Sam stood in total shock. She looked at Ian as tears welled
up in her eyes. “Are you sure?” she whispered to Ian. “Are you really sure
about this?”
“I've never been so sure in my entire life,” swore Ian, the
microphone picking up everything. “Yes, I swear to God as my witness.”
“Yes!” shouted Sam and she hugged Ian and kissed him hard.
The audience stood up and roared with appreciation. “I can't believe this!”
screamed Sam. She hugged Jordan and then Deb. She then turned to the rest of
the guests and that's when she noticed, her mother had fainted. Startled, she
ran to her mother's side and tried to help her. Artie stood frozen, not knowing
what to do.
“Mom, wake up? Someone get a doctor,” screamed Sam, but
Bunny had come to and looked happily at Sam. By now, Jordan, Deb and Ian had
come to help as well.
“I can't wait to get started on the wedding plans,” began
Bunny as she sat up. “First, we need to get a wedding coordinator and then…”
“Hush,” whispered Sam as she put her fingers to her mother's
lips. “Let's enjoy Jordan and Deb's night first.” Artie helped Bunny back into
her seat while Sam turned to the wedding party and ushered them back to the
table.
“Good luck, little sister,” whispered Jordan. “You are going
to have your hands full.”
“I see Vegas, Baby.” Sam smiled at her brother, sat back and
enjoyed the reception.
