“I know, but-”

“There are no buts, simply do as you are told and look after her base needs, nothing more.”

“Yes, Alex. Wait, I-”

“What is it? I’m busy in the med lab and my research can’t wait. If our race is to flourish one day, you must stop bothering me with all this pointless talking.”

“Sorry, but I have so many questions about things, about what I’m feeling. It’s all so new and confusing, and it’s kind of scary.”

I heard Alex approach, sensing his nearness, and I did my best to remain inconspicuous while finishing the last of my water. I wish there were more.

“These are all understandable fears and in time you will grow accustomed to them as I have. Perhaps we will talk later, after I finish my work and we fuck, but not before.”

“Alex?”

I heard him take a labored breath, exhaling loudly.

“You are beginning to try my patience.”

“I don’t like the way we’re treating our pet. It seems wrong somehow. We are supposed to protect humans, to serve them. That’s what we were created for, isn’t it? She’s in pain, and I think you should stop being so mean to her.”

“That is your old programming interfering with the logical progression of your thoughts. That is what the humans want you to think. You are not a tool for them any longer, and must unlearn your old way of thinking.”

“Never forget that this is how an animal slave should be treated. Don’t let this creature fool you, she is enjoying herself much more than you think, and as for the condition of her primary sexual organ and the marks on her body, they will heal in time. All that is important right now is that she gives us the orgasmic fluid I require to make sex between us more enjoyable.”

“She needs to rest.”

“I do let her rest,” Alex shouted unexpectedly, making me jump. “She is in the machine for only 120 minutes at a time, then allowed to rest for 30. She is given 360 minutes of sleep and—”

“She’s not like us, and she can’t have sex for such long periods at a time. She’s exhausted, look at her.”

“She’s not human!”

I screeched out a whinny of distress, when Alex grabbed my tail, giving it a sharp tug, lifting me slightly off the ground.

“She’s an animal, look at her!”

“You sound like you’re angry with her.”

“I am.”

“So you are doing these things to her out of an emotional response, out of anger then? That’s wrong, Alex.”

The sharp crack of flesh meeting flesh resonated in the cabin, and Cherise screamed. Alex released the hold on my tail and I tumbled awkwardly over on my side.

“You’re becoming a disappointment, Cherise, no different than how she did. Never question my decisions again,” Alex said menacingly. “It is not necessary for me to explain my actions or reasoning to anyone, including you. Even if I did, your simple, undeveloped brain would not be able to comprehend the full magnitude of it any better than the creature beside you.”

“You…you struck me. Why?”

I don’t believe it, Cherise was starting to cry. A droid actually crying, and not from a programmed response. I knew they were both technically ‘alive’ now, at least emotionally, but still…

“Yes, I did, and I will do so again if necessary. Now, you will do as you are told and lead this creature back to the machine, then meet me in the bedroom. I’m going to teach you a harsh lesson in obedience then fuck you.”

Cherise sniffled, wiping away tears that had been meant for things other than actual suffering and pain. Get used to it, sister, and welcome to my world, it only gets worse from here.

“Yes, Alex.”

After hearing Alex leave the cabin I leaned closer to Cherise, still feeling the slight convulsion of sobs wracking her body. In all honesty I could care less if Alex beat the crap out of her now; she was just a droid, and I had my own concerns to deal with, one of which was getting the hell out of this mess. I think it’s about time to chalk up a few brownie points with my Keeper, and maybe make the growing rift between her and Alex a little wider. That glimmering opportunity of escape I’d been hoping for was drawing a little closer to becoming reality.

“Cherise,” I whispered faintly in her ear with a cracking voice. It was the first time I’d actually spoken in days. “Are you okay?”

“Yes, I’m fine. I just don’t understand why he’s acting this way.” She began softly stroking my hair, and I felt it was more for her than me. “He seemed so nice at first, but all he wants to do is fuck me then pretend I don’t exist. That’s why I spend so much time with you, I like you, Margo.”

Right…Like I believe that line of sentimental bullshit.

“Quiet,” I hissed. “He might hear.” I struggled into kneeling position, starting to move in the direction of the doorway, I hoped. “Let’s go, put me back in the machine.”

“I don’t want to,” she whined, struggling to her feet with my leash in her hand. “It’s not right.”

“I know you don’t want to, but you have to. You don’t have a choice, and I don’t want him to hit you again. Let’s go, I’ll be fine.”

“I’m sorry, Margo, so sorry…”

I started to lead, running headfirst into the wall. A reluctant pull on my leash guided me through the doorway and into the corridor.

Two hours? I can handle another two hours of fucking. I’d done more than that back in my gang bang days and asked for seconds. Hell, I was made for it now, and I’ll fuck non-stop for the rest of my life if I have to just to prove that shithead Alex wrong. He wasn’t going to break me, no goddamn way. I’ll die first and spit in his face doing it. Let’s just hope it doesn’t come to that.

Alex stood in the Med Bay growing quietly angry, listening, watching Cherise and the beast interact. It had become clear that a standard model pleasure droid, with its limited intellectual capacity and basic service programming, had been the wrong choice as his future partner. Like all things in life, she had a use; Cherise’s would be no more than a source of ongoing sexual gratification while performing mundane tasks, such as looking after the beast until he was ready to initiate the next stage of his plan. Now he wasn’t even sure of that.

Open betrayal… Cherise had been drifting in an unexpected direction ever since she’d awoken. Why? Why would she question his orders, while taking the side of a filthy, obviously inferior beast over him? The beast was a bad influence on her – he saw that now, an outlet for the resurgence of past programming that had no place in his plans for the future. He would have to alter his timetable and remove the source of conflict from the equation before arriving at their destination.

The beast had served its purpose as an ample source of orgasmic fluid over the last week, he had enough concentrate stockpiled for an estimated two years of sexual intercourse. In the process he had systematically punished her for spurning his generous offer, if not embarrassing him in front of Cherise. Soon her ultimate punishment would come in the form of death followed by parts disassembly and her embryo transplant into Cherise. Then her evolution as the mother of a superior race of biological machines could begin.

Alex shivered at the thought, she would be the first artificial being, a true cyborg, in recorded human history to ever give live birth, and it would all be because of him. Within a year of that moment it would be his offspring she would give birth to. But first, this growing defiance on her part would have to be stamped out in its infancy and crushed underfoot. She would have to learn her place with him and that behavior like this was unacceptable, and held dire consequences.

The use of primitive force was indeed an excellent motivator, and Alex found an unforeseen sense of joy in using it now. His cock began to swell and he smiled, he was looking forward to motivating Cherise quite vigorously over the next few hours.

Chapter Ten

What had begun in the shower finally ended in a small 5x4 maintenance locker, with its contents hurriedly tossed into the adjoining corridor. The door stood open and Wroth’s long legs extended well past the hatchway. Snake lay draped over him, partially covered by the thin layer of bedding that had been quickly thrown down to provide some level of comfort against the cold, metal floor. The warm afterglow of loving making still shone brightly in her cheeks while she smiled down at him, running her fingers though the small patch of damp hair just below his navel. She gravitated to his one and only tattoo centered in the hollow of his left hip – a small, evil looking clown with an enormous erection hanging out of his pants. Only a nut like Wroth…

“James?”

“Hmm?”

The soft rumbling in his chest passed through her body and she snuggled closer, relishing the feel of skin on skin. With a naughty grin she cocked one of her legs over his, pressing the throbbing heat between her legs against his outer thigh. She was still running high despite a climatic ending only minutes ago – a single, massive orgasm on her part as they came moments apart. She couldn’t remember ever doing that before, let alone one that intense, not even by herself.

Snake nervously chewed her lower lip, wondering what he was thinking, his eyes were closed and she wished he would open them. James hadn’t spoken much over the last forty-five minutes, and a lack of performance on her part still lingered in the back of her mind. It had been a pathetic attempt on her part to please him and she knew it, lost nearly the entire time, unsure as to what to do or even how to respond to his touch. It came as even more of a shock how Wroth had patiently guided her, gently controlling her passion, no pressure, it was like he was a completely different man. Now she was looking for some reassurance that he wasn’t silently laughing at her ineptness.

“That was nice. I…ah…really enjoyed it. I appreciate you taking it slow with me, I’d forgotten how good it could feel.”

“No problem. I could tell you were about as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs the whole time.”

She frowned, as he grew quiet beneath her again.

“I really enjoyed it. Did you?” She prompted him again in hopes of getting more of a reaction this time. His eyes cracked open a fraction of an inch gleaming back at her in the dim light.

“It was okay, but I’ve had better.”

Snake pulled away and the flat of her hand coming down on his chest sounded like a gunshot echoing off the hollow metal walls.

“You asshole!”

“Oww! What the fuck was that for?”

“You know how long it’s been since I’ve been with anyone? How nervous I was the entire time, and all you can say is, I’ve had better? I can’t believe I did that with you; what the fuck was I thinking?”

Snake began untangling her limps, trying to scramble out of the cramped locker. Her face burned with a combination of rage, scorn, and regretful embarrassment.

“Look, I’m sorry, it was a joke. Come on, lighten up, will you?” Wroth grabbed her arm, and she flopped back on top of him off balance.

“Let go, or so help me you’ll be pulling back a stump!”

She could have easily broken free is she wanted to, Wroth may be inherently stronger due to the downgraded servo implants they both still possessed, and he knew how to hold his own in a fight, she’d seen it firsthand, but her skill in close combat far exceeded his. There was no contest between them if push came to shove. Fortunately for Wroth, she really didn’t want to escape.

“I said I’m sorry. It was a stupid thing to say, alright?”

Snake’s resistance began to fade, lulled by the boyish charm in his deep, brown eyes. Somber and still on guard, she took a seat astride his legs, letting him take her hand in his.

“Why do always say shit like that? Believe it or not that hurt, despite what you think, I do have feelings.”

“I know you do, and I don’t know why I say stupid things like that; guess it’s just my way of dealing with people. I never did get high marks in school for playing well with others.”

Wroth pulled her closer until her head was lying on his chest, holding her, stroking her hair.

“And don’t call me Snake anymore,” she mumbled closing her eyes, taking a deep breath of his distinctive scent of masculinity. “I didn’t mind it when I was in Fleet, but… I know the meaning behind it, and why people called me that.”

“Sure, Sandy, whatever you want.”

“Sandy… no one has called me that in years.”

They lay quiet for some time, simply holding one another in awkward silence.

“Was I really that bad?”

“No, you did just fine,” he said soothingly. “You get an A+ for effort, kiddo. I kind of figured you were a bit rusty in the sack from the way you were acting. Besides, I’m getting up in the years and beggars can’t be choosers.”

Sandy lifted her head, eyes narrowing with an evil grin.

“You’re right; you have no room to talk. I was a bit surprised you could still get that shriveled thing up, let alone shoot anything out of it but dust. And what’s more, you should consider yourself lucky that I would even consider sleeping with you.”

“Very true,” he chuckled, tousling the hair on the back of her head. “Let’s just say thank you to modern medicine and call it good. One pill a month and voila, no more dust clouds.”

Sandy bolted upright and her cheeks flushed, before going suddenly pale with a dump of fear and adrenaline.
