so after I show you the dress we’ve to bounce.”

I was beyond excited but
wished my baby had been there to see his parents get married. Not that he would remember shit, but it would have been nice. I wasn’t going to let that get my day down though; I didn’t need a lot of people there for my wedding. Daisy was there and she was the one I’d definitely wanted standing by my side. I knew my aunt would probably have to work and couldn’t get off on a short notice, Keya had fucked me over and would probably try to ruin my shit, Mina wouldn’t even accept my calls when I didn’t do shit to her and my father, I didn’t even know what to say about him.

I let all my disap
pointments blow away in the pleasant Jamaican sea breeze and allowed my cousin to lead me to the bedroom where she had left my dress and the future it signified.

After hours at the spa where I was rubbed, scrubbed
, polished and plucked in every way possible, Daisy and I headed to the Salon where I had my hair done in a side parted French twist with a half crown of white roses in the front and small wisp of hair framing my face. Back in my room I got a quick shower and a makeup artist from the spa did a wonderful job on my face. She went very light on the makeup and gave me a very natural look.

I slipped
into a sexy blue lingerie set my cousin had presented me with stating it was something blue and then into my Vera Wang wedding dress. It was white silk with spaghetti straps and was very free flowing. It was simple and beautiful and perfect for a small wedding on the beach.

Damn girl you look gorgeous,” Daisy complimented. She looked me over critically. “But you need something more.” She went into her bags and retrieved a large square jewelry case. “Maybe this will make it look better.” She popped it open and revealed an emeralds and platinum teardrop earrings and necklace set. It was absolutely beautiful.  “Something new from your man.”

She slipped them on for me as I looked myself over in the floor length mirror.
“I have to admit that I do look damn fine.”

Wait,” She made a stop motion with her hand, “I’m not done yet.” She went to her bag once more and retrieved an ankle bracelet that she slipped on my foot before helping me into my silver colored Manolo Blahniks with crystals on the straps. “Something borrowed and now you’re perfect.” I had to agree.

Someone from the resort came to escort us to the venue.
I had a million butterflies fluttering around in my stomach as I made my way towards the venue on the beach. From a distance I could make out a white arch with flowers decorating it and knew my man was standing under it waiting for me. There were also two rows of white chairs with people sitting in them on either side of the arch creating an aisle in the middle. I wondered who my small number of guest might be, probably people from the hotel. I was almost at the beginning of the aisle when I saw my father there waiting for me to my utter shock.

Surprise,” he proclaimed as he came over and gave me a hug bringing me back from my stupor.

What are you doing here?” I asked in a voice filled with astonishment.

Had to come walk my daughter down the aisle didn’t I?” he responded with a half-smile. Although we had our differences I was very happy to see him.

I was barely over that shock when my aunt walked over and handed my son to Daisy.
“You look great,” she complimented, giving me a quick hug and kiss before going back to her seat.

It was then I realized that the people in the chairs were actually people I knew. I spotted
Mina, Chance with Kiki on his lap, and even Tyga’s cousin EJ before my dad took my arm and informed me that it was time to walk down the aisle. I realized music had started and Daisy was making her way toward the arch where Tyga, Delco and the pastor were standing.

It was at that moment in time that I got a good look at my bay and my heart stopped in my chest and the butterflies were back in full force. He was wearing a white dress shirt and slacks combo and I
’d never seen a finer brother in my entire life. Maybe it was because I was in love, so I saw him through rose colored glasses but with that dark chocolate skin, muscular build and handsome face he was the most breathtaking thing on the planet. And when our eyes locked as I walked towards him, I fell in love with him all over again.

My father handed me off to my fianc
é, who gave me a quick kiss and the Pastor began the ceremony. As we said our vows the look in my bay’s eyes said he loved me, and my watery eyes reciprocated that love. I knew we weren’t perfect, but we were perfect for each other and I knew without any doubt in my mind or my heart there was no one else in the world I’d rather be with because to me, from the moment I laid eyes on him I knew someday he was going to be home.

After
the service we had the reception on the beach in a small tent draped with white silk and flowers. We only needed one large table to dine because our party wasn’t large.  There were eleven other people apart from me, my husband and the two babies. Apart from the people I had recognized before the ceremony began, there was also Boss whom I later learnt got invited because Mina refused to come without him and the guys from my bay’s crew: Dwayne, Lux, Biz and John. It wasn’t a large wedding but to me it was perfect. And when my man took me out on the dance floor for our first dance as husband and wife that’s how my world felt.

Did I tell you how fine you look?” Tyga asked as we swayed to the music wrapped in each other’s arms.

Only like a hundred times,” I giggled.

Well, let me say it again. You look too damn fine and I can’t wait to get you out that dress.” the erection nudging my stomach said he was telling the god honest truth.

Well since you did buy the cow and some, I guess I’m gonna have to lay the smack down on you like the Rock,” I teased. “You did real good though bay. You must have been planning for a minute.”

Since the morning you told me off when we were talking about marriage.” He must have meant the morning I told him straight up I wouldn’t have another baby with him unless he married me.

That wasn’t too long ago, but you still did real good.” I gave him a slow deep kiss and got wet from it.

How much longer do we have to wait before we can go up to our room and I can unwrap you?”

Can I cut in?” my father asked before I could respond to Tyga’s amorous question.

Sure.” My husband handed me over to my father reluctantly.

You look beautiful,” My dad said. That was what everyone kept telling me.

Thanks dad and thanks for coming.”

I’m happy for you. Your life seems to be going great even though you got me and Mina for parents. You’re doing real good.” Hearing those words from him made me feel happy although I didn’t want his opinions to affect me. “I don’t want to bring up any bad memories but I also wanted to say I’m sorry about Christmas.” I gave him a nod to let him know it was forgiven.

I took my smiling, drooling son for a spin on the dance floor
before taking turns with almost all the men at the reception. Almost all the men because I refused to dance with a pervert like Boss and the glares I was sending him made him know it would be public humiliation for him if he even attempted to ask for a dance. When Tyga and I left the party everyone was getting twisted excluding Aunt Missy who had taken the kids to bed.

Our hotel was filled with dozens and dozens of vases filled with red and white roses and the bedroom was also decorated with lit candles red roses strewn on the bed and floor and long stem red roses creating a heart in the middle of the bed. It was like a recreation of my last birthday. We made love four times before the sun came up. The first time was a slow passionate affair,
the second time started off slow with the use of whipped cream, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne and evolved into an inferno of rough fervent lust, while the third time was a nothing but animal sex in the middle of kitchen area, the fourth happened in the middle of the night when my bay decided he hadn’t had enough and woke me from my sleep for a final round.

It was the best birthday I
’d ever had.

Our family and friends stayed for two days after our wedding before returning home, while my husband and I stayed for another week on our honeymoon.

CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

ANGEL

I had just gotten off the treadmill at the gym and was breathing a little heavy because I hadn’t been to the gym in over two weeks so I was off my A-game. Daisy had stopped her workout to take a call. I was using my towel to mop the sweat from my face and shoulders when Kitsune came over.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen you around here.” He rested his elbow against one of the machines and struck a relaxed pose, looking sexy as hell. “Have you been successfully avoiding me?”

I had to chuckle because he sounded so conceited.
“No I haven’t been avoiding you.”

He graced me with a skeptical look.
“So it’s only a coincidence that I haven’t seen you in nearly a month?”

I rolled my eyes at his exaggeration.
“It’s only been two weeks and not that it’s any of your business but I was on vacation.”

Word, where to?”

Jamaica, you’re originally from there right?” I speculated because he had the slight Jamaican accent and the restaurant.

My father is Jamaican; he migrated to America when he was in his twenties. I was born in the good old U.S of A, but I spent my teen years on the island,” he explained as he followed me over to the bicycles. “You should have invited me on your little getaway I know all the fun spots. Where in Jamaica did you go?”
