“That too.” I pointed to her bra.

She obeyed and nodded toward my pants, wanting me to do the same. I all but ripped them off but left my boxers on.

Once our clothes were in a heap on the floor, I
lay on the bed but quickly felt awkward when I noticed my sock-covered feet. “Wait a second,” I whispered, tugging them off.

Giggling, Noelle crawled over me and settled her ass on my thighs. The heat of her pussy radiating against my skin enticed me
.
I pushed two fingers inside and was met with warmth, wetness, and tight muscles. I wanted,
needed
, to feel more. Groaning, I slipped in a third finger.

Noelle’s eyes went wide.

Her legs tensed.

It didn’t sound as if she were breathing.

“Relax,” I whispered, not sure how to take her response. Did it hurt? Was she caught off guard?
I brought my lips to hers and murmured my questions. She curved her body against mine but didn’t answer.

I asked again, “How does it feel?”

I knew how it felt. The answer was in the wetness coating my fingers and sexy whines against my ear.

I still needed to hear her say it.

I licked the skin on her collarbone. “Does it feel good?”

She dropped her head to my shoulder and nodded.

“Tell me.”

“It feels good.
So good. Oh, God.” Her voice was low and strained as if she were trying to hold in a cry.

“Look at me.” My voice was commanding; I needed to make sure she was telling the truth.

She held my gaze, and then her mouth dropped open as her pussy tightened around my fingers.

“Yes.” Greedy and wanting to make her orgasm strong, I pushed deeper.

Noelle gasped, clenched her eyes shut, and blindly reached for me. I guided her hands,
hooking them into the waistband of my tented boxers.
Noelle opened her eyes and licked her lips before dipping her head, but I stopped her. “Sit on it.” I bucked my hips, hoping to move this shit along.

“Condom?”

“Back pocket of my pants.”

She jumped off the bed. Noelle dropped low like she did at the club and grabbed my pants. She had no idea how much her enthusiasm turned me on.
After she found her prize, she turned
around wearing nothing but a wide grin.
She dropped her gaze from my
from my face to my hand, which was stroking my dick; I was
that
anxious.

She batted my hands away, dropped an openmouthed kiss on the tip of my dick, and
rolled the condom on. I almost busted a nut right there. With how long it had been since another hand touched my dick, I was surprised I was holding on at all.

Slowly, she sank onto me; I couldn’t stop the moan that came from somewhere deep inside me. Closing my eyes, I bit my tongue, and squeezed her hips to still her movements. I couldn’t talk, but I needed to get myself together—get my damn cock under control—before I lost it.

Noelle brought her lips to mine. Her shifting like that pulled me in deeper. Her tits were so soft against my chest.
I bucked my hips involuntarily, the feel of her overwhelming me.
Starting off slow, she rocked on top of me.

I didn’t have to guide her. I didn’t need to say anything. She knew. Her body knew mine.

“My fucking God.” I dug my fingers into her side, holding on for dear life. She rocked over me, pushing me deeper into her with each pass.
She roamed her hands over her body and tweaked her nipples.
Her head lolled as she chased her orgasm. I lay there watching. This was her show and I, her captive audience. But I needed to hear it was good for her like it was for me.

In fact, I needed to hear it was better for her. “Does it—”

Noelle wrapped her hands around my ankles as I sat up.
She was amazing this way, leaned back and opened up for me.

“Fuck!” The feeling was almost too intense.

We pushed and pulled. Her nails dug into the skin near my foot, while I kept a tight grip on her sides.

Noelle’s whimpers, her tits bouncing, her squeezing the life out of my cock, and all the other little nips and clawing undid me. Without warning, my orgasm crashed over me.

I struggled to catch my breath all while cursing and thanking every fucking god I could think of; that was the strongest nut I’d had in a long, long time.

“Damn, girl.” I flopped backward onto the bed. Her face was flushed and glistening. Her short hair pointed in every direction all while sticking to her face. But her smile was what held my attention. She looked fucking beautiful. I had no idea why she was so content when she hadn’t come. I wasn’t going to let her go until I made that happen, repeatedly.

“Come here.” I pulled her to me. “We’re not done.”

-SIX-

A few hours later, I was spent and barely able to move. It was close to dawn. The sun wasn’t out, but through the partially opened curtains, I saw the sky was lightening.

Right when I was almost asleep, music started playing.

“Oh, God.” Noelle groaned, flying off the bed.
Through sleepy eyes I watched her, amused, as she flung things around
—her purse, my pants, even her bra—as the song that doubled as her ringtone played on repeat in the background.

She pulled her cell phone out of her jacket with a triumphant cheer, making me grin. Not many women could pull off sexy
and
cute at the same time, but Noelle did.

“Hello. Hello?” With a cheesy grin on her face, she listened to the caller. “Thank you.” She paused, shifting her attention to me. “Uh yeah. Sorry,
hon, but right now isn’t a good time.”

Noelle sat on the edge of the bed, the phone pressed to her ear. She offered the caller an occasional hum and nod.

I pursed my lips and wondered who she was talking to. Was it her man? Fuck, why do I care? It wasn’t as though I planned on seeing her again. We had fun. This was just for tonight. At the same time, I didn’t sign up for any kind of bullshit where I, even if it was for one night, was someone’s little secret.

“OK, yeah.” Her voice pulled me out of my head. “I’ll call you when I’m not busy.” She glanced away when I cocked an eyebrow. “Yes, yes. Booby gropes to you, too.”

It was none of my damn business, that was a fact, but I asked anyway, “Everything OK?”

“If you must know,” Noelle raised an eyebrow and rolled her neck, giving me attitude and calling me out all at the same time, “that was one of my friends from last night. Apparently my girls, along with your boys, went out to eat afterward because someone was craving Chinese food.”

I smiled and shuddered. Warren. Every time we went out, he insisted on stopping at Chow Chow afterward.

“Anyway, she was calling to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and check in since they hadn’t heard from me. You probably have a missed call, too.”

“Ah.” I nodded. I could have and should have apologized for my nosiness, but I didn’t. It wouldn’t be genuine. “So
today’s
your actual birthday?”

She yawned, barely getting her words out. “Yeah. So I need to rest because we have some things planned for later.”

Noelle didn’t explain any of her plans, nor did she ask me what
I
was doing later or if I wanted to hang out with her.
Her brush-off made me feel like a chick. I was a little pissed and confused
.

By the time we checked out, I lost count of how many times I had dropped hints I was hungry. I hoped Noelle would take the bait.

She never did.

Either she couldn’t take a hint or she chose to play dumb.

Once downstairs, I asked the clerk to have the valet bring the car around. I was lost in my thoughts and starting straight ahead until Noelle popped a quick kiss on my cheek and said, “Thanks for a great night.”

She turned and flounced away while I stood there dumbfounded.

“Whoa.” I grabbed the crook of her arm and pulled her back. “Where the hell do you think you’re going?”

“The
T
is right there.” She pointed down the block.

I craned my neck past the people strolling by.

“And?”

“And …” She gave me a strange look. “I would like to catch it?”

“But why?”

“Uh, because I want to go home?”

“Why do you keep answering my questions with questions?”

“Why are
you
questioning me instead of letting me go?” With her hands on her hips, she lifted her chin.
God she was sexy.

“I just …” I realized I didn’t have an answer for her. But what kind of dickhead did she think I was? What kind of man would let her run off to the train after being with her the night before? “Let me take you home.”

“It’s OK.” She shook her head. “Let’s just—”

“I
said
, ‘lemme take you home’.”

She huffed. “Fine, but don’t complain
if you’re late for your breakfast
or whatever it is.”

“My breakfast?”

“Yeah, you’ve been going on and on all morning about how you like to go to Newcomb’s on Saturdays. So don’t complain if I make you late.”

I guess my obvious ploy to get her to go to breakfast with me hadn’t been so obvious.

New tactic. “Have you eaten there?”

“Where?”

“Newcomb’s. Newcomb Farms,” I amended. “Have you eaten breakfast there?”

“Yeah, once.”

“We can go,” I said in a rush. “If you want. I’ll treat you to a birthday breakfast.”

She smirked with the same expression she’d had at the club after her shot display. Victory mixed with cockiness. I shook my head; she had caught on to my hints all along.

“Well played.” I nodded and wagged a finger at her. “Well played.”

“So, Noelle.” I lowered the volume of the car radio. She was quiet, and not knowing what she thought about me—about last night—made me want to crawl out of my damn skin. “You grow up around here?”

She shook her head. “I spent some of my time here, but I was raised in Georgia, actually. A small town you probably never heard of.”

I didn’t know anything about Georgia, small towns or not, and didn’t press her for more info. “You been here long?”

“A few years. What about you?” She shifted in her seat to face me. “Did you grow up here?”

“Born and raised.” I glanced at her for a second and then at the road.

“You don’t sound like it.”

“Meaning?”

“You know.” She flapped her hands around. “Don’t people from Boston pronounce ‘car’ like ‘cah’? Stuff like that.”

I barked a laugh and nodded. “Some of us do, yeah.
But no, not me. How ’bout you? Shouldn’t you sound more country coming from the South?”

“Touché.”

She was so pretty when she laughed.

“Thanks, by the way,” I said. “You know, for agreeing to come to breakfast.”

“You’re thanking me because I’m letting you buy me food? That’s new.”

Well, this was awkward. I didn’t know what to say, so I chose to say nothing.

Both of us stayed quiet for the remainder of the twenty-minute drive to the diner.

When we arrived at my favorite Newcomb’s location, the small one nestled in Milton, I could tell something was up with Noelle. As soon as we ordered our food—a New England skillet and pancakes for me, an omelet with everything for her—she let out a few long sighs.

I quirked my eyebrow but didn’t ask. If she wanted to tell me what was bothering her, then I would gladly listen. However, I’d never been one to pry or beg someone to talk to me if they didn’t want to. We ate in silence, both of us choosing to focus on our food.

By the time we settled in for the ride to Noelle’s place, the awkwardness had become downright painful. I didn’t know how to fix it. From the corner of my eye, I saw her lean her head against the window. She looked tired, possibly hung over. I fought the urge to grab ahold of her hand. Unfamiliar with the Milton area, Noelle got us lost twice before conceding to the GPS. The robotic drone of the navigation system was all we heard most of the way to Noelle’s loft.

Last night had ended great, but she’d been acting weird all morning. Then again,
maybe I was being weird; I was so out of practice with this sort of thing and had no idea what to say. “Thanks for all the great fucking” didn’t seem right
.

Noelle thought differently. “Thank you for last night,” she said in a rush and had the passenger door halfway open before I pulled to a complete stop. “And breakfast this morning,” she added as she climbed out. “It was fun.” She was inside her b
uilding before I could respond.

Dead on my feet, I staggered through my door and stopped short when I saw the mountain snoring on my couch.

“Hey.” I stomped over and shook its shoulder. “Hey! Get the fuck up.”

“What! What?” The guy jumped up, and I recognized Corey, the DJ from the club the night before. “Oh. Hey, Miles. ’Sup, man?”

“’
Sup
?” I narrowed my eyes. “What the fuck are you doing on my couch?”

“Warren let me in.”

“Uh huh? And where is he?”

“His apartment.”

Without another word to Corey, I stomped down the hall to Warren’s.

“Warren!” I banged on the door, not giving a shit about how much noise I made. “Open the fucking door.”

He answered a few minutes later with a sheet wrapped low around his waist. Warren scowled and glared when he saw me. “Where’s the fucking fire?”

“What’s your friend doing on my couch?”

“Corey? He’s still here?”

I don’t know why he seemed so confused. “Clearly.”

“Give me a second.” He shut the door in my face, but I knew he wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon and made my way back to my place. Inside, the snoring serenade was still on. I glared at the back of Corey’s head, too tired to make a bigger deal out of him being in my apartment than I already had. So, I sent him a silent threat that his snoring better not fuck up my sleep or he would get an elbow to the back of the head.

Once in the quiet of my room, I peeled off my clothes and slid under the cool covers. I feel asleep with a smile on my face and thoughts of the night I had with Noelle in my head.
