Chris said, “I know you don’t want to move, but I have to use the bathroom.” He laughed as he swatted Jamie on the ass and jumped up off the couch, causing Jamie to go rolling off onto the floor. Jamie jumped up off the floor and chased after Chris and managed to get a good swift kick on his ass cheek before Chris slammed the door on him laughing loudly.

At that moment Kevin stuck his head out of his bedroom door and then walked out, tying his bathrobe closed. Jamie looked down at himself realizing he was still naked then turned and ran back into the living room and wrapped himself up in his blanket.

Kevin said, “I hope you didn’t do that because of me.”

Jamie rolled his eyes and said, “As if. My mother is here and I don’t want her walking out here and seeing her only son stark naked, walking like he was in a saddle for a week.”

Kevin laughed and said, “I guess you are right. Hold on a second.” He walked back down to his bedroom and came bout out a few seconds later bearing two robes and three pairs of boxers. He tossed one pair of the boxers at Jamie who quickly pulled them on under the blanket and then dropped it so he could put on the robe that Kevin threw at him next. Kevin stood near the bathroom door as he pulled on a pair of boxers under his robe and then stood up quickly as he saw Mrs. McCormick walking down the stairs, dressed in a big fluffy pink robe and squashy seafoam green house shoes.

The door of the bathroom opened and Chris started to step out naked and Kevin turned his head in time to see and jumped in front of him, throwing his hands over Chris’s genitals. Chris looked startled for a second then heard a polite cough coming from the living room. He looked up and saw Mrs. McCormick standing there blushing as she pretended to be fascinated with the ceiling.

Kevin shoved Chris back into the bathroom letting go of him at the same time and threw the robe and boxers in after him, shutting the door behind him.

Mrs. McCormick continued her walk into the living room pretending nothing untoward had just happened as Chris came out of the bathroom, blushing furiously. When he walked past Kevin, Kevin whispered in his ear, “They were nice and warm. I will keep them safe for Jamie if you want.” He then leered at Chris and laughed before darting away from the smack Chris was attempting to deliver to the back of his head.

The alarm indicator from the front gate went off and instantly Kevin was on high alert. He shucked the robe as he raced to the security office and came back out with two guns in hand. He handed one off to Chris and the two ran to the door.

Chris shouted over his shoulder, “You two get down on the floor now.”

Chris shucked his robe, though it was freezing outside. It was too loose and would interfere with his movements if he needed to move quickly.

Both Kevin and Chris were now outside in their boxers and the only other thing the two had with them were guns.

Kevin slipped down the sidewalk and saw Billy standing at the gate waiting for someone to come get him. Kevin walked down to the gate whistling for Chris. Billy was shivering in the wind and his car was idling behind him, the driver’s side door open. Kevin opened the gates and Chris slipped out and checked the car. No one was in there.

Kevin said, “What happened?”

Billy said, “I went to the cemetery this morning to pay my respects to my dad. I completely forgot you guys changed the gate code last night. I didn’t remember until after my third failed attempt and it set off the alarm so I just stood here and waited like an idiot.”

Kevin laughed as he turned off the alarm.

Chris grinned and moved aside, sweeping his arm out allowing Billy to enter the gate code. Billy turned and faced the panel and entered the new code, thus turning off the alarm inside. “I feel like such an idiot,” he said.

Kevin said, “Don’t feel that way. Just come on in bud. Things happen. I will meet you guys up there. I am going to go make sure things are reactivated properly to give the McCormick’s some peace of mind.” He sprinted off to the front of the house.

Immediately Billy relaxed and turned to Chris. Chris said, “What happened?”

Billy said, “Now I feel really stupid.” He reached into his pocket and pulled his phone out and showed it to Chris. “I dropped it and stepped on it before I could stop myself. I had to figure out some other way to get your attention.”

Nodding Chris said, “Get in the car. Let’s get back up to the house. If you hadn’t noticed, I am in my underwear here and this gun doesn’t do much to keep me warm either.”

In the car Chris said, “Did you get it?”

Nodding Billy said, “In the glove compartment in a small black bag.”

Chris said, “You will have to take it inside as I have no way to sneak it in. When they are distracted, slip it under the tree.”

Billy pulled into the heated garage and nodded. Chris jumped out and ran into the house, shivering from the cold.

Jamie stood there waiting with a towel for his feet and wrapped him up in his bathrobe and hugged him to his body to allow Chris to absorb some of his own body heat. After a minute they all retired back to the sofa and Kevin lit the logs in the fireplace. When he was done, they all sat there and watched the flames of the fire as its heat filled the room.

Billy came into the living room at that moment pushing a wheeled serving cart. He said, “Would you like me to serve you all or just dig in?”

Chris said, “We can handle this ourselves. Thanks Billy.” He smiled at him and they all dug in. Chris watched as Billy backed up and bent down quickly next to the tree then stood back up and moved off to the kitchen.

After eating every scrap of food on the cart they lazed about for a few minutes before Mrs. McCormick got down on the floor and started pulling presents out from under the tree and handing them around. She made sure each person had one gift each and then they all opened them before starting on the next round.

For the next hour there was a lot of laughter and smiling and talking. Each of the staff members took their turn with the family receiving their gifts, including an envelope with a thousand-dollar cash bonus each.

While Chris, Jamie, Mrs. McCormick and Kevin all sat there drinking coffee and examining their presents afterward, Chris became more and more nervous.

Finally, he could stand it no longer and stood up walking over to the tree. There hidden on a branch behind an ornament was a small velvet box. He reached in and snagged it out and walked back over to the couch.

He slipped the contents out of the bag and dropped it onto the floor and as Jamie looked up at him, Chris opened the box and dropped to one knee at the exact same time. He just stared at Jamie, not trusting himself to speak, but allowing his eyes to do all the asking.

Tears made silent treks down Jamie’s face as he sat there stunned. He slid off the couch and knelt in front of Chris and held out his left hand. Chris took his hand and slipped the ring on his finger, kissing him, their tears mingling together.

Chris pulled back first and opened his mouth to say something when the room was suddenly filled with bright sparkles and a blast of warmth, circling them all, along with the scent of honey and cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread and crisp clean snow.

Everyone stayed where they were and stared around them in amazement, the entirety of the staff running into the living room to see what was going on. They all turned and stared at the fireplace and a man with olive colored skin, glowing preternaturally, all lean muscles, his black eyes smoldering, wearing a Santa hat and a bright green jockstrap covering a very large bulge in the front and accenting a beautifully curved bubble butt and black leather jackboots stood there smiling at them all. Neither Kevin nor Chris even thought about drawing their guns.

The man opened his mouth and said, “Santa never ignores a letter. I just want to make sure the situation is right before answering some. He winked at them, made a throwing motion at Chris before touching the side of his nose and vanishing up the chimney in a swirl of sparkles that smelled like freshly baked bread.

Chris stuck his hand out automatically and the sparkles swirled around his hand. When they vanished, they had left behind a gold ring with a band of emeralds embedded in the band, flush flat along the surface. Exactly like the one had had placed on Jamie’s finger moments before, but Jamie’s had blue sapphires Chris’s favorite color.

“HO, HO, HO!” rang through the house and everyone sat there in stunned silence.

Chris leaned over to Kevin's right said as Jamie leaned over to his left side and together they whispered, “Come into the play room. We have one more Christmas present for you.”

They stood up and walked off leaving Kevin staring after them, his mouth hanging open before his face broke into a huge grin as he jumped to his feet and ran off after them.

Mrs. McCormick looked around at the remaining people in the room and said, “I don’t know about you all, but Santa is one hot piece of ass.”

Everyone started laughing.

TO ONE AND ALL:

I would like to take this moment to say to all, Happy Holidays, no matter what you celebrate this holiday season! Please remember to be safe out there. That means no drinking and driving, no drugs and driving. Try not to fight with each other. Stay warm. Remember the Veterans you have in your country who are overseas and can’t be home with their loved ones. Remember the Veterans who are at home and struggling. Try to do something nice for someone, at least once even if it is the only time of the year you do such things. Go to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter and help out. Donate clothing, money, food, toiletries, etc…

If you are celebrating alone, stay happy and try to be positive. Maybe this is what you want, maybe not. Call a friend or text them, or even get on Facebook or Twitter and talk to someone. Thank you for taking the time to read my little story. Love you all! ☺

Merry Christmas!
