Penny watched in horror, unable to move quickly enough, as the
figurine tumbled to the hardwood floor. Its based shattered and the noise was
unnaturally loud. Penny jumped and cursed.

Of all the
stupid….
She shook her head, adrenaline
zipping through her body once again, banishing the almost calm of just moments
ago. Her mouth was dry, her heart racing. She moved as quickly and silently as
possible across the room. She would go into the corridor, down the staff
staircase and back out the door. She was okay, she told herself. No one was
home. Nobody was in the house to hear the tinkle of the breaking glass. The
security people were three floors below her. She was okay.

And then the door to the safe room opened.

Chapter Four

By the light from the hallway Sebastian could see a shadow moving
across the parquet floor of the safe room. He sucked in a shocked breath and
felt his body flood with adrenaline. Someone
was
in his house! Though he’d heard the noises he could barely
comprehend it. No one had ever so much as breached his garden wall before. It
was impossible to. CCTV surrounded the house. The walls were fitted with trip
wires, the doors with silent alarms, hell everything was locked up as tight as
it was possible. It had to be. Sebastian did not like being surrounded by
security people, or staff at all for that matter, but he knew his home was an
obvious target and so he’d done whatever he could to deal with any potential
problems.

How had the thief gotten in? How?

He pushed the door open to its widest arc, flooding the room with
light, and growled. “What the fuck are you doing in my home?” He wasn’t quite
sure why he asked the question because it was obvious, but
ask
it he did. “What have you taken?” he demanded.

The shadow did not answer his question, hardly a surprise. It halted
behind a large dresser, shaded so that Sebastian could see nothing but a lean
outline. For moments their breathing was the only sound in the room, and then
without warning the thief sprang at him. Shock did not hold Sebastian still for
long. He ran forward, meeting the thief in the middle of the room. They
collided and Sebastian felt the breath leave his body as a foot impacted with
the hard muscles of his stomach. He spluttered but reached out just in time to
grab a hold of the thief’s arm. Its other arm came up and smacked him hard on
the jaw. Sebastian reeled, adrenaline flooding him again.
The bastard
.
He smacked the thief
back, triumph singing through him when the thief crumpled to the floor.

“You dare to break into my home?” he roared. He pulled the thief up,
intending to give him another smack, enough to knock him out until he could
call his security—something he should have already done he conceded.
“To steal from me?”

A soft moan sounded and Sebastian paused.
It couldn’t be….
He gripped the upper arms of the thief and dragged
him up towards the hallway, shocked to realize his hands went all the way
around, his fingers meeting on the other side. The thief’s body was limp,
allowing Sebastian to move him with hardly any effort at all. At the entrance
to the door Sebastian lifted the thief upright, shock fizzling through his gut.
The moan, the trimness of the thief’s body….
Not he.
She
.

Because held in front of him, another moan escaping her, Sebastian
could make out a figure that would stiffen any man’s cock. A magnificent pair
of tits outlined under the black of her bodysuit, hips flaring outwards from a
tiny waist…. He shook his head, unable to grasp what his eyes were telling him.
“You’re a fucking woman!”

The thief went completely limp in his arms, her head lolling
forward, and though he knew he shouldn’t, Sebastian felt guilt well up in him.
To hit a woman?
It went against every belief his parents had
ever instilled in him. And he’d punched her with all the force he could muster.
No wonder she was limp. No doubt he’d broken a jaw or something. Panic
slithered through him, combined with the shock, outrage, and the adrenaline of
mere seconds ago. For a moment he was lost, unsure what to do.

She moaned again.

“I’m sorry,” he said quickly, then shook
himself
inwardly. For fucks sake she
was
a
thief! She’d been stealing from him. Had she been a man he wouldn’t have cared,
but because she was female he felt bad about subduing her. “I’m sorry,” he
repeated again, giving her a little shake, hoping to wake her up. “But you
shouldn’t have—”

His words were cut short when a knee hit directly between his legs.
Sebastian turned slightly, deflecting the worst of it, but still it was enough.
He lost his grip on her arms, stumbled, and allowed her enough room to pull
herself free. “You fucking bitch.”

“Language, sweetie,” the woman said, the soft moans no more, and
then she was gone, out the door, racing along the hallway that ran the length
of his home.

Sebastian coughed and lifted himself to his feet. Pain radiated through
his cock. He pulled his Blackberry from his pocket and keyed in a number. A
series of rapid fire instructions were shouted down the phone, and then he was
out the door himself following her.

Her saw one shapely leg turn the corner of the corridor before she
disappeared.
Theos
!
The little bitch! Sebastian could hardly believe it. To break into his home and
then trick him, make him feel guilty for hitting her. She was fine! No one with
a broken jaw could run that fast. He winced as his balls throbbed, his stomach
muscles aching intolerably. She would pay for this, damn her.

He halted at the top of the stairs wondering which way she might
have gone, left or
right?
Down or
not?
Not out the front door that was for sure, it was in plain sight of the
other houses on his exclusive street.
No, out the back then.
Sebastian whirred around, straight into one of the upper rooms, a sort of loft
area, where a spiral staircase led directly into the library—which just
happened to be right next to the other staircase, the one that years ago would
have been used by servants.

He moved as lightly as possible down the spiral staircase, past the
stacks, pushed open the library door…and barreled straight into his thief.

A shocked ‘
ooomph
’ filled the air and
Sebastian steadied himself on the banister before looking down at the figure
splayed across the floor. Her long legs were mere inches from his feet, her
arms out in front of her,
a
heavy waist bag skidding
to a halt a few yards away. As he watched, she lifted herself onto her elbows
and shook her head.

Caught
.
The thought echoed through his mind
and a weird sort of satisfaction filled him. He would make an example of
her,
make sure the world knew what happened to people who
tried to steal from him. Female or bloody not!

Unless…. “Are you alone?”

The thief flipped herself over so that she was lying on her back,
her elbows supporting her upper body. She nodded slowly, her head cast down. He
could see her chest rising and falling from the effort of her flight and
abruptly satisfaction fled to be replaced by something else entirely. No, he
corrected himself, not fled, the satisfaction just changed to a different sort.
Something he should
not
have been
feeling. Sebastian cursed and stepped forward. “Is there anyone else here?” he
demanded.

She shook her head.

“My security guards have surrounded the house,” he said. “The best
thing you can do is to be honest and stay exactly where you are. Even if you
could get past me there is no way in hell you’ll get past them.”

The thief whipped her head up and Sebastian was pinned by a pair of
stunning green eyes outlined by the balaclava she was wearing. He almost gasped.
They were like emeralds, perfectly green and filled with intelligence. His
thief was no common criminal that was for sure.

“I’m not lying,” she said. “It’s just me and as far as your security
guards are concerned I did already.”

“That was before they knew you were here.”

She titled her head, as if agreeing. “If I give you back what I took
will you let me go?”

Her words were unexpected, her voice soft, feminine, with a slight
east end twang. Sebastian was shocked at the effect it had on him. His heart
thumped, his breath stuck in his chest, and he shook his head automatically.
Not in answer to her question, more to deny the strange effect she seemed to be
having on him.
Gamo
.
Get a grip of
yourself!
“What did you take?” he asked, barely getting the words out.

She shrugged, those eyes still fixed on him.
“Money.
What else.”

“How much?”

Another shrug, the movement lifted her breasts beneath the thin
black material of the suit she wore and Sebastian felt his mouth run dry. Dear
God what was wrong with him? She was a criminal! But already his battered cock
was standing to attention, wondering if she was as shapely beneath that
bodysuit as he expected her to be. “How much?” he repeated.

She titled her head to the other side and the look in her eyes
became calculating. Sebastian was sure if he could see her mouth she’d be
smiling. A feline sort of smile, and suddenly he wanted to see the rest of her,
to remove the material hiding her face, to look on her lips, her
cheeks—everything.
Dear God.

“Why don’t you come and find out?” she said. “It’s hidden on me.
Come and have a look.”

His heart raced and Sebastian made to step forward, almost fucking
tempted. “I think not.”

“You know you want to.” She nodded at his now hardened crotch. “Your
cock does anyway.”

He sucked in a sharp breath, startled by her crude words because
they were just so out of place in such a fucked up situation. “You’re a thief.”

“Uh huh.”

“The only place you’ll be going is to the local prison,” he grated. “And
once there, I will find out exactly how you got around my security.”

The thief laughed. “Sweetie, a ten year old could have got round it.
Not exactly difficult.”

“You’ve been here before.” As soon as he said the words they made
sense. She knew the layout, the timing of his security sweeps.
Everything.
That was the only way to explain her presence.
“Or someone you know has.”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?”

Yes, he would. Sebastian moved quickly, pinning her beneath him on
the cold tiles of the lobby. She wiggled and shrieked but he took no notice. He
could feel the heat of her body beneath him, in direct contrast to his
surroundings. Her nipples brushed against his chest, her cat eyes spitting fire
.
A thief, his mind chanted.
A thief
.

He knew it but in one smooth move he removed her balaclava anyway,
unable to deny the urge any longer.
And then…then everything
changed.

Chapter Five

She was in the shit. There was no getting around that right now. In
fact it would be true to say she was pretty much fucked. So surely Penny thought
she should have other things on her mind right now than those that were
currently moving at light speed through her neurons.
Police,
prison, and such.
But no, pinned underneath the hard body of one
Sebastian Demetrious all Penny could seem to focus on was the fact that his
cock was fairly beating against her stomach. It was like her fantasies comes to
life and she couldn’t quite get her head around it. She was aroused. That made
a weird sort of sense, because how many times had she strummed herself to
orgasm with his image in her mind? So of course confronted with the man himself
it was bound to flare up. But then there was him, the Greek and he was aroused
too.
Which
didn’t
make any sort of sense.

She wiggled beneath him, attempting to move him a little but he gave
her no room. She’d taken him by surprise in the safe room, and knew that was
the only reason she’d managed to land not only a perfect roundhouse kick but a
decent smack on the jaw. He was in control now though. Penny doubted she’d get
such an opportunity again.

He maneuvered her so that both of her wrists were held by just one
of his hands and Penny was surprised by his strength. No wilting flower herself
she could hold her own with pretty much anyone, but he held her as if she
weighed no more than a child.

He gripped the bottom of her balaclava and Penny cursed. She caught
his gaze and narrowed her eyes, promising all sorts of retribution she was in
absolutely no position to deliver. It made no difference.

Demetrious removed the material and tossed it aside. His eyes
widened, his nostrils flared, and he shook his head slightly. Shock was stamped
across his features, clear and obvious.
