Chapter
Ten

Dean found himself panting after Angie like a hunting dog that caught the scent. He actually went shopping just so he could spend time with her. He loathed shopping with women. The dentist ranked higher than shopping with women. He found himself in a store full of breakable things and a whole bunch of women. There wasn’t another man in sight.

“Look at these Angie,” His sister exclaimed, drawing
their attention to a curio cabinet filled with delicate figurines painted in muted colors. “Aren’t these the ones you like?”

Angie actually sighed. Obviously she did like them because she looked at each one with reverence. “What are they?” Dean asked, not really caring but
he needed to do something to feel like he wanted to be in the estrogen charged room.

“There called
Lliadros. My grandmother had a couple and I always thought they were the epitome or elegance. See that one there, tall and slim, she holds herself like a queen.” The figurine Angie pointed to was of a woman in a long slim skirt, holding a basket of flowers, with a dog at her feet. He didn’t really see the draw but Angie sure did. She squatted down to see the bottom shelf. “See the ballerina? Isn’t she beautiful?”

In that moment Angie was the only thing to hold his attention. She was so full of innocents. Her big blue eyes were round and inquisitive as she visually searched each figurine. “Where’s David?” Stella asked, effectively pulling him out of his stupor.

“He was going to look for something to eat.”

“I’m hungry too. Where did he go, do you know?” This was the moment he had been waiting for. The moment that had him shopping in one of the most feminine stores he’d ever been in.

“There was a little dive around the corner. If you leave know you can probably order with him and he’ll be too nice not to buy your food.”

Stella laughed. “I’m
so
getting a free meal out of this.” And she left. Leaving him and Angie alone. Well, relatively alone.

She stood up and smiled at him. “So where are you going to whisk me off to? That is why you’ve been hanging out with us, right?”

As long as she understood that then they would get along great. He took her hand in his and led her through the crowd, moving through the never ending throng of people to find a deserted nook for him to kiss her long and hard. That was harder to achieve than he initially imagined. The place was packed with people. People selling things, people buying things, people just standing in his way. Finally he found an alley that seemed to go nowhere but to houses.

Angie laughed and trotted to keep up with his long legged stride. “You really want some time alone with me, don’t you?”

She didn’t know how badly he wanted it and he wasn’t about to tell her. So he showed her. Pulling her behind a row of buildings he pushed her against the brick wall and kissed her. Their lips caressed and nipped and the touch of their tongues created fireworks behind his eye lids, a dance of light that made him almost dizzy. Her hips pressed into his legs just as his hand went under her white tank top in search of her breasts. He couldn’t get his fill of her. In fact he was almost desperate enough to lift her skirt and screw her against the wall.

Angie broke the kiss first, breathless and looking dazed. She glanced around the alley before taking his hand and leading him behind a shed. They were officially secluded. No one could see them and they could hear anyone approaching before being seen. Dean groaned and lifted her up. She instantly wrapped her legs around him and pulled his face to hers. It was all the prodding he needed. His hands skimmed the backs of her thighs and moved upward. She was smooth and soft, everything he thought a woman should feel like except even better. When his fingers search led to her butt he didn’t come in contact with the cotton panties he expected. In fact, he didn’t come in contact with any panties.

“Tell me you aren’t wearing any panties.” He groaned against her mouth.

“I’m not wearing any panties.” She grinned at him with a cat got the milk grin. “I was hoping you would whisk me off somewhere for a quickie.”

Suddenly he thought he just might be in love. They both worked fast and frantic to get him in her. The condom went on and he went in. And they both froze, savoring that moment when everything in world ceases to exist except the two of them and their bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces finding their match. Dean pressed her back against the shed and moved in her, in and out, Angie meeting each of his thrusts like it was the first and her favorite.

She shut her eyes just as her mouth parted on a sigh and Dean could feel her tighten around him. She seemed to be holding her breath and he pumped harder, wanting her to explode so he could watch her as it happened. Last night it had been too dark to see her expression as she came. But today he would see her in full light of day, her pleasure playing in her face for him to read like a book. In the hut he had watched with fascination the way her face had softened then froze with her mouth parted, holding
her breath, and he had felt her inner muscles spasm around his fingers. If she reacted so splendidly to his fingers alone then he was sure watching her come with him in her would be his undoing.

And it was. Her eyes opened and rolled back a little in her head, her swollen mouth formed a perfect O, and she went limp.
Her inner muscles spasmed around him, milking him.  He kissed her hard then, not wanting her to fall back to reality yet.

His explosion was right at the heels of hers, so powerful that he shoved his pelvis into her, ove
r and over, harder and harder, until he was empty and breathing hard.

They slowly came back to reality together, both breathing hard, both sated.

“This vacation is turning out to be great.” She whispered against his cheek. Dean laughed breathlessly. He couldn’t agree more.

Chapter
Eleven

Angie was a little in shock. She really had to wonder if she hadn’t imagined all that was happening to her. It was more than she ever could have imagined and the fact that Dean seemed to be enjoying her just as much as she enjoyed him, was what dreams were made of. She wouldn’t call it love, but she could and would call it extreme lust. The man knew just how to make her explode in the most powerful, earth shattering way.

She lay back on her bed and grimaced. They would be hitting night club in less than an hour. Stella was adamant that Angie enjoy one night at a club and had pushed and prodded until Angie agreed to go with her. She hated keeping secrets from Stella and this was the worst secret of all. Angie wanted to spend time on the beach with Dean. She wanted to go dancing with Dean. She
wanted to have more sex with Dean. Instead she was dressed up to club hop with her best friend who had no idea she was boinking said friend’s brother. What a pickle she was finding herself in.

The door to the room opened and closed quickly. Angie sat up and smiled at Dean who stood leaning against the door. “Stella’s in the shower.” Angie knew this but didn’t say anything. Dean was different now that she was sleeping with him. He almost seemed shy at times, like he wasn’t sure what to say to her. But she was still Angie, just Angie, also known as his Little Bit.

“We’re going to a club when she’s ready. Stella practically begged me to go out with her. I think she may have met a guy last night and wants to see him again.” Dean moved to sit next to her on the bed and it took all her restraint not to jump on him and start stripping him down to his skivvies. “What are you and David doing tonight?”

“Thought about going to the beach.
David met some people last night who were having a party out there.”

A night apart… Angie shouldn’t feel down but she couldn’t help it. This was the only time she had with Dean because once the vacation was over so was what they were sharing. “Maybe I’ll convince Stella to stop by the party after we club hop for a while.”

Dean smiled that brilliant smile that made her toes curl. “I’ll look for then.” And he kissed her. Soft, gentle, and all those sweet kiss feelings. She wanted it to go on and on but they both heard the bathroom door open and jumped apart.

Stella walked in the room and froze. “What are you doing?” She asked Dean accusingly. He stood up and moved to the door.

“Just finding out what you two had planned tonight. David and I are going to a party at the beach. You should join us.”

Stella’s eyes narrowed in on Dean. “We have plans.”

“Just thought I’d offer.” He stood up and he left the room, leaving Angie to deal with a suddenly suspicious Stella. She tried to smile like she wasn’t hiding something. But Stella knew her too well.

“What was that about? Dean never wants to spend time with me, it’s like I cramp his style or something. Did he really come in here to see if we wanted to go with them?”

What was Angie supposed to say?
Um, no Stella, he really just wanted to set up a time for me and him to screw again.
Not likely! So Angie just nodded and busied herself with strapping on her heals. “I think he wanted to feel me up- I mean out! I mean, he wanted to know if you were meeting someone tonight. He’s just checking up on you.”

“Do you want to go to the beach instead?” Stella asked hesitantly. Angie mentally sighed. She loved Stella too much to hurt her and admitting she was sleeping with Dean would really hurt her. So she made the decision, right then and there, to give up sex with Dean to maintain her friendship with Stella. God, if that weren’t true friendship then she didn’t know what was
.“No, the night club would be better. Besides, I think you may have met someone too and not told me about it. Otherwise why would you be so gung-ho to go back to the clubs tonight?”

Stella grinned, back to her normal self. “Well, maybe there is a guy… But I’m not getting my hopes up that he will be back there tonight. And if he is I promise not to just drop you so I can do, well, whatever with him.”

Angie laughed as she stood up, straightening her black, hip hugging slacks. “You can do ‘whatever’ with him and it won’t hurt my feelings. I’ll just catch a cab back here so you can have the car and spend as much time with him as you want. Just don’t make me be the one to explain to your parents why you’re home late. That would just be weird.”

“Deal!”
And that was that. Stella was going to get her vacation fling now that Angie had decided to end hers. It was only fair, really. This way she would be preserving herself from any pain the end of the trip, and drawing out the end of the fling, might bring. It made sense… really. So why was she feeling so sad?

The club was dark and loud and stifling. Never having been one to enjoy the club scene, Angie was trying hard not to ruin the evening for her friend. They stood at the bar, each with a fruity drink in hand, as Stella searched the growing crowd for the guy from the night before.

“Oh my God, it’s him!” She squealed. “Okay, be cool, here he comes.” Angie laughed, finding her friends excitement a great source of humor.

A tall, dark haired man came up to them, smiling at Stella. “You made it! I didn’t think you would.”

Stella beamed up at him and it was enough for Angie to know she was doing the right thing. “I told you I’d try to make it. Shawn, this is my friend Angie. Angie, Shawn.”

Angie raised a hand in hello and was pleased to see that Shawn’s gaze didn’t linger on her for very long before pulling back to Stella.

“Some friends of mine are going to this beach party. Want to go?” He yelled at Stella seeing that
the music had started back up much louder than before.

Stella looked at Angie for approval before saying, “Sure! It may be the same one my brother was going to tonight.”

And then they were off. Angie and Stella following Shawn’s equal small rental car across the island to the beach party. She shouldn’t be excited, Angie knew that, but her heart was fluttering with the thought of getting one last fling in before going home.

The party was a bust. Dean was antsy and tired of coming up with excuses for his bad attitude. He actually turned down a blatant offer of sex from a buxom red head. It was surprising him how obvious some women were in their bid for sex. Again, he couldn’t imagine Angie walking up to a stranger and flat out offering herself up. And there he was again, thinking about her.

He needed to end it before they headed home, clear the air before getting back to their lives. But the idea of severing ties irked him a bit. He wanted to see her when they were home. He wanted to take her to dinner parties and introduce her to his friends. But how would he introduce her?
His girlfriend? He hadn’t had one of those since college, at least not one that lasted long enough for him to call her that. His sister’s friend? Well, she was that, but so much more.

The thought scared him a bit. He wasn’t in the market for “so much more”. He wasn’t in the market period.
At least not for anything but sex. And god… the sex…

With Angie it was, here were those words again,
so much more
. She made it an adventure, an exciting story that he wanted to get to the end of because he knew there would be treasures. Yet at the same time he savored every second he was with her. And tonight he was pissed that he didn’t go with her. That he didn’t just tell his sister that he had, well,
feelings
for her friend. But Angie had made him promise. It sucked having to stick to it.

“Dude, did you see that red head? She was begging for you and you totally blew her off! What’s up with you this trip?”

David handed him a cup of beer and sank down into the sand where Dean had decided he would remain the rest of the night.

“I’m just not interested.” How could he tell David that he had the
hots for Angie? They were good friends but by admitting it out loud would change their dynamics. They were the single guys that picked up women together. They didn’t get serious about women. Never. It was an unspoken rule. Bachelors for life. But Dean wasn’t sure he wanted that anymore.

“Well get interested. You haven’t gotten laid this whole trip. Wasn’t that what we came here for?”

Dean raised his eyebrows questioningly. He didn’t remember saying that was why he was coming on this vacation. In fact, he had been dreading it a bit once he found out Angie was going too. Maybe the reason he was dreading it was because deep down he knew that he was done resisting her.

“Okay, so maybe you didn’t say that but I thought it was just assumed.” David took a gulp of beer and leaned back onto his elbows. “So, if you aren’t going to go for the red head then I’m jumping in.”

“Have at her.” Dean saluted David with his beer and took his own big gulp.

“Hey, isn’t that Angie over there?” Dean sat up straight, straining to see in the darkness at the spot where David pointed.

“Is it?” He asked, not noticing the smirk on David’s face.

“I thought I saw your sister pull into the parking lot when I got the beers.”

Dean pushed off the ground. “I’ll go see.” He said absently, heading off in the direction of the bar.

He looked around for a little while, not seeing his sister or Angie, and was about to give up when he heard his sister giggle. “Stella?” He called out questioningly.

“Dean?” She stepped out from behind a tallish guy with dark hair. “Hey, I wondered if you’d be here. This is Shawn. Shawn, my brother Dean.”

“Hey,” Dean greeted vaguely. “Where’s Angie? I thought she went with you to the club.”

Stella’s eyes narrowed in on his. “She’s around here somewhere. Why do you ask?”

He shrugged, trying to play it off. “I just haven’t seen her. Thought about heading back to the condo and if she was ready I’d take her with me.”

“Mmm hmm.” She pursed her lips, a sure sign she wasn’t eating what he was dishing. “Some guy grabbed on to her as soon as we got here so she’ll probably want to stay.”

Jealously flared like flash fire. Dean clenched his teeth and jammed his fists into his pockets so his little sister wouldn’t see his aggravation. “Which way did she go? I’ll just make sure before I leave.” Stella waved her hand in what he assumed was a direction and glared at him. He wasn’t fooling her any. He mentally sighed. Oh well, he hadn’t come
right out and said it so Angie couldn’t get pissed at him for it.

He moved to leave then stopped, “Oh, and when you’re ready to go, find David because I’m taking the Jeep and he won’t have a ride.”
