Roz wanted
it raw too.

And “daddy” didn’t have to
promise her anything.

She knew it was
going to be great.

She knew the feeling
would be over-the-moon wonderful.

But
she also knew she barely knew this man.

She also knew disease came in pretty packages too.

“Mama don’t
know Daddy like that,” she said, as she felt the sensations of his penis
rubbing against her.

“I wish I did, but
I don’t.”

Mick closed
his eyes.

It was painful that he was so
close to taking her there, but he was pleased that she stood up to him.

But it was only a minor hiccup because he
removed a condom from his wallet, put it on, and entered her the right way.

When he
entered her, when he felt her remarkable tightness unlike tightness he’d felt
in a long, long time, the feeling was just as wonderful.

And he delayed no longer.

He fucked her.

He closed his eyes, wrapped her securely in
his arms, and made love to her in a way both of them would describe as
devastatingly wonderful.

He slid in and
out of her, over and over again, until they were in a rhythm that was in a
class all by itself.

And just
when Roz thought it was not possible.

Just when Roz thought she had experienced all the highs one sexual
encounter could possibly allow her to experience, she was cumming again.

But only this time Mick was cumming with
her.

He was so full of cum that he was straining
it out.

He was pounding her and pouring
out until he could hardly control himself.

And if Roz
thought those previous cums were as big as they came, and she was back in
control, she was sorely mistaken.

There
was no comparison.

This was the big one
and the big one was upon her.

She was
thrashing and arching and screaming out.

She had neighbors, and knew her walls could be paper thin, but she
didn’t give a damn.

Not right now.

Not when Mick was fucking her so emphatically
that he had her half out of bed and was still pounding into her. Her body was
shaking.

The bed was shaking.

She was realizing the kind of sex that would
put any she ever had to shame.

Because
she was dealing with a master this time.

She was dealing with a man that had the kind of skill legends were made
of.

And she knew for herself, without
the need of any female anywhere confirming it for her, that Mick Sinatra was
that kind of special in bed.

He was also
very big, and very hard, and she was very small.

It was painful.

By the time they both had cum, and he was
finished with her, she felt as if she had been beaten with a rod as much as
fucked by one.

But it gave her the
oddest feeling of joy.

He put it on
her, pain and pleasure both, and they combined to give her the best sexual
experience she had ever had in her life.

Mick, too,
was pleased.

He rolled off of her and
laid flat on his back.

He was sweating
and panting and breathing as if he was dying, but he’d never felt better after
sex.

Because he also felt as if he had
been whipped.

He had been whipped by a
pussy that knew how to put it on him too.

He looked at Roz just as Roz leaned up on her elbow and looked at him.

And it was that look in her eyes, as if he
had not only just pleasured her, but had fascinated her with that pleasure,
that sealed the deal for him.

He wanted
her.

And it wasn’t just about sex this
time.

He pulled
her into his arms, and held her.

Roz
could feel a swell of emotion as he held her.

And she felt both ways about it.

On the one hand, she was out of his league and she knew it.

That man could run circles around her in
every department.

He might even be a
better actor than she was, she thought with a smile.

But on the
other hand, she felt as if two people could not have been a better fit.

Because there was something about Mick to her
too.

He was different in every way to
her too.

And she was pleased.

She didn’t want this night to end.

But like
everything else good that happened in Roz’s life, it ended.

It ended unexpectedly.

It ended painfully.

It came to an abrupt halt just when it had
only just begun.

CHAPTER SEVEN

They were
asleep for several hours when the call came in.

Mick was sleeping remarkably well, he rarely slept well at all, and Roz
was in his arms.

They were in bed
completely now, covered only by a sheet, when they both awakened to the sound
of a ringing cell phone.

Roz knew her
purse, and therefore her phone, was still in the living room, so she knew it
wasn’t hers.

And her ring tone was
different.

“I think
that yours,” she said.

“It is,”
Mick said, still tired and half asleep, and was about to get out of bed to get
it.

But Roz stopped him.

“I’ll get
it,” she said, and hurried out of bed.

He watched
as her beautiful naked body hurried across the room, grabbed the phone out of
his pants pocket, and hurried back to him.

“Thanks,
babe,” he said as he accepted the phone.

He’d never met a woman quite like her.

He remained lying down, and she sat on the bed as he looked at the
Caller ID and then answered.

“Talk to
me,” he said.

“Sorry to
disturb you, boss.”

It was Leo Barone,
Mick’s chief of security.

“What is
it?” He reached for Roz and pulled her on top of him.

She straddled his naked body as she sat up on
him.

“We’ve got a
problem, boss.

I hate to disturb you,
but it’s a serious problem.”

“What?”

“Another
breach.”

Mick
hesitated.

“Who?”

“Tonk
Maggio.”

Mick closed
his eyes.

Roz could see his
distress.

“From which position?”

“Evans.”

“You’re
certain it’s Tonk?”

Leo played a
recording to Mick.

Roz couldn’t hear
anything, but she could see Mick’s jaw tighten as he listened.

Whatever was going on, it was bad.

And it
was.

Mick couldn’t believe how bad, as
he listened to the recording.

When it
was over, he swept the front of his hand across his face.

“Is the package secured?” he asked into the
phone.

“It’s
secured,” Leo responded.

“We got him.”

Mick
exhaled.

At least that.

“Call Deuce.

Give him the address.”

“Yes, sir.”

Mick ended the
call and laid his head back down.

Roz was
staring at him.

Her hands were flat on
his massive chest.

“Everything alright?”
she asked.

“No,” he
said honestly.

Then he looked up at
her.

“I’m going to have to take care of
some business.”

“Business?

Now
?”

He
hesitated.

It was that part of his life
that was going to be the problem.

It was
this time in his life when he wished he didn’t have that part of his life.

“Afraid so,” he said.

Roz was so
disappointed that it scared her.

The
idea of him leaving so soon after such a powerful connection, bothered
her.

And who had business to handle this
time of night?

She went from being
perfectly content, to very concerned.

Because it was more than a sexual connection for her.

It was emotional.

This man was touching her on a level she
never thought she’d be touched again.

Mick was
thrown by the intensity of their connection too.

As he looked at Roz sitting on him; as he
looked beyond her beautiful brown body and into her beautiful brown eyes, he
didn’t want to spend a moment away from her either.

But he had to go.

It couldn’t be helped.

“Tell me the
truth,” she said to him.

Mick could
feel his heartbeat quicken.

He could
feel his defenses rise.

“What?” he
asked.

“Are you
going to be okay?” she asked him.

He
blinked.

Because her sweetness, her
concern for him stunned him.

Not only
was he not accustomed to it, but he never experienced it before in his life.

He placed his hand on the side of her
face.

“I’m going to be just fine,” he
said.

Then he added, to his own
surprise: “I’ll be back.”

The ray of
hope that suddenly appeared in her eyes made him glad he said it.

He smiled.

“You will?”
she asked him.

“I
will.

That is,” he added, “if you want
me back.”

“Um.

Do I want you back?

Let me think.”

Then she smiled.

“Oh, alright.

You can come back.”

Mick laughed
and pulled her into his arms.

He could
have stayed right there, holding her forever.

But he knew it couldn’t be.

He
rubbed her bare ass.

Squeezed it.

And then he kissed her again, got up, got dressed,
and left.

Roz started
missing him as soon as he walked out of her door.

Bernardo
Sarino looked up at the rearview mirror and saw the limousine splash through
the puddles under the bridge and made its way to their car.

Tonk Maggio looked back too, and saw it.

When he turned back around, he was shaking.

“You gotta
speak up for me, Leo,” he said to Mick’s security chief.

Leo sat in the front seat too, beside
Bernardo.

Tonk sat in the back, in the
middle seat, beside Rossi, another one of Mick’s men.

“You gotta tell him I had nothing to do with
it.”

“Lie to him
in other words?” Leo asked.

“It’s no
lie!

I’m innocent, Leo!”

“Yeah,
sure.”

“I am!

I wouldn’t undermine Mick the Tick, are you
crazy?

Are you fucking crazy?”

“But you
are,” Leo said.

“For what you did, you
are!”

Tonk looked
back again as the limousine approached.

He turned back around, his shaking even more pronounced.

“You gotta speak up for me, Leo!

He’ll listen to you.

This is my life we’re talking about!”

“You’re a
dead man, Maggio,” Leo said bluntly.

“You should have known better.”

“I know
better now.

Help me, Leo.

We go way back.

Help me!”

But nobody
cared.

Not Leo, not Bernardo,
nobody.

Loyalty was number one with Mick
and they all knew it.

Tonk knew it
too.

He was on his own.

The limo
pulled up alongside the Town Car.

Deuce
hurried out and opened the back passenger door for Mick.

Mick got out and got into the backseat of the
Town Car, beside Tonk.

One of his
closest employees.

Tonk was
ready.

He was ready to beg for his
life.

He and Mick went way back.

But Mick wasn’t ready to listen to his plea.

He faced forward.

He didn’t even look at Tonk.

“Why?” he asked him.

“You gotta
understand my position, Michello.

You
gotta understand---”

“Why?” Mick
asked him again.

Bernardo
looked through the rearview.

What was
Tonk’s problem?

He knew his only chance
was to be straight with Mick.

What was
he doing?

“I didn’t do
anything,” Tonk said.

“I keep telling
them they have the wrong guy!”

But Mick
already heard the recording.

The fact
that Tonk was now lying to him, instead of coming clean, made it worse.

“Why did you go to the Feds?”

“But I
didn’t!”

“Stop
fucking with me!” Mick screamed so loud it felt as if the car shook.

“Your ass went to Special Agent Evans and
told him all there was to know about me and my business.

You work for me and you’re telling some
got
damn Fed all you know?”

Mick calmed
back down.

“Fortunate for me, Special
Agent Evans work for me too,” he said.

Then he looked at Tonk.

“Fortunate for me.

Unfortunate
for you.”

Tonk’s eyes
rolled in the back of his head and his entire countenance changed.

“It’s like
thinking the worse is over,” Mick said, “and you’re walking in the middle of
the street celebrating that fact.

Only
to find yourself face to face with a Mack truck.

So yes, my former friend, you’re fucked.

Even bullshit cannot help you now.”

Tonk looked
at Mick.

He had to throw himself on the
mercy of a man who never showed any.

But
he knew there was no other way.

“Give me
one more chance,” he said.

“I’ll be a
plant for you.

You can use me any way
you want, Mick.

We go back too far for
it to end like this.

I wasn’t trying to
rat you out.

I was . . . Don’t do me
this way.

You owe me, Mick.

Don’t do me this way!”

Mick stared
at him.

Tonk thought it was because he
might have gotten through to him, and he was interested in reasoning with
him.

Bernardo thought so too.

“Everybody
out,” Mick said.

Tonk’s heart
swelled with hope.

Did he say the right
words?

Finally he said the right words!

Bernardo,
Leo, and Rossi got out of the Town Car and closed the doors.

It was now Tonk and Mick alone.

And Tonk was ready.

“I can be
your plant,” he said again.

“I’m not the
only member of your inner circle who ratted you out.

I can’t be!

There’s other poison pills.

But I
can sniff them out for you, Michello.

And nobody will know the wiser.

All those fuckers will think I’m on the outs with you.

But I’ll be your inside man!”

It sounded
wonderful to Tonk.

He was making it up
as he went along, but he knew he was clever enough to do that.

And Mick was falling for it. He felt Mick was
falling for it lock, stock, and barrel.

Until he
felt Mick grab him by the head and move him as if he was floating underwater,
until his head was crashing into the side glass of the car.

And then he hit his head against that glass
again.

“You’re
going to snitch on me,” Mick said, hitting Tonk’s head against the glass
again.

“You’re going to go to the Feds
to rat me out.”

Another hit.

“And you expect me to let you get away with
that shit?

I owe you?

What the fuck do I owe you?”

Mick was
just as offended now as he was angry.

He
rammed Tonk’s head and rammed Tonk’s head until it broke the glass.

Tonk was
fighting for his life, but he was no match for Mick.

Because as soon as the window crashed, Mick’s
fist took over.

He beat Tonk and beat
Tonk until blood covered his once handsome face.

Tonk managed to open the door and then fall
out of the car, but Mick the Tick fell out with him.

And he was on top of him, still beating the
shit out of him.

He hit him and hit him
and hit him.

He wanted no mercy and
showed none.

His men couldn’t even
watch.

It was just that brutal.

But that was
why they loved their boss.

He never let
another man do his dirty work.

He never
put blood on their hands until he put it on his own first.

And his hands were bloody.

He was beating Tonk Maggio to within an inch
of his life.

He was down in the dirt
doing it himself.

He was no Mafia.

There was no honor in him.

When it came to exacting revenge, Mick was a
ticking time bomb.

Mick the Tick was a
thug.
