Amber discovered that she was pregnant
before her first semester at college was over. Her parents weren’t
happy when she told then she’d gotten drunk at a party and had no
idea who the father was.

They were relieved when Paula called to
suggest that the Tanners could hire Amber as a nanny, which meant
she could still go to school. Apparently, she’d gotten pregnant
about the same time and could really use the help. Amber could live
with them and the two women could work together caring for the

Jerry was very happy with the arrangements,
