Thank You.
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the Wacky Women series!
Funny, warmhearted, sexy Romantic Comedy series are my absolute favorite. I love reading them. I love writing them.
Once Upon a Cowboy
(originally
Once A Cowboy…
) is the second book in my Wacky Women series, and
one of my top picks. Freshly updated, newly edited, and even more romantic than the original, it's a tongue-in-cheek salute to the Western genre, right down to the overriding motto our heroine spouts when she first meets our hero:
A cowboy—a
real
cowboy—is always true to his horse, true to his woman, and true to his word.
Also tongue-in-cheek, are the characters' names. I mean, what can be more "cowboy" than Holt Winston, right? Well, unless it's his sidekick, Gabby. And, of course, there's our heroine Camellia Greenbush—but you can call her Tex.
Once Upon a Cowboy
is set on a Colorado dude ranch, the A-OK Corral, though the one I visited was in Texas. My poor blistered backside can attest to all the roundup fun in the book. And there really was a fringe-eating horse named Petunia, though by now I suspect she's galloped across the Rainbow Bridge. Er, not the sort of galloping that happens in the book, but the regular type of... Never mind. You'll understand soon enough.
Time to saddle up, dudes and dudettes! I hope this story provides you with a galloping good read.
Happy Trails!
