“Jordan, Zachary will never give up. He’ll want his baby. You can’t expect him
or
his pack to give up. It belongs with them. It shares their leader’s blood.”

She didn’t expect the rage that exploded through Jordan. “It belongs to me! I want it to lead
my
pack. I will have that baby, Marley. With the lycanthropy in your blood mixed with Zachary’s, I will rule the north!

“If you don’t want to be with me, fine, you can die once that baby is born for all I care. Get up, we’re leaving. I don’t have time to sit here and argue with you. I thought we had something, Marley. You’re just like the rest of the females out there, a complete bitch.”

The large root broke off in Marley’s hand, filling her palm
. What
the hell am I going to do with this?
It wouldn’t do much damage, it wasn’t sharp enough. All she could do is pray for the best and stab with all the force she possessed.

Before she lost her nerve, Marley sprung from the ground so fluidly that her surprise only lasted an instant. With a quick thrust, she stabbed the jagged edge of wood into his inner thigh and took off running back toward the path and toward the light.

A growl combined with a howl sounded behind her, making all the hair on the back of Marley’s neck stand straight up. The call forced her aching body to give it everything she had. Her shoes barely felt like they touched the earth beneath her feet as she ran for her life.

Branches clawed at her face and she didn’t even feel them this time. If she didn’t hurry she would die. The light grew closer and closer as she fought to make it out. Soon, so soon, she would be there.

Sharp pains shot through her lungs, but she didn’t stop to catch her breath. She refused to give up before she reached the light.

Hopefully someone would be there waiting for her.

Large thumps under her feet vibrated in the distance, and they gained faster than she could outrun them. The ending quickly approached. Every thought in her mind couldn’t come up with a way for her to make it out alive. It would happen just like in her dream. He would pounce right in the middle of her back and then he would either kill her or take her. Either way, it marked her fate. Eventually, she would die. No part of her would ever give in to him, not her body, her mind, or her heart.

Jordan grew closer now. Marley’s legs seemed to feel this and already claimed defeat on her. Numbness settled over them and, suddenly, she couldn’t feel them moving to support her. Her brain Ebook piracy is stealing. It is a federal offense.

told her to stop, to accept that she’d already done everything she could possibly do, but the life of her unborn child drove her forward.

Marley’s halo, her salvation of light, nearly went black. The fear of not knowing why almost made her legs buckle. She wasn’t sure if she had begun to imagine things or if lack of oxygen caused her to start blacking out. It wasn’t until the dark blurs raced past her that she recognized what was happening.

Wolves by the dozens emerged from everywhere. There were easily thirty to forty that she could see through the thick shrubs and foliage all around her. The realization actually caused her to stop to watch everything happening around her.

“You must be Marley,” a beautiful women with light brown hair asked from behind her. Marley spun around, panting, and looked into the woman’s blue-green eyes, knowing instantly who she must be.

“And you must be Kylie,” Marley forced out between breaths.

They smiled at each other. A yelp had Marley jumping. Her face turned just in time to see Jordan getting ripped to shreds by at least five wolves not fifteen feet from where she stood. The terror that he had gotten so close made her jaw part, but she couldn’t hide the horror that filled her face from all the blood spraying into the trees.

“We should get you back to the estate. Zachary would kill me if anything happened to you.” Kylie reached for her arm.

At her words, Marley’s gaze ripped away from the horrible scene.

“I can’t leave. I have to find Zachary. He has to be all right. I’m not going anywhere until I find him.”

Fear poured though her. With the back of her hand, she nervously wiped at the blood and sweat running down her face. It felt like she had the worst sunburn in the world. Now that she remained still, her whole face felt like it was on fire.

Marley paced around in a circle, confused about where to go. To get to Zachary she would have to squeeze by the wolves to make it past them. Her eyes scanned for a way to maneuver around without getting too close to the bloody scene.

“Marley!” a voice yelled, echoing through the trees.

At the sound of his voice she knew instantly who called. Leaning to the side, she saw him running around the crowd that gathered around Jordan’s dismembered body.

“Zachary!” she screamed, meeting him. She threw herself into his arms hugging him so tightly he groaned.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you, but I was so scared I’d never see you again.” She pulled back to look at him.

“It didn’t hurt. I’m just a little sore. Let’s get back to the estate.

That way we can get you looked at. There’s blood all over you. Did he hurt you?” he asked frantically.

“No, he didn’t. Wait, where’s Cole?” Marley asked, panicking.

Zachary smiled down at her. “He’s already on his way to the estate. He’s meeting us there.”

Relief made her adrenaline plummet and she felt suddenly lightheaded. Dazed, she followed Zachary and Kylie down the path.

Her whole body screamed abuse. The first thing she planned on doing revolved around hot water and a good soaking, and then she could get looked at. End of story. There was no way she would settle for anything else. She’d like to see anyone say otherwise.

Chapter 15

Everything about the estate was something Marley never dreamed possible. When Zachary had said “estate,” for some reason she thought more of a ranch. Marley assumed that’s what she got for thinking like a Texan, but this wasn’t anything close to a ranch.

The large white mansion could be seen from the miles between the forest and the huge house. She nearly cried in relief when she saw that everyone drove to the lining of thick trees. It would have been impossible for her to walk a few more feet, much less a mile or two.

When they pulled in front of the huge house Marley couldn’t do anything but gape in wonder. The circle drive looped around the biggest fountain she had ever seen. Massive windows filled the front, giving an amazing view from every single room.

Slowly, Zachary pulled her through the large, oak double doors while she took in the elegance of the dramatic entryway. The black and gold marble floors literally looked like glass as she walked across them. This place resembled more of a museum than an actual home.

“Miss Marley, Miss Marley, you’re home!” A voice squeaked.

A little girl who she guessed to be around five years old latched on to her legs. It took a great deal to control the surprise Marley felt that the little girl wasn’t screaming at the top of her lungs at her appearance. Thank God she wiped all the blood off of her face before they arrived. Taking a look around, she noticed they all looked horrible. One side of Zachary’s shirt clung to his frame from the earlier blood. Hers was scattered with blood from the head injury and various scratches she received.

“This is my niece, Aria. She’s Kylie’s daughter. She’s human,” he whispered.

Ignoring the aches throughout her body, Marley bent down looking into the same eyes as her mother and her uncle. “Hello, Aria, it’s nice to meet you. I think you and I are going to be great friends.

What do you think?”

“Oh, the best,” Aria chimed. “I just know it. And when my cousin Demetri get’s here, he’ll be my favorite cousin ever.” She threw her hands in the air dramatically.

Marley smiled. “So when does he get here? Will I get to meet him, too?”

Giggles revealed her perfect little white teeth. “Silly, he’s right there.” She pointed to Marley’s stomach.

Shocked, Marley’s mouth opened and she looked up at Zachary.

“She has the gift, even for an h-u-m-a-n,” he spelled.

Marley looked at Aria stunned. “I’m sure you will be best cousins.

Thank you, Aria,” she said, with tears in her eyes.

On trembling legs that would barely support her, Marley stood up.

Zachary helped her up the marble staircase and to his gigantic master bedroom. She was afraid to let go of his arm for fear of falling on her ass due to the glass-looking floor. The moment she saw the carpet she almost sung Hallelujah. At least she wouldn’t have to worry in here.

“Demetri, it’s perfect,” Marley whispered.

“Yes, it is. I couldn’t agree more. Wish I would have thought of it.” He laughed. “Now let’s get you in the shower and out of those clothes.” He walked into the large bathroom adjoining his room.

Teeth grazed Marley’s lip as a whole new heat started to take over her body. “Oh, yeah, you want me out of my clothes, huh. Sounds good to me, but you better make it worth my while,” she said to him seductively.

Zachary’s wicked smile made her nipples tighten painfully. No matter how tired she felt, she wasn’t about to pass up anything he offered.

She watched him turn on the six-headed shower, and they both started taking their clothes off. Zachary winced when he pulled off his shirt. The gash, amazingly, had already begun healing nicely, but it still remained red and slightly puckered around the jagged edges.

Marley pulled her clothes off feeling her body revolt against stretching her muscles, but nothing would stop her from making love to Zachary. She needed to feel his heat, his pleasure, and, most of all, the completion he brought her.

The sight of Marley’s nude body caused his already hard cock to swell painfully harder. Getting only a quick glance of pink, tight nipples, she turned, walking toward the shower, swaying her hips. His gaze automatically went to her round ass as it tightened with every step she took.

A throat clearing brought Zachary’s attention back to her as she stood staring at him from the entrance of the glass door. He couldn’t help but look at her in awe.

“I never thought I would be lucky enough to see the day when I would have the most beautiful women in the world in my shower.” He walked toward her.

Marley blushed innocently while Zachary came to stand directly in front of her. Gently, he pulled her face up so she could look up into his eyes. Before he could open his mouth to tell her how serious he had been, her firm grasp circled around his cock. Zachary groaned, leaning forward.

“And I thought I would never see the day when my mysterious dream lover would come to sweep me off my feet, but here we are, together…forever,” Marley whispered as she brushed her lips against Zachary’s.

He embraced her tightly. He led her in the shower until she became wedged against the wall. The softness of her breasts slid against his chest while warm water poured over both of them.

With two fingers, Zachary separated Marley’s folds, sliding his fingers over her clit and deep inside her opening. Searing heat tightened around him as he pushed his fingers deeper at her increased strokes of his cock.

Marley tightened her grip as she neared the tip of his cock repeatedly. He was sure if she kept up her continual strokes that he would come before he got the chance to enter her. Being in the heat of the shower intensified her scent, smothering him with the delicious smell.

Not wanting to waste any more precious time, Zachary lifted Marley’s light body against the marble wall and slid her tightness down his length. He had to bite his lip so he wouldn’t explode into her. Would this ever get easier for him? He doubted it, not with Marley, never with her.

Electric currents shot though Marley’s mouth at the caress of his tongue. Her senses felt so sensitive at the slightest touch that her nipples tightened against his hard chest.

His large hands gripped her ass, pulling her up to straddle his waist. Impatient, she wrapped her legs around him and felt him push her back against the marble wall. Warm heat enveloped her nipple when he brought it into his mouth. Marley moaned at the suction he applied, rolling her head to the side as wet strands of her hair stuck to the side of her face.

Zachary’s cock entered her slowly but surely, spreading her wide around him. She moaned louder, sinking down his length.

“Damn, Marley, you feel so good. I love the way your pussy grips me. We fit each other perfectly.”

His arms flexed as he lifted her up his length and brought her down again. He felt so good buried in her that Marley couldn’t focus on anything but the sensation of how smooth and hard he felt while sliding inside of her.

“I love you, Zachary,” Marley said, pulling back to look into his eyes. His gaze was so intense it made her freeze. At a loss for what to say, she wondered if she should have told him so soon.
