“I have never wanted someone else’s boyfriend/girlfriend before.” He said, as he did his shot, followed by Serena, Cindy, Will, Frank and Esme.

“Cindy!” Jax said to her very sternly.

“What, I was like eight! Jenny Matthews was going out with Ben Freeder and I liked him too.” She explained.
You could see the relief on Jax’s face, but I could see right through her.

“That was fun, well thought of, Es.” I said, as I pulled her in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“Well, happy birthday. I’m exhausted and need to go home.” She said to me as she hugged me back.

“How you getting home?” I asked her, she shrugged her shoulders and looked at Marcy. Marcy looked back to her and said;

“Do you mind if I stay a bit longer?”

“Not at all, I will get a taxi.” She told her.

“No, I will take you home. Got my bike.” Drew said as he winked at her.

“You have been drinking.” Es said to him.

“Only had a couple of shots; I will be fine. Besides you are only down the road. I can stop at yours for coffee.” He suggested.

She smiled at him and nodded her head, said goodbye to everyone and asked me to look after Marcy.
I told her I would, but what I was really thinking was that I hoped that I would be doing more than looking after her.

Cindy and I had left Rick's party and we were in our hotel room; I couldn't get Esme out of my head. Who was that bloke, Drew? She said she knew him for a while, was he an old boyfriend? He took her home, that made me feel a bit uneasy, what if he touched her? Kissed her? I was not ok with that. I felt bad for feeling that way. I was in a relationship and I loved Cindy. I mean, she blew my mind, the things she did to me reminds me she was all mine. I loved it when she was spontaneous, and the bathroom treat was one that was going to stick around in my mind for quite some time.
In fact, I had promised Cindy to treat her, too. Oh, I was going to enjoy this.

"Babe?" I called out.

"In here." It sounded like her voice was coming from the bathroom, so I made my way over there. When I walked through the bathroom door, Cindy was in a bubble bath. I wasted no time in stripping my clothes off and joining her.
She giggled and said; "That didn’t take you long."

"You were looking all sexy and I wanted to run my hands all over your skin."
Her eyes changed and all I could see was desire in them.

I sat in front of her in the bathtub facing her, she was lying back and relaxing and I began to run my hands up her calves and up to her thighs. When I couldn’t reach anymore, I grabbed hold of her legs and slid her towards me, so her legs were over the top of mine and she was now straddling me. Her chest came right up to my face, I wasted no time in licking and sucking at her nipples. She moaned in appreciation and that encouraged me to start biting and sucking them harder.

"Jax…" She moaned quietly. I had my hands all over her, running up her back, over her shoulders, in her hair, down over her breasts, over her stomach and finally found her sweet spot. As I ran my fingers over her clit, she shuddered. I lifted her out of the bath and positioned her on the side of the tub. I threw one of her legs over my shoulder and started nibbling my way up the inside of her thighs. I finally reached her clit and I gave it one swipe of my tongue and then leant back so the cold air would hit it and make it more sensitive. I heard her gasp and I wasted no time burying my head between her legs, licking and sucking at her. I moved towards her hole and ran my tongue over it before pushing it inside. She bucked against my face, I held still and let her ride it out.

Before I knew it, she was breathing heavily and screaming and then I could taste her arousal. I was very worked up and could feel my erection straining and my balls getting tighter. I climbed out of the tub and picked Cindy up and placed her on the unit by the sink, I spread her legs wide and positioned her feet on the end of the unit so she was spread out for me.

"Don't move." I told her as I ran into the bedroom for a condom. As I was walked back to her, I positioned the condom over my very hard cock. I stopped in front of her to catch my breath as I saw her running her fingers up and down in between her wet folds.

"Damn, Cindy, you're so hot." I growled. I then approached her, grabbed her by the wrist and put her fingers in my mouth. I moaned in appreciation and lined myself up to her and thrust inside, she was so wet, I could move easily, pulling all the way back out so just my tip was inside her and then thrusting forward, each time with more and more force.

It didn’t take long for us both to be screaming and I held Cindy's hips still as I pumped every bit of my arousal into her.

Chapter 16

Esmeralda

"Hey, you!" Rick called to me as he entered The Coffee Bean. He pulled me up from where I was sitting and gave me a hug. "Thanks for coming to the party last night. Did you have fun?"

"Yeah, we did. Thanks for the invite."

"Hey, guys, what can I get you?" The waitress asked.

"Just a coffee, please." I answered.

"Coffee and scrambled eggs on toast, please." Rick told her. She said it would be right out and left us to it.

"Did Marce get home ok last night? Hope you didn’t mind me leaving her there?"

He smiled to himself and said; "I was very glad you left her with me."

"Wait, what's that smile? Did something happen between you two?"

He didn’t answer me straight away, he nodded and said; "I hope you don't mind, is it going to make things awkward as we dated first?"

"We didn’t date first; we went out on one date. I'm glad to have you as my friend. Also,
so
excited that you and Marce are getting it on. My two best friends. Yay!"

"Ok, it’s not like we are getting married or anything... You really don’t mind?"

I shook my head and then the waitress turned up with our order. Rick wasted no time in devouring his eggs.

"Hungry?" I laughed.

"Starving, meeting up for breakfast was a brill idea, Es." He winked at me. "So, Drew got you home ok?"

"Yeah, I forgot how much I loved it on the back of a bike."

"Really? Think you will get one?"

"No, my brother would kill me." I laughed.
I saw Rick check his phone and frowned; "What's up?"

"I gotta get going in a minute, band meeting... Do you think I could get Marcy's phone number from you?"

"She didn’t give it to you?"

"No, we were a bit preoccupied." He winked.

"Yeah, sure, give me your phone." I put Marcy's number in for him. "Speak of the devil."

I saw Rick look up to where I was looking and he responded with a smile. He got out of his seat as Marcy approached.

"Hey, what you doing here?" I asked her.

"I went by your place and you weren't there, so thought I would come grab a coffee."

"Great, you can join me, Rick is just leaving."

"Oh?" Marcy asked, trying to hide her disappointment.

"Got a band meeting, better get going." He then gave Marcy a kiss on the cheek and whispered in her ear. She nodded shyly.

"Bye, Es, thanks for breakfast and the chat." He winked at me and then left.

"So... What did he whisper to you?" I asked, being nosey.

She looked at me and said "What? Why? Um...."

"It's ok; he told me you got it on last night."

"He did?... Was he like… Bragging or something?"

"No, not at all, he asked if it bothered me as we went out on that date."

"Really?" She sounded surprised.

"Yeah, so what did he whisper?"

"He just said he would call me later, but that’s not going to happen as he was out the door before I had a chance to give him my number."

"He got it from me."
Marcy perked up and smiled.
"You really like him, don't you?"

She nodded, so I carried on with; "Did you sleep with him?"

"No, we just kissed, lots. He walked me home and that was that. I wasn’t really sure what to think." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, he definitely likes you."

Marcy squealed and did a little happy dance in her seat. Then she said; "Did anything happen between you and Drew?"

"What? No. Why would it? He gave me a lift home, came in for coffee and then left, nothing happened"

"Ok, so do you think Rick is going to ask me out?" I laughed as Marcy attempted to change the conversation back to her again.
I nodded at her.
We got some more coffee and chatted for a while.

It was so lovely to see her happy. Marcy didn’t have the best track record with blokes, so I really hoped it worked out with Rick, he was a good guy.

It was the evening after Rick’s party and I couldn’t get Esme out of my head, I felt so bad leaving so soon after we almost kissed the other night at her place and although I saw her briefly at the party, I hadn’t had a chance to talk to her properly. Cindy was watching some chick flick, so I told her I needed to go to the bar to sort out some things; she didn’t seem at all interested, she just told me to be quiet as she was watching the film.
I left our hotel and made my way to The Archer, hoping that Esme would be working.

I walked into the bar, and she was there talking and laughing with some regulars.
She saw me arrive, smiled and then made herself look busy.

"Hey, Es."

"Jack and Coke?" She asked.

"Um... No, thanks. Can I talk to you?"

"Sure."

"In private?"

"Um... My break is in fifteen minutes, can it wait til then?"

I nodded to her and said; "Got some work to do, I will be over there." I said pointing to the table furthest away. She nodded and told me she would be over soon.

Waiting for Esme to come over was like torture, I thought I knew what I wanted to say but it was all getting jumbled up in my head. I started to feel nervous as I saw her approaching me.
She handed me a bottle of water.

"Thanks."

She sat down opposite me, opened her bottle of water and began taking large gulps.
"You ok?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to talk to you since the other night... I wanted to apologise for almost kissing you. I got carried away with the romance of the song, I had so much fun with you, it felt almost right. But, I am with Cindy, I'm not a cheater. I really do like you, maybe if things were different..." She cut me off.

"Jax, honestly don't worry about it. I haven’t given it a second thought. These things happen. I know you have a girlfriend, hopefully we can still be friends?"

"Yeah, definitely. Thanks, Es, for understanding. I didn’t want you to think I was leading you on."

"Let's just forget about it and move on."

"Ok, great. So as we are friends... Did you get home ok… With Dan, was it?"

"Drew, and yes he got me home fine."

"You know I would have taken you home, you didn’t need to get some random guy to do it."

"He offered and you had Cindy with you, don't think she would have been too happy. And just for the record, he wasn’t a random guy, we went to school together, I’ve known him for years."

"I guess you’re right, just didn’t want anything to happen to you, that’s all."

She nodded and smiled at me and went back to the bar.

That was easier than I thought it would be, though I was a bit unhappy that she said she hadn’t given it a second thought, I knew I had no right to feel like that, but you feel what you feel, right? And as for this Drew guy? She didn’t seem to want to talk about him, maybe he was the reason that she hadn’
t
given me a second thought. I hated the fact that that night meant more to me than it did to her.

Esmeralda

I felt a bit relieved that Jax had been in to talk to me tonight. I had been thinking about that night a lot, and what it meant. I was obviously gutted about what he said, but knew that he had a girlfriend, and I was glad that he was a good guy. I felt better that the air between us had been cleared and that we could go back to being friends. He did seem protective over me though… Like with all the questions about Drew… It was like he didn’t want me and he didn’t want anyone else to have me either. That was confusing.

"Hey, Es." Rick called out as he came up to the bar.

"Hey, what you doing here? It’s closing time."

"Just needed to check on music for tomorrow night, won’t be long."

He walked away, went over to see Jax and then disappeared back stage. When he came back out, he and Jax made their way over to the bar and Jax told me he was going, so we said our goodbyes and he left.

"I’ll walk you to your car." Rick offered.

"Ok, thanks. Let me grab my bag... Paul, I'm off now."

"Ok, thanks, Esmeralda. See you tomorrow." Paul, the bar manager, called back.
Rick opened the door for me and I walked through it in silence.

"Hey, you ok? You seem quiet?" He asked.

"Yeah, it's just... Oh, never mind."

"Come on, tell me."

"Ok, but you can’t say anything, I haven’t even told Marce."

He nodded at me, so I continued with; "Jackson came over to my house last week, he knew I was in the middle of writing a song and he wanted to help me with it.” I looked down at my feet; “… We had a meal and some wine, and ended up writing this great duet. We were laughing and everything and... And... We almost kissed. You ringing him interrupted us... I feel so awful and awkward. I know he has Cindy. But I wanted him to kiss me and I think he wanted it too... He came in tonight to apologise." I looked back up at Rick and could feel myself blushing. I wasn’t very good at opening up to people, but Rick was so easy to talk to.

"Wow, ok... Wasn’t expecting that. You write songs? That’s great."

"Really? That’s what you say? You’re not surprised about the almost kiss?"

"I don’t know what to say, he knows I'm not a fan of Cindy, I've been telling him for ages that he can do better, but he loves her... But then I have also noticed how protective he seems to be over you."

He pulled me in to a hug; it felt good to have told someone.

“I’m exhausted; I need to get home, thanks for listening.”

“Anytime, Es, I’m always here for you.” He smiled as I got into my car, I started the engine and opened my window as Rick shouted across the car park; “Can’t blame the guy, he would be crazy not to fancy you.” I wound my window up laughing, feeling a lot better about things, thanks to Rick.
