And he so didn’t want her to bat an eye at him. She was nice and all, but Justin knew he needed to eat up and get the hell out of Hicksville.

“Sorry about that,” Flo said to Justin. “Eat up and ignore Rufus’s insults. He doesn’t mean no harm.”

Yeah, and bears didn’t shit in the woods. Oh, god, he was already thinking like a country bumpkin, and he hadn’t been here a whole day. Justin chuckled to himself as he ate his food. It was pretty good, considering it had been laid out on the counter first.

Justin thanked Flo for the meal, paid, and then headed for the door.

“Come back again,” Flo called out.

Not on your life.
Justin waved to her as he stepped out into the night air. The sky was blanketed in stars, and the clouds were far a few. Justin leaned his head back, wondering what he was going to do. He missed Taylor with every breath that he took. And he even missed Chase.

Just the thought of the two had his heart hurting. He hadn’t wanted to leave, but knew it was the right choice. They were better off without him. Taylor wouldn’t have to worry about Justin’s sickness, and Chase could claim Taylor now that Justin wasn’t there as a hindrance. He had to keep that in mind. Justin had to remind himself of the reason he was so far from home.

It wouldn’t do any good for Taylor and Chase if Justin ran back to his lover. He had to strike out on his own and give the two a chance to find happiness together.

Justin sighed as he headed down the street. He needed to find a place to sleep for the night, maybe a cheap hotel or something.

“You little shit!”

Justin yelped when he was pulled up by the back of his collar and dragged down the alley next to the diner. He kicked and swung his arms out, trying his best to get free. It wasn’t until he saw Rufus’s face that pure panic set in. The man looked like he was about to make Justin’s life even more miserable than it already was.

“You’re gonna pay for what ya did back in the diner.” Rufus’s words were growled out as he slammed Justin into the brick wall. “Flo’s mine.”

“There’s been a mistake,” Justin squeaked out. “I don’t want Flo.”

Rufus pulled Justin forward and then slammed him back into the brick wall, making Justin see his own set of stars.

“You sayin’ she ain’t good enough for you?”

Justin knew that no matter what he said, Rufus would take offense. It was a no-win situation.

“I’m saying leave me out of your screwed-up obsession,” he shouted right before Rufus slammed Justin’s head into the wall. His head throbbed as his vision blurred. The only thing going through Justin’s mind was that he was about to die.

A loud roar ripped through the alleyway, but Justin couldn’t focus. Rufus had knocked something loose in his head. He had to have. Justin couldn’t even think straight. Everything around him was a blur, but the pressure around his collar was gone, and Justin felt his body dropping to the ground.

“Are you all right?”

Justin blinked a few times, trying to focus on the man kneeling in front of him. The guy snapped his fingers a few times in front of Justin’s face, but Justin was still having difficulties with his vision.

“Do you need to feed?” the man asked.

Did he need to do what?
Justin rubbed at his eyes, and was thankful when his vision started to clear. Whoa! Big dude. Big fucking dude. “I…huh…” Justin frowned. “What did you ask me?”

“Do you need to feed?”

“No, I just—” Justin waved his hand back toward the front of the diner. “I just had a turkey sandwich.”

The dark-haired man chuckled. “Funny.” The man stood and then held out his hand. “Well, come on, let’s get you on your feet.”

“Feet, yeah, that would be good.” Justin took the hand that the man held out to him, letting out a very unmanly like yelp when he was suddenly yanked up. He weaved just a bit, reached for the man’s arm to settle himself.

He must have hit his head harder than he thought because he could have sworn the man had fangs in his mouth when he smiled. “What happened?”

“I was just going to ask you that.”

Justin frowned and ran his hand over the back of his head. His fingers came away wet. Oh, that couldn’t be good. “I think…I think I hit my head,” Justin whispered right before his vision started to fade and his legs gave out.

The last thing he saw was the man’s face as he bent over him and his words. “Well, shit! Dominic is going to shoot me for sure after this.”

* * * *

Chase blinked as his eyes fluttered open. Something had woke him up. He just couldn’t figure out what. To top it off, he couldn’t immediately figure out where he was. His ceiling was not mustard yellow.

A soft muffled sound to one side of him caught Chase’s attention. He turned his head, suddenly remembering where he was and why when he saw the brown-haired man in the bed next to him.

Taylor.

His mate.

And yet, not his mate. Chase sighed deeply as he turned to stare up at the ceiling again. At the rate he was going, he would never have a mate, no matter how much he wanted Taylor and Justin.

Chase heard another muffled sound. As he turned to look at Taylor, he realized that the man’s shoulders were shaking. Christ, he was crying. Chase flipped the sheet off his body and took the single step to Taylor’s bed, sitting down on the edge.

“Taylor?”

Taylor sniffled, but didn’t turn around. Chase laid a hand on the man’s slim shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. “Do you want to talk about it?” He wasn’t sure what Taylor was crying for. Sure, he knew Taylor was going ape-shit with worry over Justin, but Chase wasn’t too sure that was all of it. He wanted to make sure there was no other problem Taylor was dealing with.

“I failed him, Chase. For so long I kept him safe. I even sacrificed myself and what people thought of me just to keep the Teacher away from Justin, and now he’s gone.”

Chase sighed, stretching out in the bed next to Taylor. His mate stiffened, but didn’t pull away. He wasn’t sure if that was a sign that Taylor welcomed his company, so he pushed the envelope just a little further by wrapping one arm around Taylor’s shoulder.

Not only did Taylor not pull away, his shoulders began to shake ever harder. Chase was at a loss. He wasn’t used to comforting anyone. But Taylor wasn’t just anyone. Taylor was his mate. He wanted to take the pain away. It hurt Chase’s heart to see Taylor so torn up.

“Come here, hon,” Chase said as he tugged on Taylor’s upper body.

This time Taylor did pull back. He wiped his face on the pillow and then turned, scowling at Chase. “Don’t try to comfort me. This is all your fault, Chase. If you had claimed Justin and me, we wouldn’t be out here in the middle of nowhere, and I would be cuddling Justin in my arms right now.”

Chase growled as he grabbed the back of Taylor’s neck, pulling the man forward until their eyes were so close that he could see the small flecks of black in Taylor’s blue eyes. “I’ll take the responsibility for this, Taylor. But you will stop yelling at me.”

Taylor pushed at Chase, smacking his hands into Chase’s chest as the white-hot tears slid down Taylor’s face. “This is your fault!”

Chase manacled Taylor’s wrists, bringing them close to his chest. “Are you angry with me?”

“Yes!” Taylor shouted.

“Do you want to lash out at me?”

“God, yes!”

“Do you hate me?”

“No!” The answer came so quickly that Chase knew it to be the truth. Before Chase allowed his brain to take over and talk him out of it, he pulled Taylor closer, taking his lips and plunging his tongue deep into Taylor’s moist, hot mouth.

When Taylor groaned, tugging at his hands, Chase released them. Taylor gripped Chase’s shirt, curling the material in his hands. “I don’t like you,” he said into Chase’s mouth before opening wider for Chase’s exploration.

“I know,” Chase said softy as he licked Taylor’s bottom lip, teasing it with his teeth before trailing his tongue down Taylor’s jawline.

“This doesn’t make us friends,” Taylor whimpered as he tilted his head, panting heavily as Chase sucked up a bruise on the man’s neck. His mate tasted so damn good that Chase wanted to eat him alive.

“I know,” Chase repeated as he thrust his hand under the sheet and groaned when his knuckled brushed Taylor’s naked hip. The man wasn’t wearing any clothes.
Oh, fucking hell!
Chase snatched the sheet from Taylor’s body, and then crawled between the man’s legs, feeling Taylor’s erection probing at his stomach as Chase latched onto one perfect nipple. Taylor was pushing Chase away and pulling him closer at the same time.

Chase reached up and grabbed Taylor’s hands, locking them at his sides as he teased the nipple with his teeth, rolling it around and suckling it into his mouth. His hands tightened around Taylor’s wrists when the man bucked and then spread his legs wide.

He cursed the fact that he had underwear on. Chase wanted to feel Taylor’s hot cock against his very own. Releasing one hand, Chase pushed at the waistband until he was able to kick them free, never releasing Taylor’s swollen bud from his mouth.

“C–Chase.” Taylor writhed around.

“Easy, hon,” Chase said as he licked his way across Taylor’s chest, and then began an assault on Taylor’s other perfectly shaped nipple. The brown bud pebbled, the skin tightening as Chase lavished it with his tongue. He was so hard, so ready to fuck Taylor that Chase couldn’t think straight. The only thing he knew for certain was that he had to have the man. He had to be buried balls-deep in Taylor’s ass before he went insane.

He cocked a brow when Taylor began to push at Chase’s shoulders. He knew exactly what the man wanted, and Chase had no problem sucking the slim man’s cock. He was just a little shocked that Taylor was almost demanding it.

“Do you want me to suck your pretty dick, Taylor?”

Taylor whimpered and writhed, pushed and nodded. Chase sucked at Taylor’s skin as he made his way down to the man’s navel, licking a path around the entire circumference. Taylor’s hips shot forward, and a long moan fell from his lips, his nails digging into Chase’s flesh.

Chase growled softly as he kissed his way over to one hip, circling the skin with his tongue, before kissing his way over to the other hip.

“Stop teasing me, Chase.” Taylor panted, his hips rocking back and forth as Chase had mercy on his mate and licked a path toward the head of Taylor’s leaking cock. The clear liquid was pooling at his navel, a temptation Chase couldn’t resist. He leaned forward, cleaning his mate’s abdomen, his taste buds exploding as he lapped at his mate’s pre-cum.

“Fuck, you taste good,” Chase snapped the words out and then leaned back, nipping Taylor’s inner thigh before sucking one lone orb into his mouth.

“Chase!”

Chase didn’t relent. He moved the orb in his mouth around and then sucked Taylor’s entire sac between his lips. The wrinkled skin filled his mouth as Chase used his tongue to trace every single indent.

“Gods, Chase!” Taylor cried out as he bucked his hips, his hands flying to Chase’s head, pulling at his hair roughly. Chase hummed around his mate’s balls, knowing it would drive Taylor even crazier.

And he was right.

“Oh, my god. Oh, my god.” Taylor chanted the words over and over again as Chase allowed spittle to leave his mouth and then caught it with his fingers. He circled his mate’s puckered hole, his breathing becoming unsteady as he felt just how tight Taylor’s ass really was.

The man’s ass was going to strangle Chase’s cock.

Chase released Taylor’s balls and then began to lick his way up the shaft, chasing the large vein with his tongue as his finger slowly sank into Taylor’s asshole.

Taylor made the strangest noise Chase had ever heard when his finger sank all of the way in. It was a mix between a keening wail and a cough. He had never heard a sound like that before, and damn if Chase didn’t want to hear it again.

He wrapped his lips around the head of Taylor’s cock, suckling the head as he slid a second finger past the band of muscles. Taylor made the sound again, only louder this time. Chase grinned around Taylor’s thick dick, pulling his fingers all the way to the edge of Taylor’s ass, and then slammed them back in.

Taylor cried Chase’s name as he bore down on Chase’s hand, rocking his hips erratically. Taylor was unhinged, and Chase was amazed at the glorious sight. The man was breathtaking as he gave himself over to Chase.

As badly as Chase was fighting the mating, he knew he was addicted to the sex noises Taylor made as Chase thrust his fingers into the man’s ass once more.

“Fuck me, fuck me, oh, gods, fuck me.” Taylor shouted a litany of words as he rode Chase’s fingers, his boy shivering on every downward thrust. The man was going buck wild, and that was exactly what Chase wanted.

He wanted his mate to forget his anger, to forget his worries, if only for the night as Chase fucked the man into a damn coma. When he added a third finger, Taylor shot forward, grabbing Chase by the hair and pulling him off of Taylor’s cock, smashing his mouth down on Chase’s lips. The kiss was brutal, fevered, and damn if Chase wasn’t about to come from the sheer force of Taylor’s kiss.
