“What are we doing, Marc?” he asks quietly.

I lean my forehead against his. “I don’t know.”

He sighs and then forces me to look in his eyes. “I know I don’t want to be without you anymore.”

My heart races and words fail me.

“I know we said we’d wait until you figured things out, but I was ready to take that back the next fucking day. I don’t know what you’ve been up to, or if you changed your mind, but seeing you now…Fuck. I can’t remember why I ever agreed to let you go.”

My brain checks out and my heart takes over. Every feeling I have for Lincoln rushes forward and nothing else matters. I grab his face between my hands and press my lips against his forcefully. His mouth opens automatically and my tongue doesn’t hesitate to plunge inside.

He pulls me into him roughly, our growing cocks grinding against each other while we devour one another’s mouth. I bite down on his bottom lip, earning the sexiest growl I’ve ever heard. I pull hard on the hair on the back of his head, and then my mouth goes to his neck. I lick a patch of flesh and then bite down hard.

“Ah, fuck, Marc!”

My cock hardens even more.

He grips the back of my neck and brings his mouth to mine again. I grind my cock against his leg and we both moan.

“I want to fuck you so bad.” My voice rumbles against his mouth.

“I’m not stopping you,” he breathes heavily.

Lincoln pulls the shirt from his body in a single fluid motion, and the sight of his hard, muscled body takes me to the point of no return.

“I don’t have anything,” I say in a husky tone as I watch him undo his pants.

“I don’t care.”

Slamming my mouth against his once more, I undo my pants and let them and my boxer briefs drop to my knees. I force him around and press my cock against his ass.

“I’m going to fuck you so hard, and you’re going to feel every inch of me deep inside of you.”

“Fuck,” he growls.

With a slight push, he bends over and I lick my hand and quickly slide it between his ass cheeks.

“I can’t wait to be inside you,” I rasp.

“Fucking do it already,” he bellows.

I spit into my hand and rub it over my cock and then position myself behind him. Before I thrust in, I see him down his scotch and then slam the glass back onto the desk.

With one hard push, I bury myself to the hilt.

“Fuck!” he roars.

I throw my head back and revel in the feeling. Not having a condom between us is fan-fucking-tastic. I pull away and then slam back in again.

My fingers dig into the skin around his waist as I give him everything I have. He grips the desk until his knuckles turn white, but his grunts and groans let me know he’s enjoying it.

I stop and lean over his back until my mouth is by his ear. “I’ve missed this so fucking much.”

“God, Marc,” he growls. “Me too. Fuck. You feel so good.”

“You like that?” I ask, thrusting in further and then biting down on his shoulder.

He hisses and reaches around and pulls my hair. “I fucking love it.”

I plant my mouth on his and give him a hard kiss before I move back, grip his hips and fuck him as hard as I can. His hand moves in front of him and I can tell he’s jerking himself off.

“Yes, fuck,” he says, his voice rough.

I feel my orgasm building, and I fuck him with such force that the desk moves several inches across the floor. I notice my drink sloshing around in the glass and then I’m coming.

“Fuck, Linc!” My voice thunders through the room.

“Ah, yes!” he hisses, his arm moving vigorously.

I empty my load inside him and then he announces his own orgasm.

I’m still moving slowly inside him when jets of his come shoot out onto the front of his desk.

“Goddammit!” he grits. “Fuck.”

After I slide out of him, I quickly pull my pants up, and he turns around and does the same.

“The bathrooms are just outside the office,” he states.

After we return from the bathroom, the awkward silence is back and I fucking hate it. I know it’s because neither of us know what the hell is going to happen now.

“Your phone rang several times. I’m sure your friends are looking for you,” he says, breaking the silence.

“Yeah. They’ll be okay without me for a minute.”

He gives me a small smile and nods. “I’m glad I ran into you today.”

Rubbing the back of my neck, I give him a crooked grin. “Me too.”

“Might have been the best Christmas present I’ve gotten.”

“And you can’t take it back,” I joke.

“I wouldn’t want to.”

I’m about to open my mouth to reply when my phone rings.

He looks down at the floor before grabbing his glass and walking back to the decanter of liquor. I ignore the call, and stride over to him. Grabbing his face, I kiss him passionately and try to show him that I’m still in this. I still want him and Nathalia, and I need him to not give up on me yet.

“Just a little more time,” I say quietly against his mouth once I break our kiss. “Please, just wait for me.”

Before he can reply, I walk out and head to Jace’s house. I’m late, but not too late. I show up just in time for dinner. The entire night, I think about Lincoln and Nathalia, and it sucks that I can’t talk to anybody about it.

I tell myself that I’ll tell everybody by the New Year.

January

My plan goes out the window when Emilie is attacked and put into the hospital at the end of December. She doesn’t go back home to Troy until the first week of January, and everybody suspects it’s Troy’s ex-fiancée who did it, but with nobody in custody, everybody is feeling kind of tense.

I don’t hear from Lincoln, but I guess I didn’t really expect to. I almost expected to hear from Nathalia, because I figured Lincoln would tell her what happened, and that she’d call trying to find out what was going on, but she doesn’t call.

In the middle of January, Jace, Troy, and I are discussing properties to look at for our next club. I remember what Lincoln said about his sex club, and figure it wouldn’t hurt to call him and ask him about it, but at the same time, how fucking awkward is that?

We plan to meet at Club Trinity, and when I arrive nobody else is on the main floor, so I decide to give Lincoln a call and hope for the best.

He doesn’t answer, though. I’m sure he’s pissed that I’ve taken so long to even contact him. I slip the phone in my pocket right as Jace walks in.

“Hey, man.”

Turning to face him, I put a smile on my face. “Hey.”

“Is Troy here?”

“I’m not sure. If he is, he may be up in his office.”

“Alright, you ready to head up?”

“Yeah.”

As soon as I take a step, my phone rings. I pull it out of my pocket and see that it’s Lincoln.

“Hello?”

“I just saw that you called.”

“Yeah.” I take a glance at Jace and notice he’s waiting for me.

He sighs heavily, obviously frustrated. “Look, I’m with Thalia right now. Did you call for a reason regarding us?”

Great. Now I’m really going to feel like an asshole.

I drop my head and rub my forehead. “No. I need to talk to you about something else.”

I notice Jace walking away and feel a little relieved I don’t have to have this whole conversation in front of him.

“What else?” he asks, and I can tell his jaw is clenched.

“Are you still selling your club?”

He barks out a laugh that holds no humor. “That’s why you called?”

“Look, you’re the one who fucking offered,” I say a little too loudly, because Jace is just exiting the room.

“I’ve offered a lot more than that, but I get why that’s most important now. Whatever. Yes, I’m still selling it.”

“I might be interested. I need to talk to the guys first.”

“Great. Let me know,” he says blandly.

Then he hangs up.

I go up and find Troy and Jace in Troy’s office. After they once again ask what’s up with me, and once again I lie, I let them know I have a place that might be available. When they agree to check it out, I leave the room to call Lincoln again. He’s obviously pissed, and I don’t need to argue with him on the phone in front of the guys.

“Yeah?” Lincoln says gruffly into the phone when he picks up.

Even though I know he has a right to be pissed, I get annoyed by his attitude. “When can we look at the club?”

“Hold on.”

I hear him speaking, but it’s muffled. I assume he’s talking to Nathalia.

“We’re just finishing lunch. I can meet you there in an hour.”

“Okay, just a sec.”

I rush back to Troy’s office and ask if they can go now. When they say yes, I leave again and go back to the main floor.

“Okay. See you then.”

He hangs up the phone without saying anything. Yep. I’ve fucked that up. I wonder how Nathalia feels about this whole thing.

We take my car and it takes about forty-five minutes to get the club. While we’re waiting for Lincoln to show up, my phone buzzes alerting me of a text message.

Nathalia:
I’m coming with Lincoln to the club. I want to see you.

I’m surprised the text is from her. She hasn’t sent me a message since Thanksgiving. I respond quickly.

Me:
Okay. What about Lincoln? I know he’s pissed.

Nathalia:
When he goes into the club, come in the car with me. I just want to see you, even for a few minutes.

Me:
Okay.

Nathalia:
We’re pulling up now.

I watch as a black Mercedes pulls up and Lincoln steps out from the backseat. Guess he’s having his driver around today.

He slides a hand over his hair, and adjusts his suit. “I hope I haven’t kept you long. I was a little preoccupied.”

After flashing a look at all of us, he pins me with his blue eyes, and I know he’s trying to piss me off by referring to being with Thalia.

“Not a problem,” Troy responds. “I’m Troy Thompson, this here is my business associate, Jace Jamison, and I’m sure you know our other business partner,” he says, gesturing my way.

“Yes, I
know
Marc, and he’s mentioned you two before. It’s nice to meet you. I’m Lincoln Cash.”

I’m sure nobody but me notices the emphasis he put on the word know. After they shake hands, they make their way to the door, but I stay where I am, and look at the incoming text I just got from Nathalia.

Nathalia:
God, you look so good.

“You comin’, man?” Troy asks.

I walk to the door and poke my head in. “Hey, Lincoln, just start giving them a tour real quick. I gotta handle something, and then I’ll be right in.”

“Not a problem,” he responds without looking my way.

No doubt he knows I’m going to see Nathalia.

When the doors close behind them, I quickly make my way to the back of the car and climb in. Nathalia throws her arms around my neck and starts kissing me. I pull her onto my lap and force my tongue into her mouth. Grabbing the base of her neck, I grip her hair in my hand and pull. With her neck exposed, I lick a path from her throat to her ear. She moans loudly, and then I bite down on the flesh right above her shoulder. She hisses and pulls my hair simultaneously.

“God, I’ve missed you,” she breathes, and then goes to my neck and sucks the skin into her mouth.

My hands roam over her body until they fall on her ass. My cock hardens, and she grinds herself on me when she feels it.

“Fuck, Marc,” she growls.

She sits up, still straddling my lap and her sparkling green eyes look into mine. She’s fucking stunning. Her lips are a little swollen from our kiss, and her lipstick slightly smudged, but she still looks amazing.

“I’ve missed you, too,” I say finally.

She gives me a small smile and runs her finger across my jaw. “Still handsome.”

I smirk at her. “That’s good.”

“What’s going on with you and Lincoln?” she asks with a worried look on her face.

With a sigh, I say, “I don’t know. Same ol' shit, I guess. You know how we get.”

She shakes her head. “He’s been pissed since he talked to you.”

“I know.”

“Why?”

“I think he was hoping I was calling for another reason than I was.”

She nods like she knows. She’s probably hoping for the same thing.

“Is he going to get that call? The call he wants?”

“Is he the only one who wants it?” I ask, running my hands up her back.

“You should know the answer to that,” she replies before grinding down on me once more.

“My friends don’t know yet, and I’m working something out. I told him I needed some time.”

“Marc, it’s been months,” she says morosely.

“I know. I can’t say anything that will make you feel any better about this, but I’m working on a few things. Everything will be okay. I hope everything will be okay,” I say as I brush my knuckles gently over her cheek.

She leans forward and buries her face in my neck. I sit there and hold her for a little while before I have to leave. Whoever Lincoln’s driver is, he’s pretty professional. He didn’t make a sound or move since I got in. I’m sure it was a bit stunning to have one man leave, and another enter.

“I have to go,” I say softly.

“I know.”
