Shay straightened suddenly and stared at the stricken face that glared at him through the mirror. Shay took a deep breath but rather than answer he simply continued to kiss Trofim’s neck and shoulder. He dropped a hand and stroked over his lover’s cock through his briefs only to get swatted away.

“Tell me! Is it because I’m hideous now? Am I so repulsive now that you can’t even fuck me?”

Shay’s face twisted into anger at the suggestion, “It’s a scar! Nothing more. My back side is covered with them. Is that what you think of me? That my body is repulsive because of them?”

~  *  ~

Trofim paled at the accusation, “No.” The reply was immediate, but faint.
Trofim had never thought that of Shay. He loved his body, but the scars did make him sad at times
.

“You could have a thousand scars on your chest, Trofim, and I will always be attracted to you. I will always love you.”

“Then why?” Trofim was on his last thread. If Shay didn’t confess his reasons he was going to unravel.

Shay dropped his head, rocking back and forth on Trofim’s shoulder, “I can’t tell you. Rather I’m afraid to.”

“It’s because I was raped.”

Shay’s head snapped up revealing his puzzled expression. Shay hadn’t told him, neither had any of his brothers.  Not even between Pyotr and him had it been discussed yet.

“How’d you find out?”

“Detectives. When they came to question me right after they arrested your father.”

“I’m sorry. We were going to tell you, just—” he shrugged, “It seemed there was already enough to deal with.

“That’s why then?” Trofim’s mind going back to the initial topic.

Shay looked heart broken, “I- I was afraid of hurting you like they did.”

Then a horror Trofim hadn’t thought about hit him. “Do I have HIV?”

“No.” Shay assured him quickly, “No. The monsters that attacked you were tested.
You
were tested when they brought you in that night. You’re clean, I promise.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“You couldn’t remember, we thought it was best not to tell you right now— or at all if we could.” Shay’s head shook in a broken rattled movement, “You’d already suffered enough.”

Trofim went wild, suddenly shoving Shay away from him, “So now I have to suffer more with your constant rejections!” He stormed across the room and directed his anger out the large picture window that looked out over the Potomac River of Washington DC.

“No.” Shay was right behind him taking hold of his arms.

Trofim didn’t want to be subdued, he wanted to feel loved in a physical storm of ecstasy. The way Shay had always made him feel. He needed to know that sexual euphoria was still possible for them.

“It’s too soon, Trofim.” Shay whispered against the back of Trofim’s head.

He spun, swinging out with a fist. Shay caught his arm blocking the blow, so he tried to kick him away instead. Trofim wavered sending them both off balance and heading for the floor. Shay scrambled to get his arms under him, catching his weight just inches from crashing down on top of Trofim.

“Trofim, please. I love you. It’s not like that at all. I just don’t want to hurt you.” He pleaded more with him.

Trofim’s hand came up taking his face, “Then make love to me right now. I need to feel you inside me. Please.”

Shay looked as if he’d just been asked to beat him.

“You made a promise to me that day when you put the collar around my neck. You said—

“If my sweetheart wants romance, I will woo him to the end of the earth. If my lover wants it rough, I will—”

“Ride me with his cock so deep inside me until sore becomes my favorite word.”

The air was still between them a moment. Shay’s grey eyes reading him, looking for any doubts Trofim might have felt. “Please, I need something in the middle of those two right now.”

Shay took a deep breath, he could see Trofim really did needed this. They could go slow and he could stop if there was any pain. “Okay, my love.” He lowered his weight just enough to give Trofim the security of his body over him. He kissed his lips, licking at them as they quivered. Part need, part he knew had to be fear.
He hated it
.
He would go slow, as slow as they needed, to get past that part and make it pleasure again.

Trofim put up a bit of a fuss. Then that was typical for Trofim as Shay kissed and touched him. Only Shay refused to be rushed through it. Trofim wanted him to make love to him he wasn’t going to cut corners just to get to the intercourse. Fussing eventually gave way to moaning and his usual writhing about. Trofim never had been one to sit still while Shay sucked or licked over his body. Shay had always loved feeling him squirm under him and therefore took all the time he wanted to enjoy more of it.

The foreplay continued until he’d gotten Trofim to cum, then Shay moved them to the bed and laid them both on their sides pulling Trofim to spoon against him.

He brushed over Trofim’s neck with his fingers, loving the sensuous tightness of the muscles and tendons there. Shay kissed him and since for once he didn’t have to worry about leaving marks, Shay did exactly that, latched onto Trofim’s neck, sucking hard against the soft flesh until he drew the blood to the surface and left a purplish red bite mark in his wake.
A good bruise to counter the bad.

He smoothed a healthy portion of lube on his shaft and more over Trofim’s puckered hole and pressed a finger in gently. He went slow, keeping one arm wrapped around Trofim’s body to act more as guardian than hugging. If he felt even the slightest fear or anxiety he would withdraw.

But Trofim’s only response was the whimpered sigh of his breath as he pushed back on Shay’s hand to tell him he was more than ready for more. Shay slowly pumped his fingers inside Trofim’s hole, in and out, several times to loosen him up. Even crooking his finger so he could catch the glorified spot of his prostate gland, and Trofim was instantly panting and pushing back against him harder.

“Are you sure?” Shay whispered.

“Yes.”

Shay pulled his fingers from Trofim’s body and shifted his hips back, lined his cock in place of his fingers and then slowly eased all the way in.

Trofim’s head kicked back but the sound that came was only one of pleasure. Trofim reached back, catching Shay’s hip and pulled on him until Shay’s cock was seated deeply inside his lover’s body. Then slowly they both began to move. Rocking apart and back together. Their breaths growing deeper and raspy. They kissed each other though few were successful attempts to bring their lips together. Rather, most landed at random locations as their cheeks scrubbed abrasively against one another. Shay’s teeth found Trofim’s shoulder several times, biting down to fight back his growing desires to pump harder. He became lost within the spell of his partner. And in doing so discovered that he too had really needed this.

Shay reached around and clasped Trofim’s thigh and lifted his knee up in the air so Shay could push deeper, and allow a little more throttle into their love making. Trofim moaned out his body’s welcoming of it and soon they were both surrendered to a mutual release.

“Hey.” Shay whispered in the dark in Trofim’s ear. “I got a little something for you.”

“Hmmm—” Trofim rocked against him already half asleep. “What is it?”

“Open your eyes.” Trofim cracked his eyes open and there in Shay’s hands, held in front of him was a small red velvet box. He opened it to find two sterling silver bands inside.

Trofim slowly took the bands from the box and held them closer. The bands were simple. No gem stones or fancy designs. They were better because their names had been engraved in the bands with a relaxed script. One said:
Trofim,
the other:
Shay
.

“Marry me, Trofim.” Shay whispered then pressed his lips to the side of Trofim’s head.

Trofim took the ring with Shay’s name on it and slipped it over his finger, then took Shay’s hand and put the other ring on his.

He locked their fingers together in a fist and then turned them so he could look at both rings together, reaching out to touch the bands as if testing to see if they were actually real.

As happy as his lover’s proposal made him, there was also something very painful about it. “Shay—”

“Yes?”

“I don’t think I can handle being called a Wilks.”

Shay pulled Trofim’s head around to look at him, “You think I’d do that to you?” Shay’s hand dropped to the fresh scar on Trofim’s chest and touched it lightly, “My father has already left his scar on your body. You think I’d let his name scar you too?” Shay leaned down and kissed him, “In truth, I was actually hoping you’d give me yours.” He drew in a long breath and dropped his forehead to Trofim’s cheek, “Though I’m not so sure how Pavle will take it.”

“Yes.”

Shay’s head shot up, looking at him, finding a warm smile and maybe a tinge of pride.

“You can marry me, Doctor Shay Laszkovi.” Trofim’s hand caught the back of Shay’s head and pulled him in for a deep long kiss.

Shay leaned back when the kiss broke to look down at him a moment. Just to be sure. “I have to warn you though, we’re flat broke.”

“The money from your mother?”

“Gone. All of it.”

Trofim’s smile returned, “I’m okay with that.”

They kissed again then finally settled into each other’s arms, letting sleep take them.

They’d already been through the very worst life could throw at them. They made it through it and they made it together. So yes, it really was okay.

The morning wake-up call came early and the hotel’s hallways, elevators and lobby were bustling with crew members and fans for the National’s open trials.

Trofim’s curly mop became the Buddha of good luck as each of the guys from their team took a turn at messing it up much to Trofim’s chagrin.
That
was settled with a long hug from Pyotr.

“Make noise out there for me, will you?”

Pyotr’s smile beamed despite being a bit teary, “Noise we will most certainly be making.” Pyotr dropped his hand on Trofim’s head, but unlike the other’s he didn’t tussle his brother’s hair. Just held him, quietly absorbing the moment, then pulled Trofim in and kissed him on the forehead before turning away to load up in their ride.

Shay and Trofim made a pit stop in the breakfast diner, grabbed a couple of coffees and a newspaper on the way out. It was warming up already, so they decided to walk down towards the river. It wasn’t far and had Shay’s stamp of approval for light exercise for Trofim.

The riverbank and sidewalk were lined up with anchored boats, sculling fans, team and sponsor banners, and camera crews. Perhaps the best part was seeing a couple of rainbow flags, with a scull boat overlay, being waved around.

They walked as close as humanly possible, Shay’s arm dropped over Trofim’s shoulder, their ring hands locked together in a finger grip.

It was a perfect late May Saturday morning. A man couldn’t ask for better.

They found a perfect spot along the bank of the Georgetown Waterfront Park, just up river from the boathouse where the race would begin and the market center, where they caught up with Cliff, Isaiah, Isaac, Stanislav, Pavle’s two boys and ex-wife, Maggie.

That woman rained sweetness and an endless supply of hugs.

“She always like this?” Shay asked Trofim quietly after finally managing to escape the fifth round of hugs from her.

“Like a walking ray of sunshine?” Trofim gave a wide grin, “Always.”

Shay nodded his approval, because it was a nice change of atmosphere.

They leaned in on the seawall just taking it all in while they waited for the race to start. Shay remembered his newspaper and fished it from his back pocket. He flipped it open, scanning over the headlines. Hoping for something better than last week’s news which had included a headline that read:

~~“GOP turns their back on would be VP candidate after evidence is revealed and VP hopeful, Benjamin Wilks, is brought up on charges of conspiracy and attempted murder.” ~~

All that wishful thinking of conspired plans that would have them all rolling in Rothschild dough had been blown. Now Benjamin’s backers withdrew, keeping a safe distance to avoid being implicated. It was good news for the prosecution. Without political and financial backing, it meant Shay’s father was going to see a speedy trial.

Shay was about to close the paper when he spotted a photo of his father at the moment when he’d been arrested, on page four:

~~ “Benjamin Wilks found dead in his cell yesterday morning in what looks like suspicious circumstances.”~~

Guess someone beat them to the punch, and made sure Ben Wilks was silenced
. While Shay would have preferred to see the man stand trial, he felt no remorse for him. His father dug his own grave and now laid in it.

Trofim leaned in as Shay rolled up the paper and tossed it into a nearby trash can, “Anything good in the news?”

“Yeah.” He smiled and kissed his fiancé, “It said we won.”

ABOUT THE TWINS

~  *  ~  *  ~  *  ~  *  ~  *  ~

We Came— We Saw— and then we made it sexy.

And that's pretty much how the Twins came to write Erotic Romances and Dark Fantasies. Both Talon PS and Princess SO have been writing together since they were kids, always challenging and competing with each other, and always each other's biggest supporters.

Writing has always been an affair creating Fictions of Dark Apocalyptic Fantasy and Film Scripts in the Action/Drama and a few Sci-Fi's. It wasn't until they began an ancient history tale that the works turned to the Erotic Genre and they've been hooked ever since.
