“I had some in my duffel.” He tears apart the packet and rolls the latex over his cock.

“Always prepared.” I’m glad he has the experience to remember such tiny but important details.

He grasps my hips, drags me against him. Not moving to slide in, but pressing his hardness to my entrance, waiting for me to take him. “Always, but not for this. You play a dirty war, sugar. I had no way of being prepared for what you’ve done to me.”

“I’ve always been stubborn.” Lifting up on my knees I grasp him with one hand and sink onto him. My inner muscles ache from last night, but it’s a sweet type of soreness. The kind that feels even better when it’s made that little bit sharper. He groans as I take him all in, grinding into him as he wraps his arms around me, his hand cupping the back of my neck while he nibbles my shoulder. He’s everywhere, all around me, inside me, owning my body the way he was always supposed to. The delicious friction of him stroking my most sensitive spots sends waves of pleasure rippling through me, until I can’t stand it, until I’m whimpering from his sweet torture.

He captures the sounds with his mouth, thrusting his tongue against mine. “Cum for me, sugar. Let me see what I do to you.”

His words have their own kind of magic. The type that spikes through my core, intensifying what he’s doing with his cock. Clinging to him, I rock faster onto him as my orgasm starts a chain reaction of implosions that hurtle me over the edge. Then he nudges my head back, nuzzles my neck and grazes my skin with his teeth, while he bucks against me with savage desperation, cumming hard inside me.

Razer

We don’t leave her bed for a while. Instead, I lie her down and hold her, talking in quiet murmurs while my hands explore every inch of her body. When she turns into me, stroking my cock, I cover her mouth with my own. I don’t want to leave this world we’ve built around us. She makes me cum in her hand as she tells me one of her sex dreams, and then I put my mouth between her legs again until she’s rosy from her orgasm, and I’m certain I’ll never be able to forget how she tastes.

When we finally get up, we dress silently, communicating with tender caresses and lingering gazes before I pull her in and claim her mouth again. The boys are moving around, talking and cursing as they deal with their hangovers, and I duck my head out to make sure the hallway is empty before slipping out of her room and heading to the kitchen.

“Do you want eggs?” Tom dumps a spoon of fluffy scrambled eggs on a plate. “Bacon? Coffee? How’s your head?”

“Better than yours.” I take the plate and cutlery he holds out, while Mace pours coffee. “You both look like shit.”

“We had a couple nightcaps at Chelsea’s. Ended up crashing on her couch.” Mace shoves a mug under my nose. “Claire must be feeling fucking seedy. She was moaning like she was dying this morning.”

Shit.
I thought we’d been quiet, but I hadn’t wanted to silence her completely. Hearing her moan for me had set me on edge.

“Yeah I heard that, too.” Tom nods and shoots a glance in the direction of the bedrooms. “She better not have puked on the carpet.”

“Morning.” She swans in as Tom fishes the last of the eggs onto a plate. “Is there any for me?”

“Sure, Little Bit. You feeling okay?” He peers into her face.

She looks fucking radiant. She gives him this beaming smile and steals a slice of bacon off Mace’s plate, narrowly missing getting her hand slapped. “Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?”

“You sounded like a dying cat,” Mace mutters to his plate. “Annoying little sisters, always stealing your bacon.”

“Oh.” Her gaze finds mine, glints with heat and humor. “I was having sex.”

The two boys start gagging. “Oh yuck, Little Bit.” Tom says.

Mace dumps his plate in the sink, eggs and all. “I don’t fucking want to hear that. Now my breakfast’s ruined.”

I stifle the chuckle, the twitch of my lips. Grip my knees with my hands so I don’t get up and put them on her. Even as I worry they’ll come to a certain conclusion, that she’s trying to get my ass kicked. That she knows I deserve it for giving in to her. And I do, because I know better. She’s still the baby of the family in so many ways, and I should have been able to fight her.

“Oh come on. I was probably having a bad dream. You didn’t have to go and waste a perfectly good breakfast.”

“Whatever.” Mace grunts as he stalks out of the room. “My sister and sex don’t go in the same sentence. Ever.”

“What a pussy.” Tom chortles, popping one last massive forkful of eggs into his gob before rinsing his plate. “I’m going to take Lucky for a run.”

Sliding up behind her while she doctors her coffee, I caress her ear with my lips. “You’re going to have to be quieter next time.”

“Next time.” She twists in the bracket of my arms, rubs her fingers up the outline of my cock. “I want to scream your name at the top of my lungs.”

“Shit, sugar.” I’m instantly fucking hard, wanting to drag her back to her room and repeat the last twelve hours.

“I think I left my cell in the kitchen.” We jump apart as Tom comes back into the room.

I keep my back to him, and Claire gives me a quick sideways grin before stepping around me. “Here. Is Mace going with you?”

“Nah. He’s nursing his head in front of the TV. I’ll see you guys later.”

As soon as he walks out of the room, I grab her hand. “Let’s get out of here.”

She nods. “All right.”

I take her for a ride on my motorcycle, wanting to enjoy the sunshine. We head out on the back roads, winding our way out past the limits of Reverence. She clings to me tightly, her face pressed to my back until I find the place I’m looking for. I haven’t been here for years. Not since the day I left. That was the last time I’d ever planned on coming back. She slides off the bike, and I take her hand, pulling her across the field and through the tree line.

We hike through the dark canopy, the sun coming in random streams where it penetrates thinner branched areas, until we turn onto a thin rocky track that’s no more than an eroded line up the side of the hill. I hold her hand as we pick our way over the pebbled surface and push aside the overgrown bracken. There’s probably another way to the top of this hill, but this is my way and it doesn’t look like anyone else has been up here since I left. Close to the top there’s a boulder that blocks the path and the only way over is to climb. At the top I hoist her up, catching her in my arms while she gains her balance.

“Wow.” She turns around slowly taking in the view.

But I’m already tugging her down the other side and along the ledge. “I used to come here sometimes,” I tell her. “When I wasn’t feeling so lucky. When I stayed at my grandfather’s and wished I was at your house instead.”

“I remember,” she says. “Although not much. I didn’t really understand why you came home with black eyes, or the time you got your arm broke. I remember wishing you didn’t go away for days at a time. You belonged with us and I didn’t get why you would want to be away from us.”

“Do you remember the first time you kissed me?” I chuckle, pulling her down onto this rock that’s formed like a seat, its surface weather worn.

“When I was sixteen. I tried to forget.”

“No.” I stare out over the valley, with its grid of paddocks and the creek running like a ribbon through the middle of it. “You were five.”

She shakes her head, her brow scrunched while she fights for a memory long since lost. “Boys had cooties when I was five.”

“Maybe.” I grip her chin between my fingers. “I came home from my grandfather’s with welts across my cheek.” A shudder runs up my spine, anger and relief pulsing under my skin as I consider how much worse my life would have been without her, without the family that took me in as one of their own and never expected anything in return.

She brushes her fingertips over the faint scar under my right eye. “That was the last time wasn’t it?”

“You saw them and you cried, locking yourself onto my ankle and howling.” I slide my hand into her hair, cup the back of her head. “You threw a full on tantrum until I told your parents not to send me back there again. Then you climbed onto my lap and kissed the heck out of my face, puckering up to slap one right on my mouth.”

She laughs, and the sound gets me right in the gut. “That doesn’t count.”

“You saved me every damn day. You get that? So when this thing ends...” I rasp my mouth over hers. Feel her sharp intake of breath. My chest constricting over the idea of having to let her go, not being able to touch her like I am, or worse, seeing her with someone else. Because once her brothers find out how I feel about her, I’m sure as hell not going to be welcome in her life anymore, or theirs. But I’m not going to disappear on her again either. Not when it didn’t help me keep away from her in the long run. “I’m not going to cut you out again.”

She winces. “You really believe I don’t know what I want, don’t you?”

“Oh. I know what you want.” I drag her to straddle my lap, slipping my palm between her legs while I push away the inevitability that she won’t be ready for what I want until long after she’s moved on from me. “You want to scream out my name.”

She shakes her head, scrambling away from me to stand on the brink of the ledge, glancing over her shoulder at the view below us. “No, I don’t want to just scream out your name.” Her face splits into a grin that brightens everything before spinning to face all that open space and yelling at the top of her lungs, “Razer Bennington has a perfect cock, and it’s all mine. Do you hear me? He’s all mine.”

Shooting up from the rock, I tackle her, clamping my palm over her mouth as she hoots at the top of her lungs.

“Don’t do that. What if someone hears you?”

“Up here?” She gasps for breath under my weight, while her hands explore my back. “No one’s going to hear me.”

I kneel between her legs, trace my palms up the inside of her thighs. “Are you sure about that?”

Her eyes widen as I stroke her through her panties. She’s wet instantly, her breathlessness replaced by tiny panting whimpers as I push the silk aside to push a digit into her while my thumb rubs circles over her clit. “I’m pretty sure.”

“Good.” I push her shirt up over her bra, licking and sucking her breasts through the thin material until she’s arching into my hand. Until those whimpers turn throaty. “I want to hear you scream my name when you cum, beautiful.”

“Raze. Raze. Raze.” She chants my name like a prayer while I caress her most sensitive spots, each time getting louder, closer to orgasm.

And when she finally cums on my fingers, her muscles clenching around me she cries out my name so loud I’ll always carry the sound with me. It’s the most perfect thing I have ever heard.

Then I lift her up, taking my time kissing her mouth, her neck, her shoulders while her breathing slows, and the sweet flush in her cheeks subsides. She’s everything I imagined and more, and each time I lie to her, to myself, telling her excuses for why this thing between us can’t last, the ache slices a little deeper.

Chapter Twelve

Claire

Mace decides I’m monopolizing Razer, and that the two of them should spend some time together without having to babysit, so they head out for the afternoon. I don’t think Raze is too happy about it. Not that he doesn’t want to spend time with his best friend, but we’ve been keeping our secret for a week now, sneaking around behind Mace and Tommy’s backs. It’s making it a little difficult to look them in the eye when they ask what we’ve been up to. We’ve always been such a tight knit family that hiding anything from them feels like a betrayal.

With Razer gone, though, I have the opportunity to get some well overdue work done, as well as contact my lawyer regarding the situation with Henley. Without Razer touching me, or whispering wicked words in my ear whenever he gets a chance, I’ll be able to concentrate.

“Hey, Tommy.” I lean over him to snag a pen from the holder on his makeshift desk. “I didn’t expect you to be home so early.”

“Hmmm,” he says, enamoured with the stack of envelopes in front of him. His laptop chimes as an email comes in and he glances up for a fraction of a second before discarding an envelope in the trashcan and flattening out the letter on his desk. “I need to do some paperwork.”

“So it isn’t because you want to hang out with your favorite sister?” I flounce onto the couch, pulling my feet up under me as I boot up my own laptop.

He pauses long enough to laugh. “You’re my only damn sister.”

I let him get back to work since I have some of my own to do. I’ve been avoiding dealing with anything related to Henley, but with the biggest donations night for House to Haven just around the corner, I have to suck it up. It takes me several hours to read through all my emails, deleting, categorizing into folders, and answering those that can’t be delegated. Mostly they’re from Henley, which just pisses me off since I have to open every damn one of them to make sure I don’t miss anything related to work. But each time I read
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me. We’re such a great team.
I want to tell him I already have a great team. They’re called brothers, and between them I have a boxer, a marine, and a magician. And that’s not counting Razer. Three of them can fuck him up, and the last can make him disappear.

Mace stalks in, Lucky at his heels. “What are you two looking so serious about?” He stops to lean over my shoulder, his hands gripping the couch on either side of my head while he reads yet another message from Henley.
She didn’t mean anything. I was just letting off steam. It’ll be different when we’re married. When you stop being such a prick tease.

“Is this the guy? Is this the asshole who’s been fucking with you?”

It’s almost hilarious that Razer comes in as Mace smacks his fist into the back of the couch, making the whole thing skid on the floorboards, while I start at the intensity of his outburst. “I’m going to murder a fucker.”

“Jesus.” Tom jumps out of his seat. “Careful of my floorboards, dickhead.”
