him deeply.

Yuk! Guy was a total sleaze. All right, so Jordan had

gotten quite explicit with Grace on IM, but nothing Guy-like.

Being mistaken for Guy the serial womanizer turned his

stomach.

But Jordan would deal with that issue later. Now, he

must do his part to implement Grace’s revenge plan. If it was

going to go off as planned that night, he had to set his

portion in motion now.

Jordan left the sanctuary of his server room and made his

way to the break room where he had seen Guy enter a

moment ago.

“Hi, Guy.” Jordan hated how that rhymed. Guy’s mother

really should have thought through the many ramifications

of that particular name before settling on it. Maybe she was

still high on painkillers from the birth or something.

Guy looked surprised at Jordan’s greeting. To be fair,

Jordan had not been all that friendly with him in the past,

particularly after the fat comments about Grace.

“Hey.” Guy went back to pouring his coffee. Jordan had

a sneaking suspicion Guy did not know his name. It would

not surprise him one bit.

“You off to court?” Jordan asked, hopefully casually.

“Yeah. I’ll be gone all day.” Guy frowned at him.

“Why? You need me for something?”

“I do have some virus protection updates to install on the

servers and all the workstations might be down for a bit. I

didn’t want to disturb your work, but if you’ll be in court…”

The story was total bullshit, but Jordan was betting that Guy

did not know crap about servers.

“Yup.” Guy slapped Jordan on the back in a good-

natured male-bonding yet totally condescending action. “Go

for it. I’m going straight home from court. Hot date. Work as

late as you want on your little servers, I will be too busy to

be needing my computer tonight.” Guy waggled his

eyebrows suggestively.

The ‘hot date’ was with Grace and her two friends. It

was all part of the plan. She had set up a foursome with Guy,

and he had taken the bait like a shark in bloody waters. The

rest was just too hysterical to contemplate without busting

out laughing in Guy’s face. He pushed the thought from his

mind before he did start to laugh.

Jordan may well be falling in love with Grace and her

evil, brilliant mind. But if he had any hope of winning her

love in return, he better get moving on the rest of the plan.

Guy put the lid on his to-go coffee cup, headed to his

desk, gathered a few files for his briefcase, and whistled his

way happily out the front door of the office. Although it

nearly killed him, Jordan watched him leave and then bided

his time, waiting long enough to make sure Guy had not

forgotten anything and needed to come back into the office.

Then Jordan emailed the pre-prepared invitation to every

other male employee in the office, including the boss.

Poker Game Tonight –Guy Jackson’s Apartment 7 p.m.

No need to RSVP. Just show up and be ready for fun!

Jordan grinned broadly. Now all he had to do was wait.

Grace’s cell phone rang and she smiled when she saw

the caller ID. “It’s Guy!” she hissed to Jade and Donna then

she flipped it open. “Hello, lover.”

Donna giggled and Grace had to shoot her a ‘shut up’

look and walk away before Guy heard.

“Hello, my big boat of love.”

Grace frowned down at the phone in her hand. What the

hell kind of thing was that to say to a woman? She recovered

herself enough to respond, “Ooo, I just love when you say

things like that. Are we all set for tonight, lover?”

“That we are. I installed the hook in the ceiling, a heavy

duty one in case you want to give it a try.”

Grace rolled her eyes. No chance of that! That comment

was too ridiculous to even be insulting. Besides, she had

more important things to worry about, like the revenge plan.

“And do you have the other items we talked about?”

“Oh, yeah. I have to say, Grace, I was really tickled to

find out that you girls are into bondage and that other stuff

you mentioned. I wasn’t so sure after last night when you

didn’t even know about sex swings.”

“Well, you know. That is because I usually use the Love

Wedge instead.” Grace had to control herself from giggling.

Thanks to Donna and her computer research, Grace now

knew more than she ever thought she would about some of

the more creative things sold by the sex industry. “So, are

you going to be waiting for us the way I asked?”

“You got it, baby. I will be all decked out in my black

leather ass-less chaps and the nipple clips.”

“Mmm, mmm. I can’t wait. I’m getting turned on

already,” Grace bit her lip to control herself.

“And are you guys going to do all the things you

promised me?” Guy prodded, the slime from his voice

traveling across the wireless airwaves.

“Yes.” Grace cringed outwardly, knowing exactly what

he was referring to. But just in case she did not, Guy must

have felt compelled to elaborate because he continued.

“I got a hard-on in court today just thinking about you,

Jade and Donna doing it with each other in front of me. I

bought a surprise for you, too.”

Ah, jeez. This could not be good. “Really? What?”

“A strap-on.”

Grace nearly choked at that revelation. She swallowed.

“A strap-on?”

“Yeah, so you girls can fuck each other with it while I

watch.”

Grace looked over and saw Jade and Donna watching

her wide-eyed. It was killing them to not hear his side of the

conversation, she knew that for a fact. Grace, on the other

hand, thought they were the lucky ones to not be subjected to

his sleaze. “Mmm. I think that would be fun.”

“I gotta go, love boat, but I look forward to tonight.”

“Me, too. And don’t forget I want you in that swing and

waiting for us when we arrive at seven on the dot. It will be

such a turn-on that you are all ready for us.”

“Sure, babe, anything to make my three girls happy. But

you have to do something for me, too.”

“What’s that?”

“Walk in topless, all of you.”

Grace smiled her most evil smile. “You got it, lover.

Remember what we agreed on. You leave the door unlocked.

And if you close your eyes when you hear us at the door,

then when you open your eyes again, you will see more than

you ever thought possible.”

“Mmm, I can’t wait. See you then. All of you.” Guy

chuckled and disconnected.

Grace hung up the phone and shook her head. “We’re

gonna have to write this all down, you know. It needs to go

into a book or a TV show or something. It’s too damn good

to be kept secret.”

Jade laughed. “No one would believe it.”

“They will after J captures it for us on his cell phone

camera.” Grace raised her eyebrow suggestively.

“No!” Donna exclaimed.

“Oh, yes.” Grace grinned.

143

“And you still don’t know who this J is?” Jade asked.

Grace smiled slyly. “Not yet. But I will find out soon

enough. We agreed to wait until we took care of Guy first.

Then it will be the perfect time for us to meet.”

And Grace knew they would be perfect together. She

may have come up with the bondage outfit and sex swing

idea to get back at Guy, but she was only going to walk in

and snap a picture of him in it for her own amusement, and

possibly for blackmail. J came up with the real clincher, the

office poker game at Guy’s apartment.

Oh, yeah. That was pure brilliance. Perhaps she had

found a man with a mind worthy of her own.

The hour wait nearly killed Grace and the girls. She

downed some red wine and that helped a bit, but it still

seemed that the clock slowed down the closer it got to seven.

Finally, an agonizing half past seven her cell phone rang.

She blew out a breath and as Donna and Jade watched,

flipped it open. “Hello?”

“Hi,” J said in a voice she had imagined many times in

her head but had never heard.

“Hi yourself,” she said into the phone, realizing her

voice sounded shaky.

Grace strained her brain but could not place the voice

that greeted her through the phone. Maybe if she heard more

of it. “So. Did everything go alright tonight?” she asked.

She heard him laugh, and it filled her heart. “Oh, yeah.

Oh my god. I can’t even tell you how funny it was.”

Grace scowled. “Well, try!”

He laughed again. “I will. Today at work, I heard a few

of the guys talking about how excited they were about the

poker game at Guy’s. Even the boss.”

Oh, boy. But if anyone deserved to be found by his boss

and male co-workers hanging in a sex swing wearing ass-

less leather chaps and nipple clamps, it was Guy.

“I knew we had to be there at seven o’clock on the dot,

so I told everyone that parking on Guy’s block sucked and

suggested a carpool. Then I drove so we’d get there at the

right time,” J informed her.

She smiled. “I love your mind. You are brilliant! Have I

told you that?”

There was a pause and then she heard him say, “Um, no,

you never did. Thank you.”

“No problem. Now go on. Damn it, I wanted to be there

to see him get embarrassed.” Grace stamped her foot against

the floor in frustration.

“No, Grace. It was better you weren’t anywhere near

him. I wasn’t sure he wouldn’t get angry or violent. Besides

that, did you really want the boss knowing you were

involved in this?”

Grace smiled. She never had a man to look out for her

before. Well, there was her father, but that didn’t count, and

he tended to be annoyingly overprotective, anyway. But

having a boyfriend to take care of her, it felt kind of nice for

a change. Although it still sucked being told no when she

wanted to do something. “Alright. I get it, but what about

you? Won’t Guy and the boss figure out you were

involved?”

“Me? No way. I know enough about computers to cover

my tracks very well. The email invitation came out of Guy’s

email account. It’s untraceable to me.”

That reminded her of something. “One day you are

going to have to show me how to send anonymous emails.”

“You got it.” She could hear his smile over the phone.

Grace smiled, too, and thought to herself how this could

be the start of a beautiful relationship. “Now hurry up with

the rest of the story before I die. Wait, I’ll put you on

speakerphone so Donna and Jade can hear. Okay, there. Go.”

She heard J chuckle. “It’s so funny I don’t know if I’ll

get through it all but I’ll try. So we get there. Four of us

total, including the boss and me. I opened the door and Guy

is hanging there just like you said he would be. His eyes

were closed so he didn’t even notice us for like thirty

seconds, which, by the way, when you’re in a room with a

half naked man hanging from the ceiling, seems like a really

145

long time.”

“Oh, my god. What did the boss say?” Grace interrupted.

“He stood there, totally speechless for the entire half a

minute or so. Then he finally turns to us and says, this is

classic, he says ‘Gentleman, I’m not sure this is the kind of

poker game I’m used to. Would you mind giving me a ride

back to my car?’”

J did such a perfect imitation of their boss that Grace

belted out a laugh so loud she nearly missed what J said

next.

“Wait, there’s more! So by now, Guy has noticed us and

he is struggling to get himself out of this contraption. He’s

swinging all over the place trying to get loose. There’s this

big hook in the ceiling and it works its way out of the plaster

and he comes crashing down onto the floor and then a huge

hunk of the ceiling falls and lands on his head.”

J was laughing so hard by this part of the story Grace

could barely understand him, but she got enough.

“Oh my god! He was bragging to me about how the

company printed a warning about properly installing the

hook but he thought is was bullshit.” Grace didn’t add how

the idiot Guy had wanted her to sit in that swing herself.

“Well, he should have listened because when I left, the

ambulance was taking him away and they think he broke his
