“We’re about to take off, come on.” Jeffrey beckoned me to one of the reclining seats that had seat belts and we got settled in. Jeffrey held my hand while the jet sped up once on the runway and then lifted smoothly into the sky. It was one of the smoothest take-offs I’ve ever had on a plane.

“So what is it you wanted me to see?” I asked curiously.

Jeffrey got up from his seat once the plane was level and he walked over to the bar to fix us both drinks.

“You’ll see when we get there,” Jeffrey said mysteriously.

I chewed on my bottom lip and tried to figure it out for myself, but I couldn’t guess anything because Jeffrey simply had sprung all of it on me. I had no clue what he was planning.

“Okay, can you tell me how long it will take to get there?” I changed tactics and asked him that instead.

“Just ten minutes, actually.”

That only further confused me…what, were we flying over to JFK or something? Jeffrey chuckled at my bemused expression and he handed me a glass of gin and tonic.

“Can you just tell me? The suspense is killing me.”

Jeffrey put his fingers over the pulse in my neck.

“No, I’d say you’re just fine. Or you at least have enough time to live until we get there.”

I smiled reluctantly and then laughed.

“You’re such a pain, Jeffrey, just tell me!”

Jeffrey sat down and took a sip of his drink, his expression was serene and his posture completely at ease. He sagely denied my demands the entire way to only Jeffrey and the pilot knew where.

“We’re here, you can stop scowling at me now.”

Jeffrey grinned and stood up, he held out his hand and I put my drink down so that he could pull me up. We were still in the air, so I didn’t really know where “here” was. Jeffrey took me over to one of the big oval windows and then pointed to a bunch of lights in the water below.

I realized they must have been on some sort of barge or something, then I focused on what the lights spelled out. ‘Do you love me?’ brightly shone like a beacon up to where we could see. I was already getting teary and it was only a simple question.

I looked over at Jeffrey who was studying my every move, I gave him a tender smile and then he smiled slowly in return.

“Do you love me?” Jeffrey whispered and I nodded.

“I do love you, Jeffrey,” I finally admitted and his expression instantly changed into one of such pure joy that I had to catch my breath. He was just so beautiful.

“You do?” he asked again to double check.

I giggled and then nodded.

“I love you,” I said simply and he took me up in a huge hug and spun me around a few times.

When he set me down, I glanced out of the window again and saw the wording had changed, this time to, ‘I love you, will you marry me?’ My heart stopped in my chest before it sped up to racehorse proportions.

“I already know I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Christina, we don’t have to get married today, I just want to know…will you?” Jeffrey lowered to one knee and held my left hand in his. His eyes held so much emotion as he waited for my next words.

It’s as if the moment was suspended in time on the tip of a pin. I knew every day with Jeffrey would be amazing and that I would only continue to love him more and more each day. With him, I felt complete and there was no denying it anymore. How could I
not
say yes?

“Yes, I’ll marry you, Jeffrey,” I whispered and he picked me up into another spinning hug.

In that moment, I think we were the happiest couple miles high in the sky. Jeffrey set me down on my feet and his lips glued themselves to mine as we kissed as if our lives depended on it. I understood then why he planned for us to become a part of the “mile-high club.”  How could I not make love to such a wonderful man who has only wanted me from the day we met?

“Wait, I totally forgot about this part,” Jeffrey said once he broke the kiss.

I was feeling a little dizzy and a lot needy. Jeffrey pulled out a black ring box and opened it. When did he have the time to buy a ring? The ring itself was beautiful, not too flashy, not too understated either. The ring was silver and diamond encrusted, it was also in the shape of a flower and it held a larger diamond in its center. I was stunned into silence.

“I had actually thought about this before today…I was walking down Fifth and saw this in the window and figured I’d keep it until I asked you. I just had no idea I’d be asking you so soon,” Jeffrey said sheepishly.

He slid it onto my finger and I was shocked that it fit perfectly…what did he do --- measure my finger in my sleep?

“Holy shit, I guessed a size at random…see we’re perfect for each other,” Jeffrey said with a boyish grin.

I was still in a state of surprise. The ring was beautiful and I couldn’t believe I had just gotten
engaged
…to Jeffrey Bates! To me he was just Jeffrey, though, and one day we’d get married and have kids, Mama Lola’s wish would finally come true.

“Can you say something please? Anything?” Jeffrey sounded a bit anxious and I looked up at him.

“I’m just in shock, I’m like…rambling in my head…this was just a surprise. I never expected you to ask me to marry you,” I said and Jeffrey smiled at the awed expression on my face.

“I just figured why not, you know? We don’t have to get married right away, we can wait as long as you want…well, not for a super long time because I’d like to have my last name attached to yours,” Jeffrey said seriously.

“I won’t keep you waiting long, I promise…” I said and Jeffrey smiled again before he kissed me.

“So, now that you’re my fiancé, you’re going to move in with me, right?”

I laughed and he continued looking at me expectantly as he waited for my answer.

“Of course, it would be weird if I didn’t,” I said and Jeffrey relaxed a little.

I glanced outside the window and saw that the plane was simply flying out over the water.

“He’ll turn the plane back towards the city in a couple of hours…” Jeffrey said suggestively.

I was already pulling him towards the bedroom.

We stepped inside and he closed and locked the door before he turned around and backed me towards the bed. Jeffrey stopped just before I would be forced to fall back onto the bed and he pulled me against him. His hands gripped my waist tight and held me firmly against him. I could feel the bulge in his pants already hardening. Jeffrey’s mouth slid along my neck and up to nip at the base of my ear. I shivered and my hands slid up to grip his muscular arms. He was wearing a button down white shirt that was rolled up at the elbows, and grey slacks. I could feel his defined muscles through his sleeves and wanted nothing more than to feel them slick with a thin sheen of sweat from the exertion of our making love.

“Please get the clothes off…” I whispered and Jeffrey couldn’t be happier to oblige.

He quickly undid his shirt and pulled it off along with his undershirt. My hands roamed his taut abdomen while he undid his pants and pushed them off along with his boxers. He already had an impressive erection. I reached out to take him in my hand, but he stopped me by lacing my fingers with his.

“I want this to be about you, baby, let me make love to you…”

I nodded and Jeffrey pulled off my blouse to reveal the black lace bra I was wearing beneath. He cupped my breasts in both of his hands and then his mouth was on them; he kissed, sucked, and licked the tops before he reached around and unhooked my bra.

It fell to the floor and he took my breasts in his hands again. Jeffrey rolled one nipple in between his fingers as he sucked the other one into his mouth. I moaned when he gently bit down on it and then he traded with my other nipple, devouring it just the same. I was already wet for him. Jeffrey pushed me onto the bed gently and he took off my flats, jeans, and panties.

His mouth returned to my skin, his lips pressed to my shoulder, as he leveled himself over me. My hands moved to his arms so I could feel his muscles bunch and stretch with each of his movements.

Jeffrey trailed light kisses down across my collar and neck. Goosebumps raced across my skin as I became hypersensitive to his every kiss. Jeffrey nudged my legs open with his knees and I spread them so he could settle his hips against mine. His hard cock pressed directly against my clit and I moaned at the electric pleasure that caused my clit to throb and my sex to clench.

Jeffrey rubbed his length against me and I moaned and whispered to him how good it felt. Jeffrey’s mouth returned to the sensitive skin of my neck and he began to suck in the most sensitive areas. I moaned and gripped his arms tight as I was growing even slicker with wetness. Jeffrey was rubbing against me just right and my sex was clenching over and over, sending shocks of pleasure through me as I was impatient to have him inside.

Jeffrey’s mouth slid lower to my belly and I moaned softly in protest as his cock moved away from my folds. He trailed more kisses down to the lips of my sex and his tongue delved into me. I cried out and my back arched as I craved more from him. He spread the folds of my sex with his fingers and then flicked his tongue against my clit relentlessly.

My fingers went to his hair and moved restlessly as my hips began to move of their own accord against his mouth. Jeffrey slid two fingers into me and found my G-spot easily. He pressed against it and I cried out loudly, as the pleasure was indescribable. It made my bones feel like jelly. My vision blurred a little as my mind became focused with that one small part of my body and everything Jeffrey was doing to it. He kept flicking his tongue against me and I felt that the orgasm building was going to be tremendous.

My mind clouded and all I could do was beg for Jeffrey to keep going, he didn’t let up and soon I shot off into an earth shattering climax. When I came back down, Jeffrey was looking up at me with an electric gaze.

“I need you inside…please,” I said and Jeffrey climbed over me once more. He positioned his rigid cock at my entrance and slowly pushed inside of me. He drew out a long moan from me and then stilled once he was fully inside. Jeffrey’s gaze met and locked onto mine before he started to move.

It was like I was in a trance, I felt like he could see into my soul and I could see into his. His eyes reflected all the love, need, and passion he felt for me. I cupped his face in my hand, as he slowly thrust in and out of me, and I pressed a soft kiss to his lips that turned slow and sensual.

The orgasm built up slow and steady; there was something to say about the pleasure a man brought when he took his time. Jeffrey was getting close to climax, as was I. He gripped my hips tight in his hands and thrust into me so deep. The pleasure of his reaching so deep pushed me off the edge and the climax felt like I was free-falling. Soon, Jeffrey came with me and he whispered my name in my ear.

“I love you, baby,” he whispered and he pulled his head back so our eyes met.

“I love you, too,” I said with a smile. Jeffrey pressed several long kisses to my lips before he slid out of me and led me to the shower. I didn’t even know planes had showers. Jeffrey continued to treat me with heart filling tenderness and he washed me before quickly showering himself. We went back out into the main cabin and cuddled on the couch until the pilot announced that we would be landing soon. We sat in the regular chairs and soon we were back on the ground.

When Jeffrey and I made it back to his car, he held my hand in his and played with my engagement ring.

“So how did you like the club?” Jeffrey asked.

I smiled softly, I still wasn’t fully over how amazing it all had been. How amazing Jeffrey had been.

“It was really fun, we should go again sometime,” I said with a smirk.
