Chapter One

Luna looked out over the horizon of the farm, taking in the sprays of red and gold as the sun began to disappear. Her boyfriend Silas walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her middle, and he moved her long black hair to the side, planting a kiss on her neck.

“It’s so beautiful,” she said, leaning back into him.

“It is.” He turned her to face him, pulling her close. “So are you.”

She smiled. “You’re too sweet.”

“I try.”

“I can’t believe that we’ve been together for a month now.”

“I can’t believe nobody in town has alerted my parents yet,” Silas retorted.

“Yeah, I’ve been wondering when that was going to happen, as well.”

The small, old-fashioned town in Georgia that these two lived in still lived in the dark ages as far as race went, and Silas’ parents were among some of the worst offenders. The couple had met when Luna, a pretty young black girl, had shown up at his parent’s farm looking for work. They had quickly dismissed her due to her color, and Silas had immediately been drawn to her. One thing had led to another and their friendship soon turned into something more. They’d been sneaking around behind his parent’s back for a little over a month now, going on dates in town and listening to the whispers of the townsfolk, waiting for the day when those whispers would make their way back to Silas’ family.

“I’ve been thinking about that, actually,” Silas said. “And I think before that happens, we should come clean to them. I want to introduce you to them.”

“They already know me,” she reminded.

“Introduce you as my girlfriend,” he reworded.

She smiled a little. “That what I am – your girlfriend?”

“Haven’t figured that one out yet?” He kissed her. Running his hand behind her head, he deepened the kiss.

Luna melted into him, her arms wrapping around his neck.

“Are you sure that is a good idea?” she asked. “I don’t want to cause any tension between you guys.”

“Any tension between is going to be their own fault. I’m not worried about what they think. But I would like them to find out from me rather than some random townsperson.”

“That does make sense,” she said, still hesitant.

She knew this day would come eventually and she was worried about how it would play out. Whether he cared about what they thought or not, it would affect his relationship with them. And given that he lived with them and worked for them, that could have a serious impact on things, and she feared it would be the end of their relationship. She wasn’t ready for there to be an end yet. In a month, he had been a better boyfriend to her than any other man she’d ever been with.

“You look like you’re lost in your head,” Silas said, tipping her head up to meet his eyes. “What’s going on in there?”

“I’m just worried about what’s going to happen when I meet your parents.”

“You worry too much.” He closed the gap between them, kissing her. He slipped his hand underneath her shirt, running his fingers up her spine. Luna felt weak in the knees, melding her body into his. Her fingers curled into his t-shirt as his fingers reached the base of her neck, rubbing small circles around it, making her shiver.

“You just know all the buttons, don’t you?” she said breathlessly.

“That I do.”

He slowly backed her up against a tree, kissing her harder. His hands fell to her shorts, unsnapping them. She whimpered into his mouth as he slid inside, fondling her clit. Her nails dug into his shirt as he rubbed the sensitive bud. Moisture instantly flooded inside her, sparking to life every nerve of desire in her body. Her whimpers quickly turned to soft moans as his free hand found its way inside her bra.

“Oh my God…” Luna buried her face into his shirt, moaning as he brought her to the edge.

Then pulled his hand away.

“Oh, God, that’s just mean!”

Silas grinned, tugging her closer. He pulled her shorts down around her ankles. She kicked out of them. He pushed down his jeans and boxers. His shirt went over his head and onto the pile.

“Just have no shame, do you?” she teased.

“Not a damn bit.”

He grabbed her around the waist, pushing her down onto the pile of clothes on the ground. His mouth found hers, hard, wanting. He tugged her panties down and buried himself deep inside her. Luna gasped. He pushed her shirt up and tugged her bra away, freeing her breasts. His tongue made lazy circles around the hard nubs as his hips thrust rhythmically against hers. Luna’s moans built slowly. As Silas’ teeth found her nipple, she could hold back no more.

“Oh God…oh my God…oh, Silas! Oh! Yes, yes, oh God, yes…oh yeah…yeah…” She cried out, her hands clutching at the grass, as he pushed her over the edge, sending her off into a screaming fit of ecstasy.

“God, I love the sounds you make,” Silas said, kissing her, pulling her up into his lap as he sat back.

Luna placed her hands on his shoulders, rocking her hips against his, gasping as his dick stroked every part of her just right.

“I just love the way you feel inside me,” she said with a gasp.

“Good fucking response.” He kissed her hard before spinning her over onto her back and pulling out, exploding against the leaves. He lay next to her and put his arms around her.

“You’re amazing, you know that?” Luna asked.

He kissed her on the forehead. “You’re not so bad yourself.”

Chapter Two

Two more weeks went by without another mention of meeting Silas’ parents. Luna wondered when the hammer was going to come down, but she wasn’t about to ask. Until the time came, she was just going to enjoy their relationship and ride the waves until it was time.

Luna leaned back against the ladder, watching Silas slinging hay. His shirt was off and every muscle rippled in his upper arms and shoulders as he picked up the bales and threw them onto the pile. She loved to just watch him work, especially with his shirt off. It was the most erotic experience she could imagine.

Silas wiped the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand. As he stood upright, he slid his eyes in Luna’s direction. “Enjoying the show?” he asked in amusement.

“Mm-hmm.”

He walked over and wrapped his arms around her, backing her up against the ladder. “Having you watch me is pretty sexy.”

“You’re pretty sexy,” she corrected.

Silas leaned in, kissing her. She wrapped her arms around him, feeling the warmth from his body radiating into hers. His hands slid down her back, cupping her ass, closing the gap between them. Her nails dug into his flesh as he deepened the kiss.

“Silas!” a sharp voice said from beside them.

They turned to look into the very unhappy eyes of Silas’ father. He had his arms crossed with a scowl on his face. His nearly identical eyes to Silas were dark and glaring.

“Dad,” Silas said, taking a step back from Luna.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

“Hanging out with my girlfriend,” he replied easily. “You remember Luna. Luna, this is my dad, Rich.”

Rich looked Luna up and down with distain on his face.

She shifted her weight, but said as cheerfully as possible, “Nice to meet you, Rich.”

“I think the two of you should come in the house,” he said. “Introduce her to your mother. I’m sure she’ll be thrilled.” He turned and stalked off toward the house.

Luna’s stomach was a mess of nerves as they followed. Silas wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her on the top of the head. “It’ll be okay,” he said quietly.

Their home hadn’t changed much since the last time Luna had been in it. It was rugged and rustic; exactly what you would expect from the tiny blue ranch. The kitchen looked like it hadn’t been updated in many years, but it made it look more like an old country home. It was a nice place and Luna had thought as much last time she had been there. She was a lot more nervous this time around.

“Mom, you remember Luna. Luna, this is my mom, Kathy.”

Kathy had a similar look of distain on her face as her eyes took in the two of them. She didn’t look quite as disgusted as Rich did, but she didn’t look happy about it either.

“How long has this been going on?” she asked.

“Almost two months,” Silas replied. “We’re happy together. That should be all that matters. Don’t you agree?”

“What will the town think?” Rich snarled.

“The town already knows,” Silas shot back.

“You’ve been going out in public together for the past two months?” Kathy asked.

“It’s 21st century, Mom,” Silas said. “Get with the program. Get over your issues, because that’s just what they are.”

“If you don’t like this town’s values, you can leave,” Rich said.

“The town is the one with the problem, not me. I’m staying right where I am.”

Kathy looked at Luna, and if looks could kill then Luna was pretty sure that she’d be six feet under at that moment. “We wouldn’t give you a job, so you seduced our son?”

Silas said before Luna could respond. “I talked to her first, I asked her out, and I made the first move. So don’t try to turn her into a whore because she isn’t one. You want me to go find you a whore I know plenty of white girls around town who have slept with every guy who will have them. The color of her skin has nothing to do with who she is as a person. She is Luna and she makes me happy, and that is all that matters to me. Come on, Luna.” He turned and they walked out of the house.

The walk back to the barn, Luna couldn’t shake the sickness in her stomach. Now that his parents knew, she was just waiting for everything to go wrong. That had been her worst fear from day one, and now it was all starting to unfold.

“You okay?” he asked when they reached the edge of the woods.

“Yeah.”

“You’re a terrible liar.”

“I should be getting home,” she said, forcing a smile.

“I want to see you later. We should talk.”

She bit her lower lip. And there it was. “Of course.”

“How about we meet at our spot in the woods? Say about 7:30?”

“That sounds good.” She gave him a quick kiss before rushing off, hoping he didn’t see the tears in her eyes as she turned away.

Chapter Three

Luna stared at her ceiling, lying on her back on the bed. It was nearing 7 and she knew she had to start getting ready to meet Silas. Part of her was still afraid of what this talk might include. She was terrified that he was going to break up with her. His parents had reacted exactly as she’d feared they would. She was worried that after she’d gone, they’d talked even more. Perhaps even given him an ultimatum about her. She could never expect him to choose her over his family. That would be ridiculous.

Sighing, she stood up and changed into a comfortable sundress and some flip-flops. She figured if she was going to get dumped, at least she could look pretty for the occasion.

Their spot in the woods was nicely secluded from the rest of the world. It was near a pond and it was a great spot to watch the sunrise and set. They had done both many a time. It seemed poignant yet a little heartbreaking that their talk would end up occurring during the sunset.

Silas was already waiting for her when she got there. The way his face lit up when he saw her made her stomach twist.

“Hey,” he said with a smile, stepping toward her and wrapping his arms around her waist. When his lips touched hers, she forgot all about what it was she had been upset about. Her arms instinctively wrapped around his neck. “You look pretty sexy in that dress.”
