When he finally lifted his head, there was a disarming smile softening his roughly carved features. His hands moved to tangle his fingers in her hair and hold her face up for his gaze to explore. Dina knew this was a moment she would treasure forever in her heart.

“We're really going to have a baby?” There was a faintly marveling look in his eyes as Blake turned the statement into a near question.

“Yes,” Dina nodded.

“Are you all right?” he frowned.

“I'm fine.” She smiled. With a sighing shake of her head, she asked, “Why do we argue so much, Blake?”

“It's our nature, I guess.” He smiled wryly in return. “We'd better get used to the fact, because we'll probably do it the rest of our lives.”

“Always testing to find out which of us is stronger.” Dina recalled Chet's explanation for their constant quarrels.

“Don't worry, honey, I'll let you be stronger once in a while,” he promised.

“Blake!” She started to protest indignantly at his superior remark.

“Can you imagine what our children are going to be like?” he laughed. “Pigheaded, argumentative little rebels, more than likely.”

“More than likely,” Dina agreed, “And we'll love every battling moment of raising them.”

“The same as every battling moment you and I have together.” He kissed her lightly and gazed into her eyes. “When's the baby due?”

“July.”

“The new campaign will be in full swing by then. I can just see you directing operations from the maternity ward,” Blake chuckled.

“You mean that I still have the job?” Dina arched a mocking brow at him.

“Of course,” he returned with an arrogant smile.

“Aren't you glad you have an understanding boss who will let you set your own hours or work at home, if that's convenient?”

“I'm very lucky.” She slid her arms around his neck, rising on tiptoes. “Lucky in more than one way.”

“Dina.” Blake spoke her name in an aching murmur against her lips.
