The bathroom door opened and she looked up. Her mouth slowly fell open at the sight of his damp, naked body. Tan skin stretched over taut muscles. His wet, dark hair still had droplets of water forming at the tips. Her gaze ran over his body not once, but twice. Why hadn’t she noticed this appetizing man before? Her visual assault of his body stopped at his amazing, green eyes. He watched her watch him. She smiled, embarrassed at the grin on his face.

He knew she liked what she saw.

She could think of a million ways to make Blake late for work. His smile grew wider as he crossed the room. He crooked his finger indicating he wanted her to meet him half way. She shook her head no. He cornered her against the side of bed.

He pressed his damp, naked form against her. “Mmm,” she moaned, not meaning for it to escape her mouth.

“Are you okay, Doni?”

“Really, I am,” she answered as Blake wrapped his arms around her.

“Has anyone ever told you, you look breathtaking fresh out of the shower?” She breathed in his scent.

His hands moved over her body. “It sounds the best coming from you.” He pulled her close to his body, the heat of him melting into her.

“Are you sweet-talking me?”

“I have a world of things I would like to sweet-talk you into. Unfortunately I have to go to work.” He kissed her lips.

She let her hand slip between their bodies, taking his hard on in her hands. “Will you be back tonight?”

“Absolutely,” he said without pause. “I will miss the hell out of you.”

She wasn’t expecting the overwhelming feeling of disappointment. She didn’t want him to go. She wanted to spend the day with him. “I feel the same way, Blake.”

Taking her lips with his, she leaned into him enjoying the feel of his body against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck needing the safe feel of him.

“Have dinner with me tonight?”

“Hmm, what?”

“Dinner, Donia. A real date—you and me.”

She stepped back from him. “You’re asking me on a date?” She didn’t know why going on a date with Blake freaked her out. She had just spent all night in bed with this man and stood in his naked arms now. She had no problem with him sexually.

Her body hummed now from his touch, wanting him more as he grew hard against her body. The physical attraction was definitely there. She hadn’t thought beyond that. He gave her time to mull it all over in her mind and she felt bad to put him in that situation. He deserved her one hundred percent certainty. “If you don’t want to go to dinner, we can just meet tomorrow at the party,” he said, moving away from her.

She saw the rejection forming on his face. “Hey.” She grabbed his arm. “I want to spend more alone time with you. Where do you want to have dinner?”

A slow grin grew across his face warming her heart. “Would you like to meet me somewhere?” She continued. “I thought I would explore the area while you are at work. Is there any place around the hotel that is really good to eat?”

“How about I pick you up and take you some place special, awesome food, great atmosphere. I’ll stop by to get you around seven.”

“Okay.” She watched him dress in the clothes he had on the evening before. She stood before him in an oversize, white bathrobe.

“I’ll see you tonight.” He tried to kiss her cheek. She moved her face, connecting his mouth with hers much more intimately than she originally intended. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he pulled her closer, deepening the kiss. They parted with heavy breaths and hooded eyes. Their hands limply fell from the other. He took her hand in his. “I could get used to that,” he murmured against her lips, kissing her again.

“I’ve really been missing out all this time,” she whispered back. She put a hand to his face smoothing a thumb over his lower lip. Her heart skipped when he lightly kissed the pad of her digit.

“I have to go. I’ll see you tonight.”

“Hurry up, seven o’clock.”

He smiled, opening the door to her hotel room. He winked at her before leaving.

She shut the door behind him. Her body went limp and she leaned against the closed door. Her feelings for Blake were getting stronger after one intimate encounter. She needed to shower and try to clear her head.

Chapter Eleven

“Where are you?”

Donia groaned and buried her head in the pillow when she heard her friend’s voice on her cell.

After her shower she slipped back in the bed, exhausted from the night before. She hadn’t meant to fall back to sleep for this long. She checked the bedside table—
5:00 p.m
. “What do you want, Lana?”

“I’ve been calling you since yesterday. I even stopped by your house. You weren’t home.”

“I wasn’t home last night.”

“No shit, Sherlock. I’m sitting here worried sick. Don’t get cute with me, sister!”

“Okay, okay. I was with someone last night.”

Lana quieted for a few seconds before she let out an exasperated breath. “Lord, help us. Here we go again. What’s his name?”

Donia brought the covers up over her head. She could smell the scent of him on the sheets—his masculine cologne mingled with the smell of sex. She bit her lip to keep from moaning, thinking about everything they had done the night before. “Earth to Doni!” Lana’s voice cut into her thoughts.

“What! Oh, um, it’s no one that you would know,” she lied.

“Well, where did you meet
this brotha
?”

Damn it.
Her reputation for only dating within her race preceded her. Lana automatically assumed she was with another tall, dark, and handsome man. Most likely someone she met at a local bar or club. Little did she know, Blake helped her warm the sheets last night.
Good ol’ reliable, rock-hard, sexier-than-hell, surprising-the-living-daylights-out-of-me, nonbrotha, make-my-toes-curl—Blake.

A smile broke across her face. She couldn’t wait to see him again. She missed him already.

“Sweetie. The silence is scaring me. Are you okay?”

“Yes, yes, I’m fine. It’s just this guy…we hit it off so well—”

“So well you decided to spend the night with him?” Lana finished the sentence for her. She could hear the disapproving tone in her friend’s voice, and she didn’t like it. But she couldn’t say or do anything to tip Lana off about Blake. She didn’t want to give that information up just yet. “Donia, one-night stands, honey, really?”

“I know, I know, Lana please don’t preach at me. Be happy for me. This guy is
amazing
.”
No lie
.

“Well, does
Mr. Amazing
have a first name?”

“Uh…”

“Please tell me you know his name, Donia.”

“His name…”

“Yes, you know that thing your mama gives you at birth, everyone calls you it.”

“Funny, Lana. Yes, I know his name. I’m just calling him
Amazing
for now.”

“You really are being secretive. When will we get to meet
Amazing
?” “Soon enough.”

“Well Blake’s birthday is this weekend. We are all going to Baltimore to celebrate. I know the two of you haven’t really been talking, but I’m sure he would love to see you. You
aren’t
planning on bringing this guy are you?”

“Well…”

“Oh, girl, no! You know that would break Blake’s heart. Now I know he puts up this tough-guy exterior like he isn’t into you anymore—not returning your phone calls, but, honey, he is still into you.”

Oh he was into me all right, more than you know.

“Please just think about his feelings before you bring this guy with you. We can meet him another time. Blake’s birthday isn’t the time or place.”

“Okay.”

“Good, I’m glad you agree. Have you decided what you are going to get him for his birthday?”

She lifted the sheets and looked down at her naked body.
I have a few good ideas.
She smiled to herself. “I haven’t really thought about it yet.”

“Well you better think about it today while you are out. We are leaving tomorrow after work. Are you riding down with us?”

“No, I thought I’d fly—don’t feel much like driving or riding.”

“It’s not that far of a drive honey, and why pay the money? We could easily swing by and get you. It would be fun. Road trip!”

“Sounds great, but you know…I already bought my ticket. I didn’t buy round-trip so maybe we can ride back together.”

“Okay,” Lana agreed, sounding disappointed.

She hated to turn down her friend, but how could she explain to Lana she had been in Baltimore since yesterday. She didn’t need Lana making a big deal about it. All of their friends would know the minute she hung up, and then they would all come down acting crazy about her hook up with Blake.
No thank you.
She had no idea where this thing with him was going and she didn’t need any help and or interference from Lana or their group of friends. She would let this take its own course, and enjoy it every step of the way.

She spoke with Lana a little while longer before making up an excuse that
Amazing
would be back soon to take her to dinner and she needed to make sure she showered and dressed before he came back. She clicked her phone shut and rolled back over to finish her nap.

Chapter Twelve

She could feel him moving up her body, and the delicious feel of him feasting on her body. He pulled an erect nipple into his mouth. Warm and pleasing he sucked on her mounds making the peaks ache for more of him. Mmm, what a dream. She moaned her pleasure. “Oh, Blake, that feels wonderful…I’ve been waiting for this…touch me baby—yes, right there,” she said, feeling his fingers rub over her swollen clit. “Make love to me,” she begged her lover. “I want you inside of me…just take me.”

He slid two long digits into her wet pussy, finger fucking her softly at first. She moaned her pleasure as his thrusts became harder. She panted for more. “Oh—God…yes, harder,” she panted, her head thrashing back and forth on the pillow. “Ahh, yes, baby. Fuck me!” She yelled. I’ve wanted this for so long.

“Me too, baby.” She heard his voice. Her eyes shot open and collided with a dark green gaze filled with desire and want. She wanted to speak. O
h shit, he is really here, this isn’t a dream. Blake is really touching me…so…so…well.

“Oh…yes!” She yelled out as he fingered her G-spot. “Blake!”

“Tell me, baby, do you like that?”

“I love it.”

He captured her mouth silencing every cry, moan, and lusty pant she had to offer. With one hand inside of her and one at his belt, he unbuckled his pants, letting them fall around his hips. “I want you, sweetheart,” he breathed against her mouth moving up and over her. He plunged his fingers into her again, causing her to gasp.

“What are you waiting for?” she asked.

Staring into her eyes, he pulled his slick fingers from her channel and freed his throbbing cock from his boxers. The sensation of his huge member feeling her completely caused a cry of ecstasy to escape her lips. “Are you okay?” he asked slowing his movements.

She sucked in air before responding. “I’m…fine. You feel so good.” She sighed.

He kissed her mouth. “You too, baby.” He continued moving against her.

The feel of her drenched opening swallowing his hard dick was all she could think of since he left that morning. She had been a fool to think anyone else could make her feel this way.

Before she screamed out her pleasure to the hotel ceiling, she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, pulling him in for a long kiss. Her legs clenched around his waist, locking him into place. This is where he belonged, inside of her physically and emotionally.
I’m falling for him.

He kissed the top of her head, loving the tropical scent of the oils she used in her hair. “Are you hungry?”

“Mm-hmm.” She sighed.

“I wanted to take you to dinner tonight, but seeing you naked in this bed—I couldn’t resist. I think we should just stay in tonight.”

“How did you get in?”

He ducked his head sheepishly. “I snagged the extra key card this morning before I left for work. I hope you don’t mind.”

“Not one bit,” she mumbled against his bare skin, the warmth of her breath tickling the hairs on his arm. “I just can’t believe I slept all day. It could be because someone kept me up all last night. A girl needs her rest.”

He chuckled. “You bring out the sex-crazed animal in me.”

She repositioned her body so she could look up at him. “Things were really good last night,” she said to him, her tone a bit serious.

“Yes, they were. I think they were pretty damn good just a few minutes ago too.”

She shook her head in agreement. “Will I ruin everything if I ask what that means for us?”

He felt his heart leap. “I don’t think that ruins anything. It’s just something we need to talk about.”

“I think—”

“How about I order room service and a bottle of wine and we eat over at the table and talk about this.”

She sat up bringing the sheets to her bare breast. “So is this like our first date?”

He laughed out loud. “Yeah, I guess so. Not exactly what I had in mind for us, but that’s okay. He kissed her cheek and she turned her head to catch his lips with hers again.

“I think we are past the friendly cheek kisses, Blake.” She sheepishly looked up at him.

“Mmm, this is so much better,” he growled. He leaned in for another. She put her finger to his lips stopping his movement. “I have such a taste for a big bacon cheeseburger.”

He laughed at her again.

“What! I haven’t eaten all day, damn it. You’ve taken all my energy. I’m hungry.”

“Okay, I’ll get your hamburger.”

Bacon cheese
hamburger,” she corrected.

“Yes, ma’am.”

She swatted at his bare bottom as he exited the bed.

Wrapped in oversize, white bathrobes, the two of them sat facing each other at the small, round table in the hotel room. They ate in silence, both enjoying massive bacon cheeseburgers and red wine. She wiped her mouth and took a sip. “Lana called today,” she said, breaking the silence.
