"Damn baby, you'd better be sure about that."

Rajan smiled and moved his booty from side to side

then stuck it out a little more. The bed creaked beneath Xavier's weight before the cop's hands were on Rajan's hips. Static electricity tickled Rajan's flesh from Xavier's hands. "Ohh!" Rajan whimpered.

The head of his dick pressed against Rajan's

entrance and ever so slowly slid deeper and deeper until Rajan's eyes crossed and his body shook. Xavier filled him to the point of bursting but Rajan didn't care. He was contented; adrenaline pumping, heart racing like a

locomotive and he didn't care. All he wanted—needed was the slow repeated penetration that would bring him

ultimately to his sweet undoing.

"Was this what you wanted?" Xavier asked

vulgarly. "How much deeper, baby?"

"As deep as you—" He trailed off and gasped for Xavier slipped even further. "Want!"

Each thrust caused Rajan to hit a fist against the

wall. He closed his eyes, bracing himself to the floor, gyrating his hips backward, pulling Xavier into him.

Unbelievable heat burned Xavier's body sweetly as

he plunged into Rajan. He held on this time, riding his lover with enough force to move Rajan's whole body

forward and back again and again. Licking his lips he reached in, sucking against the base of Rajan's neck to muffle his own cries of passion. His chest heaved

uncontrollably as he slid one arm around Rajan's body, pressing his hips backward and reaching downward. He grabbed Rajan's arousal, caressing, stroking and squeezing.

"More…" Rajan whispered, breathy.

His sweat covered back crashed into Xavier's chest

as Xavier moved them backward. Spinning around he bent Rajan over the bed and shoved further. Bracing a hand against Rajan's back, he used his lover until Rajan's whole body stiffened. His hot sheath closed around Xavier like a vise.

"Fuck!" Xavier shouted, digging his nails down into Rajan's back.

Beautiful euphoria charged through Xavier's body

even as Rajan trembled against the bed. His neck went weak and fell backward. His eyes rolled into his head and he bit into his lower lip.

"Damn… so good," he whispered, caressing Rajan's slick back.

Spurt after spurt of hot liquid quickly filled the

condom until finally he felt as if he would die from the force of it. He slipped from Rajan's body, staggered to the bed and fell on it. Reaching out he took Rajan's hand, helping his lover to the bed before pressing his eyes closed, trying to catch his breath.

"Raj… did I hurt you?"

"So damn good," Rajan replied in a weak voice.

"That's not what I meant, I…" Xavier trailed off.

Talking was making him even more tired but he had to know.

"I wasn't a virgin…"

"I know—but you were so tight and I wasn't…"

Rajan turned his face and their eyes locked. A

softness took over his features. Xavier lifted a finger and caressed his cheek. "Did I?"

"No," Rajan answered. "You didn't hurt me."

"Good," Xavier released on a breath. "Come closer."

When Rajan was resting comfortably in his arms,

Xavier closed his eyes. The final thought he had before falling asleep was one of profound clarity; one he hadn't thought about a man since he began dating.

I could get used to this.

* * * *

"X?" someone hollered.

Xavier lifted his head and looked around the room.

Rajan was snoring softly against his chest and he fell back to the bed. Perhaps he was dreaming when he heard his name being shouted. He pushed some hair from Rajan's face and dropped a kiss to his forehead.

"Xavier! You here?"

Xavier groaned. He wasn't dreaming and Marty was

in his house screaming his name. Quickly, he laid Rajan from him and reached for his pants. He was dashing out the door, hopping on one leg while pulling the pants up.

Zipping up, he hurried down the steps.

"Marty! Shh!" he called.

"What's up?"

"I have a guest and you're going to wake him."

Marty arched a brow. "Um… Something I should

know?"

Xavier glanced over his shoulder to ensure Rajan

wasn't there before leading Marty into the kitchen. He grabbed a bottle of water. "You want something to eat?"

"Nah… Ali just fed me. So tell me about this

friend?"

"His name is Rajan Anatolis…"

"The actor?"

"You know him too?"

"I love my sister, but she's obsessed with the man,"

Marty admitted, walking to the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water too. He wrung the cap off and took a drink. "Go on."

"Well he's signed up to do this new movie, right, and he's shadowing the CT for a week. Marty, I am telling you there has to be something wrong with me or him

because every time he's close I just want to rip his clothes off."

Marty chuckled. "Do we need to have that

conversation?"

"Don't be a douche! I'm just saying the attraction I feel for him is way above and beyond anything I've felt for any other man. It scares me."

"Well, I've known you ever since we were teenagers and I have to agree. I've never seen you this gaga over any other man. My mom always said, love doesn't announce its presence or warn you it's on its way. It just shows up and whacks you over the head like a freight train."

"Love? I just met the man… I mean… right?"

Marty took another drink before taking a seat.

"Listen to me. Don't go into this thinking it can't be love because you just met him. Love is love—don't put a time on it. And if you find yourself doing that then don't label what you're feeling, just… feel it. Stay out of your head, you think too much."

"Xavier?" Rajan called from up the stairs.

Before he could answer, footsteps sounded against

the wooden steps until Rajan emerged into the kitchen. To his relief Rajan was fully clothed. "Hello? Sorry, didn't know you had company."

"No trouble at all," Xavier replied, locking gaze with him. "This is my best friend, Marty Samms. Marty, Rajan Anatolis."

Marty extended a hand. "My sister is in love with you," Marty confessed.

Xavier watched the smile that crossed Rajan's face.

"Well, it's a pleasure meeting you," Rajan replied. He turned to Xavier. "I should go. I still have to finish a script I'm reading and I have to babysit the nephew. It's date night for Savaro."

"Oh, all right. Let me walk you out," Xavier said.

He wasn't sure if Rajan was running away or if he actually had to go.

"It was nice meeting you, Rajan," Marty concluded.

Following Rajan to the door, Xavier reached out

and touched his back to get his attention. "Are you leaving because you're running or because you have to go?"

"I'm not running, Xavier. I just have to go." He kissed Xavier on the lips.

Wrapping his arm around Rajan's back, he

deepened the kiss, like his life depended on it before easing back. "I'll see you tomorrow? I have the day off but I'll still be in the office."

Rajan nodded.

Stealing another kiss, he watched until Rajan's car disappeared around the corner. Closing the door he walked back into the kitchen and picked up his bottle of water.

Marty said nothing but Xavier knew precisely what his best friend was thinking.

Do not let this one go, X.

Chapter Seven

Xavier entered the station two days later even

though he had the day off. Rajan had stayed away from him and hadn't been answering his phone. That shocked him because he thought they had something good. Taking a deep breath, he fell into his seat and opened the first file.

But he kept reading the same line over and over. Rajan kept popping into his head. The way Rajan had trapped him against the mat and taken him like a man on a mission, caused Xavier's cock to jerk within his pants then going back to sleep in disappointment. The station house was quiet. It was Excelsior Day—a day when everyone hung around the house to have the family over for a BBQ and have a couple of beers. The station was running on a skeleton crew. Normally, it would be easier for him to work replying to calls from other agencies seeking help, getting information out to the US Marshalls and things like that.

"Hey X."

Xavier glanced away thankfully from the file.

"Baschinski!" He stood and hugged his old partner, who'd moved over to the US Marshalls. "Long time no see."

"No kidding. I finally got some time off. How you been?"

Pushing back in the seat, he stretched his legs out before him while Charlie Baschinski sat on the edge of his desk. He had to think about that question carefully. Finally he smiled. "I've been better. I can't seem to concentrate today."

"New man in your life?"

"Something like that. How'd you know?"

"You have that glazed look." Charlie laughed.

"You've never been this distracted over a man before. I practically snuck up on you just now."

Xavier sighed. "That's just it. I have no right getting involved with this man. He's the absolute last person I should be going gaga over."

"And why is that?"

"Trust me, Charlie… Long ass, boring story. How long you in town for?"

"Just today. The wife brought me into Eros for honey buns at some fancy restaurant name Anato-something-or-other so I thought I'd stop by here."

Xavier swallowed the lump in his throat.

"Anatolis."

Charlie smirked. "Why, X, you've gone fancy on us, have you?"

"Not a chance. Anatolis, that's a part of the long ass story we were just talking about."

After about an hour, Charlie was gone and Xavier

couldn't take it anymore. Digging through the paper on his desk, he found what he was looking for and took a breath.

He grabbed his leather jacket and his motorcycle keys with the helmet and exited the large building. The sun was bright causing him to groan but the moment he tossed his legs over the Harley and hauled his helmet on everything seemed right. He started the engine and glancing both ways he pulled from the spot he'd parked in and sped off from the parking lot. Stopping to wave at the security at the gate, he made a left turn down the street

It took about one hour to get into Eros, and as he

sped by Anatolis, he wondered if he should have stopped there first. Still he continued past the restaurant, the center of the small town into an area with some rather large houses. His house and gym could fit into one of them with room to spare. He pulled up before Rajan's house and whistled. It was beautiful.

He almost felt out of place there. Taking a breath, he pulled his helmet off and tossed his leg off the cycle.

Walking up to the front door was like walking the Green Mile. His heart hammered inside his chest telling him to run. But he needed answers. When he knocked on the front door he didn't realize it.

The door opened and a man stood there. He was

tall, long dark hair, gray eyes. Handsome but that worried Xavier. Was this man the reason Rajan left as quickly as he did? Did Rajan have a lover and felt guilty after? Jealousy surged through him but still he held his breath and stood his ground.

"Can I help you?" he asked.

"Ah… I'm Xavier Crawford…."

"Of course you are!" The man's face broke into a huge grin. "I'm Savaro Anatolis—Rajan's brother. Come in!"

"You're Rajan's brother? But you don't look like Rajan's brother."

"We get that more than you think." Savaro arched a brow. "Come on in. He'd never forgive us for leaving you outside in this heat."

"Us?"

Savaro closed the door behind them and led him

into the kitchen. There, was another man.

"Laird Anatolis," the new man introduced himself.

"The other brother."

Xavier shook their hands and accepted a beer from

them. He glanced at the bottle a little in shock then placed it on the counter. "I can't drink—I'm riding home."

"Nah, you can spend the night." Laird batted a wrist at him. "Raj won't mind."

"Trust me." Xavier chuckled. "I haven't seen him in two days. He'd mind."

The brothers exchanged a look.

"What?" Xavier asked.

"What?" Laird rolled his shoulder.

Xavier wanted to scream. "You two have that look."

"What look?" Savaro questioned with a shrug.

"This is ridiculous. I don't even think I should be here… I don't know if I should even be saying this to you.

But you're his brothers and you love him."

"Yes, we are his brothers but the love thing—the jury is still out," Savaro muttered.

Laird whacked him in the arm. "Stop that!"

"My bad," Savaro muttered.

Xavier arched a brow. "Are you guys always like this?"

Laird lifted his beer to his lips. "I admit nothing."

He smirked then drank from the bottle.

Taking a deep breath, Xavier rested both his elbows on the counter and stared at the brothers. "If you want to know the truth, we made love and he ran."

"So you did make love!" Laird blurted out.

"We knew that!" Savaro amended, clamping a hand over Laird's mouth. "We—totally knew that."

At that precise moment, Xavier realized Rajan

hadn't told his brothers what happened between them and he wanted the earth to open up and pull him under. The urge to bang his head into a desk was overly strong but he settled for taking in a deep breath, in through his nose and out his mouth while eyeing the cool beer bottle on the center island.

"Now that I've shoved my foot in my mouth again,"

Xavier said, pushing from the stool. "I should probably go."

"No. We'll behave." Savaro lifted his hands in surrender. "Let us take your coat, stay a while."

He watched them, wondering why they were being

so nice to him. Still, he didn't question it. He grabbed the beer and took a drink from it. If Rajan tossed him out, he could always take a cab home or call his friends to come get him and the bike in the pick-up. Marty was in

Amsterdam so Ali would have to ride the Harley.
