Alexis was on cloud nine. Nothing in life could ever surpass the way she felt right now. She loved the deep blue sea and the white sands that surrounded their hut. The sky at night was filled with bright stars that caused them to lie on their backs just to admire the scenery. It was one of the most beautiful environments she had ever seen, and she was glad she was able to share it with the men she was bound to spend the rest of her life with.

She wasn’t ready to go home yet. She wished she could live like this with her men forever. They had made love to her more times than she could count since they had arrived there on their honeymoon. They forwent clothes, since her men had her naked throughout the day. She definitely wasn’t going home with any tan lines.

While Max and Kane were taking a nap the day before, she told them she was going to go for a walk while they slept. She had to think of an idea to sneak away from them so she could go to the drugstore and pick up a pregnancy test. They never let her out of their sight.

While Max was in the shower this morning, Kane was on the balcony drinking a cup of coffee. She snuck into the spare bathroom so she could take the pregnancy test. She knew she was pregnant already. Alexis had missed her last period by five days and was never late.

After waiting three minutes, she took the stick and hid it behind her back as she walked onto the balcony where Max and Kane were now both sitting with a cup in their hands.

“Hey, baby, would you like a mimosa with breakfast or a cup of coffee?” Max said from his chair.

“Umm, I don’t think I should be drinking anymore alcohol for the next nine months,” she said as she smiled at them.

Kane put down the cup he was holding as he watched her pull the stick from behind her back. She waved it in the air and smiled.

“Lexi, is that what I think it is? Are you really pregnant, sweetheart?” Kane said as he walked toward her with a huge grin on his face.

“Yes. We’re pregnant!” She squealed and jumped into Kane’s arms. He swung her around and then let her slide down his body.

She then turned and allowed Max to embrace her against his chest. “Once again, you have made us the happiest men on the face of this earth.” Alexis stood between the two best things that had ever happened to her. Life was good.

“I love you both so much.”

They each took one of her hands into theirs, and Kane said, “We love you, too. Thank you for trusting us to always protect you, Lexi.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

One day at the age of thirty-nine I decided to open up my computer and start writing my first erotic romance novel. I was so excited when Siren published my first book in 2011. My husband was overjoyed that I could finally start paying for my book habit I had accumulated through the years.

Besides being a mother and wife, this was also another one of my most memorable accomplishments in life. It helps to have a loving and supportive family who has always been there for me.

If it weren’t for my fun and fabulous girlfriends I spend my vacations with, I don’t know who I would enjoy trying a fun new cocktail with in Glamis or at the river.

When I’m not working as part-time poker dealer, I spend my days as a mom with my two beautiful daughters. I enjoy spending daddy-and-mommy time with my husband once the girls are asleep. That’s when I’m inspired the most.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading an erotic novel by my favorite authors.
