Well, it looked as if her secret was out. No use in delaying the inevitable. They would find out soon enough why the men were here.
“Ladies, the reason I called you all here is to say thank you for bringing Steve, Eric and I back together.”
Shrieks of delight shot through the room and within a second she was embraced in warm hugs and heartfelt congratulations. Thick emotions bubbled up in her chest and happiness squeezed her heart.
Oh gosh, she was so lucky to have such wonderful friends in her life. They had gotten her back together with Eric and Steve. It was something that had been just a fantasy twenty-four hours ago.
When the women finally stopped taking turns hugging her, she made her next announcement.
“They’ve already moved in and we’re going to make a go of it.” Sophie said.
She laughed when the girls squealed their excitement.
“Group hug!” Rachel called out.
Within a second Sophie became engulfed in another round of warm embraces.
She smiled as their love melted over her. They were the best friends in the world and she knew she would treasure them forever.
