“Why, of course.”

The other men followed suit, asking their wives to dance—and even Finn asked Donna, who surreptitiously gained permission from Aunt Aileen, since dancing with a man was forbidden to her. They all formed a line, bowed and curtsied, then proceeded to kick up their heels, and swing around to the music.

“I have never been so happy in my life as I am with ye,” Kirstin said to Gregor as he whirled her.

“And every blessed day gets better and better.” He leaned in to nuzzle her neck.

Kirstin blew out a contented sigh. “Aye, I cannot wait to see what the future holds.”

“I know what it holds,” Gregor said, a wiggle of his brows. “After this feast, I’m going to whisk ye upstairs to our chamber, and I’m going to…” He leaned in close and whispered all the naughty, sinful, delicious things he was going to do with her body, until her face heated and her skin tingled. “But for now, we dance.”

And then he was lifting her into the air, whirling her in a circle, and shouting to all who would listen that he’d married the most beautiful, loving, giving, wondrous creature in all of Scotland.
