“That was interesting. I’ve never done it like that before,” Cody said.

“Yeah. I liked it a lot too. Did you like it Karen?” Derek asked.

Karen finished cleaning off her face, throwing the towel to the side.

“I sure did,” she replied.

The two men smiled at one another, happy with the way things went. The three of them curled up against one another, each of them dozing off. It was an amazing experience, and Karen would do it again.

The next day, Karen and the two men woke up. The party was long done, and when Karen walked downstairs, it seemed like everyone was gone. Cody and Derek followed suit, looking at her with grins on their faces.

“Wow, this place cleared out. I hope Stephanie made it home safe,” she said. Karen could feel the headache from her hangover start to pound against her face. She hated hangovers, and she knew that once she got home, she was going to be taking an aspirin.

“I think she’s fine. I’ll call my brother though to make sure,” Cody replied.

“Yeah, I highly doubt anything bad happened to her. Patrick is a good man, and I know that he will take care of her,” Derek replied.

Karen nodded, happy that her friend was safe. The air became awkward between the three of them, and Karen wondered if this was the end for them. Would they continue this relationship? Or would it become more awkward as time went on.

“So…now what?” she asked.

Derek pulled her into an embrace, and Cody followed suit. They hugged Karen for a second before they pulled back, grins present on their face.

“Well I would love to continue whatever it is that happened here,” Cody said.

“Same. I had a ton of fun,” Derek replied.

Karen agreed with them. This was different than a relationship because she didn’t have to worry about keeping too many formalities. She wanted to continue this, and she knew that they did as well.

“Let’s continue this relationship then. I like it,” Karen admitted.

The three agreed with that, Derek and Cody pulling Karen in and giving her a kiss on the cheek.

“We’ll walk you to your car,” Cody said in a loving way.

“Karen nodded in happiness. The three of them made their way over to the parking garage she was at, and Karen was happy to see that her car wasn’t’ towed because she didn’t come back last night. They said goodbye, and they exchanged numbers with her. Karen felt happy for the first time in her life. Sure it was a bit of a different relationship, but that didn’t mean that it’s bad at all. In fact, she could feel nothing but good vibes coming from this, and Karen was ready to see what this could turn into.

As Karen drove away, a feeling of happiness coursed over her. She was ready for the future, and she knew that it was surely going to be better than anything she ever expected.
