“Get back from where?” Syd asks as he rubs GabriELa’s head. These girls have a soft spot in his heart. He watches his eldest brother make silly soothing sounds to the babies. He nearly laughs out loud.

“Cassie was worried that she hadn’t been able to get in touch with Jaxon all day. They were supposed to have Midday Meal together. She went over to the suite about 45 minutes ago but hasn’t come back yet.” Ren was worried.

Kyd’s heart clenched. Did something happen to Jaxon? He took off for Jaxon’s suite. Ren turned towards Syd expectantly.

“I’ll go with him to check things out.” Syd turns and walks in the direction of Jaxon and Kat’s suite. He could swear that with the irrational way Kyd is behaving  that he is going into protective mode. He wonders if there will be another mating in the future.

“Jaxon Marie Malone, you put that glass down right now!” Cassie orders her friend who is crawling on the floor of the living room. She picks up another glass of Katieran Juice.

“I want another. How ‘bout you Kitty? Ari?” Jaxon slurs her words.

Kat was spread out on the sofa with one leg tossed over the back of it and the hem of her dress rose up to her mid-thigh. AriELa was on her stomach on the floor. She made an attempt to roll over but was not successful..

“When does the room stop spinning?” AriELa asks.

“Long after you throw up and pass out.” Kat grumbled from the sofa.

“What in Kitana is going on here?” KydEL barrels into the room. He takes in the scene before him but does not understand.

Cassie turns and points an accusing finger at him. “This is entirely your fault!”

Why is his brother’s docile mate yelling at him? “What are you talking about? Why are Jaxon and AriELa on the floor?”

“Don’t play dumb with me Kyd. I know what you did!” Cassie says angrily.

SydEL walks into the room and sighs heavily. He can smell the Katieran Juice. It is so strong, like the females bathed in it. “They’re drunk on Katieran Juice.” He states as he goes to check on Kat. What is the female wearing?

“Nuhuh.” Kat responds while shaking her head side to side.

Syd looks down at her in disbelief, “You’re NOT drunk?”

“NOT Katieran Juice.” She slurred.

He picks up the half empty glass dangling from her hand. He sniffs it and winces. “What is this noxious liquid?”

All three females shout at once. “TEQUILA!”

Chapter 7

KydEL marched across the room and stood in between Jaxon and his cousin AriELa. He stared accusingly down at Jaxon. “You got my cousin drunk?”

Jaxon slumps against a chair while sitting on the floor. She has a hard time gazing up at Kyd. “You’re too tall.” Then she giggles which causes the other two drunken females to do the same.

AriELa is finally able to roll onto her back. “I’m … a … big … girl.” She hiccups.

“Since you two are here, help me get them to their beds.” Cassie demands as she tries to pick up Jaxon.

“Let me.” Kyd gently moves Cassie out of the way as he picks Jaxon up into his arms. “I’ll come back for AriELa.”

At that moment TarAK came walking into the living room. “No need.” He says as he picks up AriELa from the floor.

“Why are you here?” Kyd asks suspiciously.

“I called him to help me.” Cassie explained.

TarAK glares down at the inebriated AriELa. What is the female thinking? “Your aunt is going to be angry seeing you like this when I take you back to her suite.”

AriELa shakes her head, “I’m not going back. I live here now.”

“What?” All three men asked at the same time.

“The inquisition can take place tomorrow, when they are sober. Right now they need to go to bed and sleep this off.  You can put AriELa in my old room.” Cassie starts to clean up.

SydEL picks up Kat, taking in a breath. The scent of the foreign tangy juice is very strong. But underneath that, he can still scent her sweet delicate fragrance that is hers alone. The female plays havoc on his senses.

Kyd turns to Cassie. “You are needed at home. The girls are hungry.”

“Oh crap!” Cassie took off heading back to her family. The three men carried their bundles to the bedrooms and closed the doors.

Jaxon couldn’t help it; she pressed her face against Kyd’s neck and took a deep breath. He smelled so good, a woodsy and very manly smell. If she wasn’t pissed at him, she would lick him like a lollipop. She pulled away from him when he let out a rumbling growl.

The moment Kyd had Jaxon in his arms he knew he was in trouble. All he wanted to do was tear her clothes off and bury his staff deep within her sweet warmth. He wasn’t able to do that while she was in her drunken state. He laid her on the bed and started to undress her.

Jaxon tries to swat at his hands. “What are you doing?”

“I’m taking your clothes off so that you can get comfortable.” He successfully unhooks her top buttons.

“You don’t get to take my clothes off. Go play with your girlfriend and leave me alone!” She tries to push his hands away.

He gazes deeply into her soft brown eyes with the strange black irises, so exotic. “If you are referring to Miss Carreli, there is nothing going on between us.”

“I don’t care. It’s none of my business. And … if I need help taking off my clothes, I’m sure Lieutenant Silas or Commander TylOR will …” she doesn’t get to finish her empty threat.

Kyd takes possession of her mouth with his full firm lips. They move over hers, claiming ownership. He enters her mouth with his tongue giving her hungry swipes. She moans into his mouth while he thrusts in and out. It is  glorious and end way too quickly.

“What? Why are you stopping?” Jaxon stares into his nearly black eyes with the stunning gold pupils.

“I will not take advantage of you while you are drunk.” Kyd tells her.

Damn him and his conscience. Jaxon was sexually frustrated. She looked down and found herself completely naked. He had removed all of her clothing without her realizing it. She felt him watching her.

“You are so beautiful.” He whispers in awe. Who would guess that under all those unflattering military clothes, the female bares a nicely curved body befitting of a Goddess.

Jaxon turns on her side giving him her back. “Go away I’m too tired to deal with you.” She passes out within minutes.

How was he supposed to leave her when he now had the image of her naked flesh burned into his skull? She didn’t even bother to cover herself up. He stared for a long time at her delectable ass that had been turned in his direction. No way was he leaving her. Kyd removed his own clothing and climbed into the bed beside Jaxon. He took her into his arms and felt a strange peace settle over him. Damn female.

Jaxon woke up feeling two things. One was a really bad headache. The second was a huge male hand squeezing her breasts. There wasn’t much she could do about the headache, but the hand she would take care of right now.

“Ouch! What are you doing?” Kyd yelps out in pain. Jaxon is gripping his right hand which has been squeezing her breast and twists it into an uncomfortable angle.

She moved quickly away from his body and sat up on her knees to face him. She didn’t notice that she was completely nude until she saw Kyd’s bare skin. She blushed but didn’t grab the blankets.

“You have 30 seconds to get out of my bed.” Jaxon threatens him.

“How’s that head of yours?” He asks while ignoring her threat. He turns onto his back.

He has a full blown erection swinging back and forth in the upright position. For a moment, Jaxon just stares at the huge appendage. She shakes her head to clear the lustful thoughts she is having. “My head and every other part of me is none of your concern!” Jaxon shouts at him.

Kyd moves so swiftly that Jaxon does not have a chance to block him. He grabs her by her arms and rolls her underneath him. “That is where you are mistaken. Everything about you is my concern.” His rich male voice triggers an erotic response throughout Jaxon’s body. She is wet for him. He rubs the tip of his sex against her nether lips.

“Kyd …” Jaxon moaned. He nibbled on her neck and rocked himself against her. It wouldn’t take much effort and he would be inside of her. She realized that was exactly what she wanted, him deep inside of her.

Beep … beep … beep. Kitana. Kyd groans from irritation as he reaches over to get his Comm link that he has placed on the bedside table. “Commander KydEL here. Is my presence absolutely necessary?” He sighs heavily. “Very well, give me Ten minutes.” He glances back down at Jaxon.

“Let me guess, you need to leave right?” Jaxon is pissed. The man would get her hot and ready then leave her unsatisfied.

“I’m needed in the Operations Room.” He tries to explain as he stands up and reaches for his clothes.

“Of course you are.” Jaxon comments snidely while she covers herself with a sheet.

Kyd is almost at the door when he glances at her one more time. “We’re not finished here Jaxon.”

“Yes we are.” Jaxon sticks her head up stubbornly.

“No … we are not.” He stares at her with a determined gleam in his eyes and then walks out of the bedroom.

Jaxon lays back down on the bed with a huff. Damn man!

KydEL was in a bad mood. He needed to get inside his female immediately. What? When did she become his female? He stormed through the corridors. People were jumping to get out of his way. He found Prime Leader RendEL waiting for him inside the Operations Room.

“This better be good!” Kyd demands.

Ren smirked. “Did I interrupt something?”

“Shut up.” Kyd growls.

“The Kiljorns have made more requests.”

“What now?” Kyd snaps.

“Prime Leader KadEN has requested that we exchange medical research teams to compare the breeding issues between both nations.” Ren explains.

“It makes sense.” Kyd nods as he finally takes a seat across from his brother.

“I agree. Syd will be leading a small team that will be traveling to Kiljor.” Ren tells him.

“I know you didn’t call me down here just to tell me this. What else do they want?” Kyd asks.

“Evidently, Prime Leader KadEN and AriELa are getting along. She has agreed to visit his home world.” Ren states.

“No! You can’t really be thinking about letting her go are you?” Kyd stands up again and starts pacing.

“Hey, this is your idea, remember? Introduce them and see if they are compatible or something.” Ren reminds him.

“She cannot go to another nation alone.”

“I agree. I think you should go with her as a chaperone and to ensure her security.”

Kyd doesn’t want to leave. He has unfinished business with a fiery brunette.  “How long is this expedition going to last?”

“A few weeks, it depends on Syd’s research.” Ren uses his tablet to pull up the information from earlier.

“When do they plan to leave?”

“Tomorrow morning.”

“That’s short notice. I will make the security arrangements.” Kyd comments as he starts to leave.

“They also requested Dr. Morris and Captain Malone to come as well.” Ren added.

“What in Kitana? Why?” Kyd asked but he already knew the answer. The Kiljorn Commander wanted to mate with Jaxon. He was going to kill the other male.

“Dr. Morris is interested in helping with our research. I feel that she is trustworthy enough for full disclosure. As for Captain Malone, Commander TylOr is impressed with her and would like to question her further about her experiences on Earth. Lindsey Carreli will be going as well to help with the negotiations.” Ren gets up from his seat and heads for the door. “By the way, you get to tell Syd that Dr. Morris will be coming along.”

“Why me?” Kyd questions.

“Because I have to tell Cassie that her best friend is heading off to another planet.” Ren says with frustration.

Kyd smiles. “I’ll tell Syd.”

“Why do you have to go?” Cassie whines as she watches her friend packing a bag.

“Don’t be sad Cas. I have been waiting a long time for an assignment like this and I am not turning it down.” Jaxon could not contain her excitement. She is finally getting a real assignment.

“You never turn down a mission.” Cassie states forlornly.

“Not ever.” Jaxon agrees. She bends down to peek at a sleeping GabriELa. Her twin is feeding from a very large luscious breast.

“Stop staring at my breasts.” Cassie feels self-conscious.

“But they’re so big.” Jaxon teases her as she gives her friend a comforting hug. “I’ll be back before you know it.”

Jaxon didn’t see Kyd before they left for Kiljor. She wasn’t sure what she would do or say anyway. Things were coming to a head between them. She needed to make a decision about him. She also needed to make a decision on whether she wanted to continue with the mission the EWG had given her. She felt torn.

“Hello Captain.” Lieutenant SilAS called out as he ran across the landing field to walk with Jaxon to the waiting shuttle.
