, I need to thank everyone who emailed me, tracked me down on social media, or approached me at book signings to ask where the f*%k the sequel I promised you was. Honestly, this book wouldn’t exist without your persistence. I started and stopped this story probably a dozen times. I scrapped tens of thousands of words more than once to start over with a blank page. Something just didn’t feel ‘right’ to me, and I couldn’t put out a story that in my gut I knew was ‘wrong’ in some way. It took over a year, but here it finally is, and I owe that to you.
